Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2023 Good morning, my name is XXXX XXXX XXXX and I have for 7 years a Business in XXXX FL, which has a machine to process debit, credit and XXXX sales, with Wells Fargo. On XXXX at XXXX XXXXhe machine stopped working and I called the Wells Fargo merchant department to ask what was happening. In that call I am informed that supposedly a client called VISA and gave a complaint about my Business where he said that customers were required a minimum for their purchases, and they were also charged a surcharge. All this is false, I told Wells Fargo that I had proof that XXXX XXXX doesn't do those things and I personally went to the bank and spoke to business banker XXXX XXXX and showed him the receipts for the sales every day before Wells Fargo told me the false accusation, sales of {$0.00}, of {$1.00}, of {$1.00}, of {$1.00}, many receipts from different transactions and different days and different people. On XXXX the sale of cards for the whole day was {$770.00}, which money was not deposited to my Account. on XXXX at XXXX I call Wells Fargo to see why the deposit did not enter My account and the respond was that I was fined {$5000.00} dollars for said ( false ) accusations. I immediately went to the bank and XXXX XXXX XXXX told me that he could not do anything more than what he had already done because the merchant department was a superior entity, from there I went out to find a legal representative and with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I put a Demand Letter to Wells Fargo to which they responded without presenting evidence of why they were acting like this against My business and without giving me the right to mediate and review mine and their evidence of Innocence. I return to the Law Firm, and I told them that I wanted to continue with a Civil Lawsuit with a judge in the Court and we made a new contract. After XXXX days, they call me from the firm and said they were going to cancel the contract and return the money I had paid them because Wells Fargo resides in the state of Texas and My lawyers do not have jurisdiction there because the Firm is from XXXX. I do not understand if I live in XXXX. Florida and the business is in XXXX and Wells Fargo is in XXXX why do I have to go to the state of Texas to be able to take Wells Fargo before a Judge and make them pay for the monetary damage they are causing me. Since XXXX, my business is only selling Cash, I can not use the card machine because the bank withholds the Money, they withheld {$770.00} on XXXX and {$89.00} on XXXX, which is when I stopped the sales by credit cards. Many customers who continue to come to My business and must now buy cash and are willing to talk to explain how they buy in the Store and show that Wells Fargo is taking an unfair action Against My Business and against My family economy to the point of almost being bankrupt. I am providing you with a copy of my receipts, the correspondence received from Wells Fargo and correspondence from the attorney. I am not in agreement with the stance Wells Fargo has taken against my business because I am not guilty of their accusations, and I will greatly appreciate it if you can review my case and advise what steps need to be taken to resolve this issue. Consumer Complaint: Wells Fargo / ASC wrongfully and illegally foreclosed on my home back on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. Recently, I have read that in XX/XX/XXXX ; the CFPB has ordered Wells Fargo ( WF ) to pay several billion dollars in damages to consumers like myself. I have very solid documentation to prove all facts. I recently contacted WF with no positive results. Back in XXXX, I made 7 monthly payments on time under a trial loan modification. WF cancelled the loan mod and refused to accept the 8th payment. By contract, WF should have made the loan permanent after only 3 monthly trial payments. During the trial loan mod , WF / ASC discovered 3 outdated and defunct liens on the property that I had not been aware of. These liens had been made legally and effectively irrelevant a few years prior due to the bankruptcy process I went through. So WF/ ASC requested I remove these liens. The local county courts do not make this a quick process, so it took several months. I stayed in communcation with WF throughout this process. These liens were never any threat to WF because WF was always unquestionably in first lienholder position. Also, these liens were entirely outdated and ineffective. Removing these liens was only a legal formality ; though still a slow process. However, without warning or communication, the loan modification was suddenly cancelled on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. The local courts had just finished removing all 3 liens just prior to XXXX XXXX. I immediately contacted WF and even though several WF representatives acknowledged that cancelling the loan mod was a big mistake ; they had no process in place to re-instate the prior loan mod and make the loan permanent. I fought this legally for more than 3 years but finally ran out of money to continue paying attorneys. Our family home was foreclosed on and I lost all the equity ( {$150000.00} ) I should have had in the home and my credit was severely damaged for many years due to the foreclosure. This all was so unnecessary and was a traumatic multi-year experience for my XXXX young children as well as myself. Furthermore, there was XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) class action lawsuit against WF / ASC where the Judge ruled strongly against WF for exactly this kind of conduct. Corvello vs WF. The Judge stated that not converting trial loan mods to permanent loans when the homeowner had made all required trial mod monthly mortgage payments was a clear FRAUD. He stated it was no different than agreeing to sell a wrist watch for {$100.00}, collecting the {$100.00} ; and then not actually giving the watch to the buyer ......

Consumer Complaint: I had an auto loan account in the amount of {$29000.00} from Wells Fargo on a brand new vehicle that was opened XX/XX/XXXX and closed XX/XX/XXXX when another bank bought out the loan from them. In XXXX of XXXX, I noticed that this loan was missing from my credit report and contacted Wells Fargo. They failed to follow up with me until I went into a local branch in XXXX of XXXX, and a banker was able to escalate my case to a higher up in the company. They stated that the loan was unreported because of an issue with my co-signers address, which they never reached out to fix prior to and I was unaware was even an issue. They did initiate reporting the loan, and it did appear on my report by the end of XX/XX/XXXX as a closed auto loan account. Now, several months later as I am rebuilding my credit and reviewing all accounts on my reports, I am realizing that this loan shows absolutely no reported payment historywhich in turn did nothing to help with my credit. There are at least 10-11 on time payments that are missing from the now reported auto loan. There were several recorded calls between myself and the lender during XXXX and an email that I sent to their credit bureau operations on XX/XX/XXXX. I initiated another complaint via phone call and email to them today, XX/XX/XXXX and will be faxing a credit rating request to them, which is what the customer service representative told me to do.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I had been offered a job, which ended up being a scam. I was told to deposit a check, which I was at the time unaware was a fake check. Into my wells fargo checking for supplies I would need to work from home. They told me to send on over the money via XXXX to pay the vendor for the computer supplies I would need for the job I was just hired for. I found out that day that It ended up being a scam. I read a post on the XXXX website very similar to my situation for the same company they used. I immediately contacted my bank to let them know of my concerns. It was not too long after I had sent over the four XXXX payments. I thought I was going to receive these supplies. I filed claims for the check and the four XXXX transfers. This has gone on for weeks now. I talked to every department at wells fargo, escalating it as high as I could, constantly being transferred from one person to the next spending hours on the phone with them, on hold, etc. I lost out on {$1300.00} dollars and they overdrew me by {$600.00}. My account has been negative. I changed my account asap, but that didn't stop the check from taking the money out of my new bank account. Since it was fraudulent. The associates at wells fargo were rude and lecturing me multiple times and shaming me for using XXXX and warning me about sending money through XXXX. When I didn't know I was being scammed. They didn't give me provisional credit either. I also filed a police report and filed with the FBI about this. I am still waiting for wells fargo to let me know If I will get all my money returned since they closed out all my claims, saying they weren't considered fraud it was a scam, and there wasn't any bank error ( when they know it was fraud ) They said there are no guarantees that I will get my money back. I have good credit and this has never happened to me before, I have been with wells fargo since XXXX. Please help me, as that was the only money I had left, as a single mom of XXXX. Who was just trying to get a job and got scammed. Wells Fargo has all the info and I am waiting for the Executive Office for the complaints department to get back to me by XX/XX/XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: The company preys on consumers who are struggling financially by allowing for transactions to automatically process even though funds are not sufficient. They claim to offer an " extra grace day '' period and that they send email notifications, yet I only recieved one today ( XX/XX/2023 ) for " insufficient funds. '' When I opened my account, I noticed an overdrawn account of {$45.00}, {$35.00} of which were their infamous overdraft fees. As a customer of 10 years, as well as a student and parent who has faced financial difficulties recently, I was appalled when they told me " I had too many of their [ greed-fueled ] fees refunded in the last 12 months and that they were unable to help me in my situation. '' Since I do not currently recieve direct deposits and rely on gig jobs between parenting and schooling or selling my possessions to pay bills, I asked what could be done as a solution to prevent any more daily {$35.00} fees ( leaving me further indebted to the bank ) while I figure out how to get money transferred in. The representative gave me zero solutions and simply stated the obvious " look out for the grace day period '' or " connect a credit card and add a savings account with money you very clearly don't have. '' This means that they told me I would continue to receive daily {$35.00} overdraft fees even after replacing the missing funds from my account. This is not the first time they have told me this. They also continue to charge a {$10.00} " monthly service fee '' due to the fact that I do not make at least 10 transactions a month ( which is difficult to do when you have very little in your account to begin with ). The only way to avoid the service fee, according to the bank, is to have a minimum amount of cash in your account or to make these 10 transactions monthly. These practices are disturbing, as there's nothing done by Wells Fargo to earn the money and it targets those who aren't financially stable enough to spend frivolously. I have had positive balances in my account before, but not " sufficient '' by Wells Fargo standards. That, meaning that I have had to practically beg them several months ago to refund a meaningless {$10.00} fee just to afford gas to get home from work ( though they refused to return that money that they took, for quite literally no reason other than, " this is our policy. You must have {$500.00} in your checking/savings account to avoid the fee '' ). This " maintenence '' fee is why I closed my savings account with them in the past. I have no idea how anything this bank does to profit is legal, but it is most definitely not moral. I have finally decided that I am one of the many who are absolutely done with dealing with a bank who does not care for anything other than lining the pockets of its investors and executives. They need to stop allowing loyal customers to overdraft or stop charging ill-intentioned, daily fees for small discrepancies. Shame on Wells Fargo for instilling these horrendous practices into their business model.

Consumer Complaint: My online bank account was blocked from making payments due to it being in bankruptcy status. On XX/XX/2023 my vehicle was repossessed by the bank without notice and when asked to make a payment to pick it up I was told I needed to use certified funds, at which point the agent stated a debit card would be certified funds and a release would be sent once payment was received. I called the company holding the vehicle whos information was provided at time of payment by Wells Fargo, and they stated in the afternoon of the XXXX that usually discharge paperwork is sent a lot sooner. I called Wells Fargo again and was told that it can take up to 48 business hours that they were behind and I needed to wait. This morning I called to check on the status and was told that a debit card payment doesnt apply instantly like certified funds would and the 48 hours started today, also proceeded to provide credit counseling about how Im making my payments. Ill call back tomorrow to try to pick up my car again but it seems like Im getting the runaround, especially because every day that its in repossession Im subject to the tow company keeping any personal property in my vehicle.
