Consumer Complaint: This complaint is in regards to the Wells Fargo Settlement. I have not been contacted by them regarding this, but I believe that I am one of the customers affected and is due a payment. I did call the Customer Service number ( XXXX ) XXXX today at XXXX. to inquire. I was told that if I am eligible they would contact me. The agent said that there was no way for him to check on it, using my personal information. He did agree to take my phone number in case of follow up. In that regard, I am requesting that a complaint be lodged in order to determine if I am indeed eligible for compensation. The reason why I believe that I am affected by his settlement is : I purchased my home in XX/XX/XXXX. The Mortgager was Wells Fargo. On or around XXXX, I started to have difficulty and fell behind in mortgage payments. I attempted, several times, to obtain a loan modification, without success. I was repeatedly denied attempts to re-work my mortgage. In early XXXX I submitted a payment for all the arrears ( {$3000.00} ). Those funds were returned to me ( not sure why ). I then started receiving notices from an attorney XXXX XXXX, I believe was the name of the law firm ). My only recourse was to file XXXX XXXX and include the house in it, in order to stop the sale. In XX/XX/XXXX, my loan was released to another mortgage company. I have not heard from Wells Fargo since.

I paid that mortgage for a full year until the last month of that refinance year, they dropped me and I had to refinance with a new lender for my mortgage that I had paid on time, with zero late payments for almost 6 straight years.

Consumer Complaint: I mobile deposited a check XX/XX/2023 and a 10 day hold was placed on it. I have worked for the same company for over a yr. during which time i receive a paycheck every 2 weeks and deposit it, with no issue. I have had my account for at least 10 years with a positive and solid balance and never had any issues. I have had a few overdrafts, but this is a PAID service that is offered by the bank, this is not a penalizing issue, this is a servce i PAY for, for which the bank is happy to take my overdraft fees. The reason given for holding my check for 10 days ( an entire pay cycle ) is that i have had overdrafts on my account. This is not a relevant reason to hold my deposit, the check is good, i have deposited at least 25 identical checks with NO ( XXXX ) issues with them. My account is beyond good standing and has been so for at least 10 years, which should be a non-issue as well, the check is good, it should be available in a day. No other factor besides the check being " good '' should factor into holding my deposit. me using a PAY service should not hamper my ability to access funds from my account, unless my account would still be negative AFTER the deposit, which is not the case here, i will be positive over {$3000.00}.

Consumer Complaint: Ok, this goes back to XXXX before and after. We bought our house in XXXX and then Wells Fargo had bought the mortgage quite a few years afterwards. My name was on the deed but we refinanced around XXXX and I was not included on the mortgage because I was at home raising children and not income producing. I became sick in XXXX and my husband and I separated in XXXX. Around XXXX I tried to qualify for the Home Loan Modification Program through the current mortgage company, Wells Fargo. They would say I qualified, then 3 months later said I didn't. This went on for TWO years. They would go back and forth until I was financially drained. I finally got my local XXXX XXXX XXXX involved and eventually we filed an official complaint with the U.S. Department of Treasury. I was given the number by Wells Fargo to the President 's personal assistant, XXXX and told to only deal with him. I still have his number if needed. They finally decided to deny me because they would not recognize the fact the house had been given to me in the divorce but I wasn't on the mortgage. But remember, I was still on the deed. Eventually I could no longer afford it and had to stop making payments on it. Then I got the Foreclosure letter. My ex-husband had to file some sort of abandonment document through the court system because they kept coming after him. Ridiculous. I would still have that house if Wells Fargo would have made right on their promise to do the Home Loan Modification. I lost everything because of Wells Fargo and they haven't bothered to reach out to me with this Class Action Lawsuit. I'm sure they remember me after the Dept. of Treasury incident. I have saved all the files with dates, loan numbers, documentation of phone calls made to them, etc. They are up in the attic and I will get someone to help me retrieve them if you can help me. Consumer Complaint: There was an issue with report where wells fargo reviewed my account and recorded calls. I made payment on my account within the30 days and wells fargo reported late. This was an error because payment was made on time. Also there has been issues where I transfer pmt from my checking to my credit and wells fargo reverses the pmt. This causes issues and risk my account being delinquent when pmt was arranged on time. It looks like the issue was resolved with XXXX but XXXX and XXXX still is reporting as late and that's not accurate for XX/XX/2023 pmt reporting.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I was contacted by a scammer impersonating a Wells Fargo Employee. They stated they were multiple attempts of a wire transfer and my account information was at risk. When I asked " what should I do? ", they informed me that I need to move the sum of {$8200.00} to " XXXX XXXX '' as the operating manager that would escalate the case so my account would be closed and a new debit card would be sent. I fell for the scam as I was in a state of panic and immediately regretted it after. I contacted Wells Fargo directly that same day to ask if my account was all taken care of only to be informed that their logs didn't indicate a recent call with them. I then immediately reported what had happened and asked for my funds to be recovered. I've been waiting XXXX weeks for an update from them and every time I called they didn't have anything to share until today, XX/XX/2023. When I called for the latest update they informed me the case had been closed and they won't recover the funds. I then asked them to reopen the case and escalate it to their executive branch. I'm supposed to hear from a Case Manager in 48 hours, but that's where I currently stand.
