Consumer Complaint: I believe I have made XXXX payments and should qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness now, but Fedloan has me at XXXX. The disputed payments include the following : one from XX/XX/XXXX where Fedloan says I " don't have a bill for this payment, '' but still debited the monthly amount from my bank account. The issue was without my asking for it, they put me into " disaster forbearance '' because I lived close to the California wildfires despite the fact that the fires did not affect me personally. I called and asked to remove the forbearance, which had been placed for two months, and asked them to bill me as I wished to continue to make payments. They removed the forbearance and only debited my account for one month, but did not create a bill. Therefore, they took my money for one month even though I asked them to take it for two months, and then counted zero months. Another disputed payment is from XX/XX/XXXX during a transition from a prior servicer to Fedloan. This payment has been " pending manual review '' for over two years. I have submitted proof of payment for this bill but it hasn't changed anything thus far. I called Fedloan and they advised me NOT to submit for forgiveness now because it will be denied. They also said there is " no timeframe '' for when my disputed payments may be reviewed. I asked if I might speak to their ombudsman or at least a manager and was told " no. '' They would not give me any contact information for an ombudsman.

Consumer Complaint: U.S. Department of Education XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX, KY XXXX To whom it may concern : I am writing this letter to get clarification of my student loans. I recently applied for Public Service Loan Forgiveness and was denied. I immediately went to work in my defense and I have been working for the government for over 10 years. The reason why the Public Student Loan application was completed was I made a phone call to Fed Loan Servicing department on XX/XX/XXXX and spoke to representative # XXXX. This operator informed me that I could apply as of XX/XX/XXXX and all my requirements had been met. Excited as I was I applied and was denied. I then sent a detailed letter to FedLoan and I do not think that XXXX sent them all my information as far as payments. I do not know why and how the representative would tell me that I qualified if all payments were not in their system. I sent all the information from XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX to Fedloan and to this date have no received any updated information. I have attended to school for quite some time, with no degree, and am appalled that I have to send a letter in order to protect myself. I have some enclosed documents that I want to share and get clarification on. Report from XXXX. I do not know how I obtained this but glad it is within my hands. 1. There is a total of XXXX Forbearance lines within this report. They go back to the year of XXXX. I never recall putting any loan that I have had within Forbearance. I will need to see all signed documentation or recorded phone call where I did this. If no documentation can be obtained please update all loans that state there was a Forbearance. 2. There are schools where I know I signed up but never attended within this report. I know that I withdrew from XXXX XXXX XXXX. Signed documentation is needed for these loan that are on this report. I never recall attending XXXX XXXX and signed documentation will be needed to justify these loans to this school. 3. There are lines that there were loans that went to XXXX XXXX for Consolidation Loans. Who is this and why is there no school listed like the other loans. I will need signed documentation for this as well. If no documentation can be obtained I will need these loans removed from my transcript. 4. XXXX XXXX was a promises school where as they stated that if I graduated from their college I was guaranteed a job. Once enrolled I just seen the tuition higher and higher, partially the main reason I am in so much school debt, so I did not re-enroll. It seemed as they were only for profit. XXXX correspondences ( dated XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX ) 1. There are several loans within these documents that need to be counted towards my Public Student Loan Forgiveness. All this information was submitted to Fedloan but never updated. Court brief where I am listed as a litigant with the student loan predatory lending 1. This brief shows that some of these loans were offered to me and should not have. I am just trying to get my loans under control. At this time, I could not even go back to school as I have exhausted all federal help with no degree. I would like all this investigated. I have worked for the XXXX of XXXX since XX/XX/XXXX. My XXXX years has exhausted. According to all information provided, I should have XXXX payments and qualify for the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I eagerly await your reply. Consumer Complaint: MyFedLoan is the servicer of my loan. In XXXX starting around XXXX I started the process to change my repayment plan. Around the 60 day mark the process was still not complete, so I started calling to inquire about any repercussions since I was not making payments. I was advised to not make any payments, and to wait til they processed my repayment plan request and pay the {$5.00} that switched the plan over. I finally received the request in XXXX and paid my {$5.00} via the website which was also my last payment to this plan. Unbeknownst to me this loan was being reported late each month and eventually reported that I was 150 days late to the credit bureaus. When I found this out I called back and the rep said that a simple dispute would remove the incorrect information. I've done that multiple times and this information remains on my credit report. MyFedLoan then asked me to fill out the credit dispute form which I did, and once again it's now almost a month later and no action has been taken. It is coming up on 3 years since MyFedLoan dropped the ball, and now I'm having to spend hours and years correcting the mistake of MyFedLoan. I have spoken to them over 30 times in the past 3 years and all calls were on recorded lines, all reps claim they made notes to my account as well.

Consumer Complaint: This Fedloan account is reporting LATE PAYMENTS AFTER THE ACCOUNT CLOSED XX/XX/XXXX. It is ONLY reporting on XXXX This account was closed due to transfer XX/XX/XXXX. I have late payments from XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX. Then showing current payments from XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX. THIS ACCOUNT WAS CLOSED. I have several credit reports showing the closure date and late payments/payments, along with a letter from Fedloan that they closed it and no payments after XX/XX/XXXX. I will be attaching all of that. Fedloan and XX/XX/XXXX are no help. Every time I dispute, they add more stuff after the date of closure!

Consumer Complaint: Hello, I applied for XXXX through Fed Loan Servicing on XX/XX/2020. At that time, it showed I made XXXX qualifying payments for both of my loans. It is now showing that I have made XXXX qualifying payments for only one of my loans, the other is now showing XXXX ( XXXX if I certify my XXXX ). I received a letter from Fed Loan Servicing back in XX/XX/2020 for a XX/XX/2020 review that showed both of my loans at XXXX qualifying payments. I was advised by them to wait until XX/XX/2020 to submit my XXXX review and that it could take up to XXXX days. It is now past XXXX days, I get the run around on the phone every time I call and a different answer each time. I'm concerned about two things : my XXXX loan not showing the correct XXXX qualifying payments and why this is taking so long. I know people who have requested XXXX after me and have had their loans forgiven. Can you please help me? Please let me know if you need any additional information. Thank you, XXXX XXXX
