Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX I forwarded a letter complaint, addressed to the Manager, Wells fargo Card Services, at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX CA XXXX. Earlier also on the same month, My daughter who is residing permanently in XXXX, was able to contact the fraud department of the Wells Fargo and reported about this criminal activity. The issue was about the billing and their intention to collect from me, purchases made on my Wells fargo XXXX American express card. I strongly refuted and opposed the billing and collection based on the following grounds. ( 1 ) This particular credit card has expired in XX/XX/XXXX and I did not renew it anymore, because I was already scheduled to leave USA. ( 2 ) I am now residing permanently in the XXXX. The two stores where the purchases were perfected in XX/XX/XXXX, does not exist in our locality or in the XXXX. Despite the earlier report of my Daughter about this criminal acts plus my own letter complaint to the company, No action has been taken on it until today, Hence this statement has been formalized intended for your office, for your information, guidance and action..

XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX, CEO of Wells Fargo XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, CFPB Director of Consumer Financial Protection Consumer Financial Protection Bureau XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Washington DC XXXX Dear XXXX XXXX, Why is it, all three of these companies, XXXX, XXXX, and Wells Fargo will not fulfill their statutory obligation and respond/answer my FTC 609e Identity Theft request sent to them by certified mail as the result of a fake account application submitted to XXXX by a Wells Fargo employee ? Considering the {$3.00} XXXX fine for fake account applications of Wells Fargo in XXXX, I would think they would be more diligent in providing details of violations. Instead, below is their response to my request for the person that submitted an account application at Wells Fargo without my knowledge and now confirmed by Wells Fargo to be an employee of their company. Their response : We are denying your request for the names of our team members involved in the incident. Is it now okay for team members at Wells Fargo to submit fake account applications to extract personal financial information? Is Wells Fargo accessing Asset Verification Companies databases like XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX under the pretense of a fabricated account application? Is this data being passed through XXXX without notice to the consumer on their disclosure? If so, this would be complete and total reckless disregard for individual privacy. The fact this is the third request to Wells Fargo says volumes. XXXX XXXX, can you please compel these companies to comply with the 609e and answer my questions? XXXX : Why did XXXX delete the fake application in my disclosure? Forward the name of the Wells Fargo employee that submitted a fake account application to access my financial data as well as a copy of my data that you gave them under false pretenses. Is this the same person that accessed my data on nearly a monthly basis under the name of XXXX Did the person represent that I had a working relationship with Wells Fargo and maintained account agreements giving my consent for Wells Fargo to access my data? XXXX : Why are Wells Fargo employees accessing my financial data under the name of XXXX via XXXX? Was it under the pretense that I had a working relationship with Wells Fargo? If so, please provide the name of the person that made this representation. Wells Fargo : This is the third request for documents relating to two incidents of identity theft at Wells Fargo. The first was the account application. The second was discovered when researching the account application by your employee, XXXX. Regarding the WF XXXX pull found on my XXXX report and confirmed by XXXX and XXXX to be a Wells Fargo account application, that was submitted without my knowledge or consent, you will provide as FCRA 609 ( e ) states, a copy of application and business transactions. A. This will include all email addresses, phone numbers, ID numbers, meaning social security numbers, taxpayer ID numbers, Drivers License numbers, Passport numbers, or any other numbers used on the application. This should also include the name of any Wells Fargo representative presenting with my credentials. B. This will include all names, email addresses, phone numbers used in the application process to verify the identity of the applicant via text, email, or any other process as well as IP addresses or other tracking or cookie information. C. This will include all copies of requests for my personal financial data generated by the fake Wells Fargo account application to any Credit Reporting Agencies like XXXX or their affiliates. D. All information that was provided to you from any Credit Reporting Agencies like XXXX or their affiliates. If these documents are maintained by another person on your behalf, you will provide them as Section 609 ( e ) indicates. E. This will include all copies of requests for my personal financial data generated by the fake Wells Fargo account application to any XXXX XXXX Companies like XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX F. All information that was provided to you from any Asset Verification Companies like XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX etc. If these documents are maintained by another person on your behalf, you will provide them as Section 609 ( e ) indicates. G. The identity of the person responsible should you know it. Regarding the account found by XXXX XXXX while researching the fake account application, if this was the account that I had opened while my office was at the XXXX XXXX address, provide all data sharing/marketing agreements that were maintained and utilized based on the false pretense that I had a working relationship with Wells Fargo XXXX This should include all access to Credit Reporting Agencies and affiliates such as XXXX and Clarity as well as any Asset Verification Companies listed above. This should also include all cross-marketing agreements with other financial institutions such as XXXX XXXX. If this account was opened under false pretenses, please provide the same information as the first application. A. This will include all email addresses, phone numbers, ID numbers, meaning social security numbers, taxpayer ID numbers, Drivers License numbers, Passport numbers, or any other numbers used on the application. This should also include the name of any Wells Fargo representative presenting with my credentials. B. Consumer Complaint: This will be the 3rd report I have filed with you guys because after much investigation and correspondence with Wells Fargo this should be a continuation complaint about this institution.. I have sent them a most resent article from CFPB as well as referring to a major case of XXXX XXXX XXXX. I myself see a reflection in a mirror of me when I read through the claims in this very heated and horrible case!! I was a XXXX Mom at the time they really Spun me out of control. Having to go to local XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX places just so Me and my XXXX could survive paycheck to paycheck!!!! XXXX did not care!! Of course I have NO access to those bank statements. This has been dragging on, and on and on. The more i think about things the 33 years ive been with them the more i realize they have done me wrong. At XXXX they received my 1st paycheck when they were XXXX XXXX, then they changed to XXXX, now they are Wells Fargo. I sure wish you guys could do more than just scold them!!! I have said hey, let 's average out the XXXX years instead of Civil Court, but they would rather make this 100 % XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX struggle with finding an attorney and go thru all that. So what say you?!!!!!

Consumer Complaint: Well Fargo deposit accounts that were wrongly frozen and charged me fees after fees, some one wrote me two business checks, wells took the money and closed out the accounts. Totaling out to XXXX. I was always charged for some type of fee and and charge for things i didn't charge and i couldn't get my funds back.applied other incorrect charges to checking and savings accounts, and improperly froze some accounts several times where i couldn't pay my bills and now its on my credit and i cant open up another checking with other banks.
