Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, around XXXX XXXX, I received email from Wells Fargo that they will close my checking and saving account on XX/XX/XXXX and those accounts were put in " locked '' status, meaning that I don't have access to my ~ {$35000.00} balance in my account for two weeks. The reason for closure in the email is " because of one or more money transfers to your account reported as unauthorized. " I received multiple XXXX transfers from my client in the account, and they are all authorized by my clients. I made multiple phone calls in the morning to Wells Fargo, including online customer service , fraud prevention contact center, loss prevention contact center, online claim contact center. They all don't know what's real reason for closing with my account and which transaction ( s ) are not authorized. They gave me a case ID XXXX. One lady from loss prevention contact center saying that there was a claim against my account and it happened and closed on XX/XX/XXXX. The claim number is XXXX. I opened the account on XX/XX/XXXX and by XX/XX/XXXX, I don't have any transactions. Another weird thing is that no one can tell me what is in the claim. Right now, first I would like to know which transaction ( s ) are not authorized. If there is no unauthorized transaction, then what's the reason for closing my account? Second I need to have access to my balance in my account.

Consumer Complaint: on XX/XX/2023 i transfered XXXX to my savings account. When i woke up on XXXX i checked my account and noticed that it only showed that i have a checking account. I called the bank and was told that they closed my savings account because it was negative XXXX and to go to a local branch to withdraw the money. I went to the branch and was told there was nothing that could be done and to call customer service. I have been calling the customer service and i keep getting the run a round and was told it could take up to 2 weeks to get my money back. My rent is past due and my landlord has started eviction proceedings. I have sent the bank the emails from my landlord and have called everyday to get some assistance in getting my money so i can pay my rent. i dont know what to do. I have reached out on social media. I have called the corporate office. I have small children and have no money to feed my children. My checks are bouncing because my money is stuck in limbo somewhere. but Wells Fargo will not do anything about giving my money back to me.

Consumer Complaint: Went to the ATM drive through on XX/XX/23 XXXX ATM XXXX and withdrew {$300.00}. When the atm was loading and getting ready to dispense the money a message came up congratulating us on being with WF for 21 years. I turned to my mother to tell her we have been with Wells for 21 years when i heard the dispensing door open ( or so i thought ). I turned to grab the money but the dispensing door was closed. I looked around and nothing was on the floor and i was so close to the wall that no one could go and grab it, plus there was a car behind me so they would have noticed. I had turned my head for 5 seconds. In all honesty I never saw the dispensing door open or close I just heard a noise like it had open/close but I never actually saw it. I needed the money at that moment so i had to do a second withdraw from a different account and now I keep getting transactions declined because I need to replace the {$300.00} that I never got but was withdrawn from my account. WF has not reached out or provided an update on this case.

Inaccuracies with original amount of loan, payment history, terms are different. I had only one lease which being reported twice with the same account number but inaccuracies with the items mentioned above. Violation by the credit bureaus and Wells Fargo dealer services reporting inaccurate information that has substantially hurt my score.reported as paid and never late on XXXX and reported as late.

Consumer Complaint: My Wells Fargo account has been open since 2009.I had {$15000.00} in there checking account.Had a direct deposit connected and money was being saved up there.However I recently went in to check it to make sure everything was adding up and there where no funds in there at all.No one has access to the account it is private.Therefore there must be some sort of account glitch or fund glitch.Im not sure but I would like all of my money to be issued back to my account so I can find another bank.I had also been issued a loan of {$20000.00} it was approved and signed by me but the funds never hit the account.So im not sure if the bank is scamming but I want no parts of it.I would like my money returned so that I can find a more reliable bank.

She asked if she could paint a picture of me and I was like " Sure! ". It was super convincing. So she was like I'll send you a check for {$2000.00} but you get {$500.00} and send it like the company I work for the rest. So on XX/XX/XXXX, I asked her some questions just to like to make sure that this was safe and she reassured me that it was she emailed me a check for {$1500.00} and I deposited it. I was convinced that this was safe. So I deposit it none of my finance apps were working to send her " higher ups '' the money on XX/XX/XXXX. Burt today XX/XX/XXXX I thought we could try to XXXX XXXX and that worked today XX/XX/XXXX I get an email from my bank ( wells fargo ) saying that they are closing my account because of a suspected altered check. So I just don't know how to move further and I remember seeing this video for the CFPB. So now here we are and I just don't know how to proceed. So now I'm going down this spiral of what to do.

After countless hours on the phone and visits to the bank in person, ( we were given different information each time ) Wells Fargo failed to honor the check. They are telling him to just get another check!! This is Wells Fargos fault and they will not resolve it satisfactorily. Its caused a lot of wasted time on my sons part, and anguish on mine! Wells Fargo also will not return the original check to us. According to them The Case is CLOSED.
