Consumer Complaint: FedLoan Servicing reported me being 90 days late in XXXX of XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX and again in XX/XX/XXXX I called and told them that I had lost my job and they said that I would be placed in forbearance. I went to apply for a home loan and noticed that on all three reports that I was marked as 90 days delinquent on all 9 accounts. I contacted FedLoan Servicing and the agent told me that he saw where I called in both times and that I should have been in forbearance during that period. He said he would make a not on the account saying such. I checked a few months later and noticed it still said the same thing. I called again and this time the representative instructed me to do a Credit Dispute form. I did so and within a week it was denied. I did this 2 more times, each time a different representative telling me to do and submit different information. I was told by a representative tat if I wasnt very specific that they may not even look at my information and just deny it because no one wants to look through and figure all this out. I submitted the proof from my credit reports circled and highlighted the information. I was still denied. I havent had a late payment on my credit report in years because I knew I wanted to purchase a home this year. I am becoming very frustrating and not confident in our institutions. I have been doing what they tell and submitting documents and keep getting denials without response other that its valid. I do not understand how if they can see my phone calls that they wouldnt know that I requested a forbearance.

Consumer Complaint: On 5 separate occasions in XXXX, I have directly mailed and/or called in to FedLoan Servicing explaining unforeseen circumstances that resulted in late payments being reported to all three of the credit bureaus ( XXXX, XXXX and XXXX ). In late XXXX of XXXX, my mother passed away due to her battle with XXXX XXXX. I was providing direct care for her prior to her passing and also had to deal with various arrangements of her affairs immediately after her passing. During this difficult time of caring for my mom throughout XXXX an up until her passing, I inadvertently lost focus of my own due dates for my financial responsibilities. It was an extremely difficult time for myself and my family, as I was very close to my mother. As soon as I realized my oversight of payment to XXXX XXXX, I made appropriate arrangements to bring it current. I have ensured that my accounts have been in good standing since. With my correspondence to FedLoan Servicing, I did include a copy of my mothers death certificate as " proof '' of this unfortunate situation.

Consumer Complaint: Information about the status of my Federal Student loans is being reported incorrectly to the credit bureaus from XX/XX/2020 onward. The loans are in forbearance because of the XXXX relief bill that was passed and extended. These loans show on my credit report as being in collections instead of being in forbearance. This has negativity impacted my credit score by the three credit bureaus.

Consumer Complaint: Hello. I have made several student loan payments to FedLoan Servicing that are not showing as being qualified. Many of these payments were made while being employed by two PSLF-qualifying employers between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. I submitted certification forms for these two employers to FedLoan, most recently on XX/XX/XXXX and have not yet heard back. I see that, in the time that I've been waiting for a response to my XX/XX/XXXX form submission, my qualifying payment total has increased but is not completely accurate. I see three issues : 1. When I was employed by one of the PSLF-qualifying employers, I made payments from XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX. This is a total of 13 payments, and none of these payments are showing as being qualified. 2. While employed by another PSLF-qualifying employer, I made payments from XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX. This is a total of 28 payments, but only 24 of these payments ( from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX XXXX are showing as being qualified. This leaves 4 payments ( from XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX ) as not showing as being qualified. 3. I have made consistent student loan payments while being employed by my current PSLF-qualifying employer from XX/XX/XXXX until present. There is 1 student loan payment ( for XX/XX/XXXX ) that is not showing as being qualified. These incidents total 18 payments that should be qualified and are not currently showing as such. Thank you for your attention to this.

Consumer Complaint: FedLoan Servicing is indicating, through their website, that I have a payment past due on a federal student loan when payment upon such loans is suspended until at least XXXX XXXX, 2021. FedLoan 's banner message alleges my loan payment is two days past due. I know that's not correct ( and possibly illegal under the FDCPA ), but how many borrowers are relying on the information being provided to them by their loan servicer as to when they have to make payments?

Consumer Complaint: I have my loans through myfed loan and am participating in federal student loan forgiveness program. I have been paying my loans for 10 years. I dont believe my count is accurate. I asked for them to recount my payments 13 months ago in XX/XX/2020. I have called 7-8 times to check on the progress and the customer service says they can provide no update but it should be completed in a year. Its been over a year. When I called in XXXX to ask if I could be in contact with whoever was doing the recount, I was told no, they would send a message and have someone contact me. There has been no contact, its been over a year.

Consumer Complaint: I am in the public service student loan forgiveness program. In checking on my qualifying payments as I near the end of my ten years of service, I found two months that were not counted and called MyFedLoan to discuss those months as I have always been enrolled in automatic payments that were deducted from my checking account. The months are XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. I was told over the phone in XX/XX/XXXX by MyFedLoan that those months occurred because I was not billed when my loans were transferred between servicers. I asked if I could make those months up since I was on automatic payments and was not advised about this happening. I was told that MyFedLoan had opened a formal inquiry for me and would get back to me to let me know if I can make those payments up. I never heard back, so I wrote to them on XX/XX/XXXX, asking to make those payments up. Again, I have never had a response. In reviewing my records, my loans were not transferred to different servicers on those dates. They were still being serviced by XXXX, who took my payments via automatic deduction. XXXX did not tell me they werent taking those months and never gave me the opportunity to make those payments up. MyFedLoan says I wasnt billed at those times, but there was no way for me to fix it since I was on auto-payment and was not notified about this. Two months toward my 120 required payments for loan forgiveness will help me a lot because my family is moving to Colorado for my husband 's job and I do not want to stay behind with our XXXX being apart from his dad any time beyond what is necessary to finish this program. Anyway, I have never heard anything back from MyFedLoan about whether they will permit me to make up those two payments to have them qualify toward the 120 payments for the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX office during those months ( and submitted the required employment certification to prove it ) so I just need to make up the payments since I was not able to do it when they transferred my loans at the time. Thank you so much for any help.

Consumer Complaint: I have direct federal loans and have been paying under the IRB plan for years. Several of my payments which should be qualifying are listed as not qualifying on the site for several reasons. I emailed them about this several times over the past three years including twice in 2020. 10 payments are still listed as no bill and 8 are listed as pending manual review as they have been for months. Can you please help?
