Consumer Complaint: My partner had a checking and savings account at Wells Fargo ( WF ). In XXXX XXXX, he completed and signed the Transfer/Payable on Death beneficiary form that Wells Fargo gave him naming me as the beneficiary on both accounts and hand-delivered to a Wells Fargo branch. He died recently and now Wells Fargo refuses to honor it. Here 's what happened ( I know because I was with him ). He went to the WF branch at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX VA. He asked for the form to designate a payable on death beneficiary for his Wells Fargo checking and savings accounts. Wells Fargo & Company of course being a " community-based financial services company with approximately {$1.00} XXXX in assets '' and " approximately XXXX team members. '' XXXX company, XXXX team for all those financial services. The Wells Fargo employee first gave him the wrong form ( one that was for creating a power of attorney ). He asked again. Eventually, a Wells Fargo employee gave him a form that said it was a Designation of Transfer on Death ( TOD ) Beneficiary form ( it also said it could be Payable on Death ( POD ) ). They insisted it was the correct form. He filled it out with all essential information including checking and savings account information in section 1. The form even says " Beneficiary designations will only apply to the account ( s ) as designated in section 1 of this form. '' He properly identified those accounts in that section. And named me as the primary beneficiary. Next to the box that says, " Primary beneficiary : Individual ( s ) or entity ( ies ) who will receive the funds upon the death of all account owners. '' He dated and signed it. He then hand-delivered the completed, signed form to a Wells Fargo employee , who copied it, gave him back a copy of the form, and said that was all he needed to do. This was in XXXX XXXX XXXX. Note : a diligent search of the Wells Fargo website located no other Designation of Transfer on Death ( TOD ) /Payable on Death ( POD ) Beneficiary form. After my partner died, imagine my shock when I went to a local Wells Fargo branch to report his death, provided his death certificate and the completed TOD/POD form ( dated XXXX ) only to be told they didn't have a record of it, it was the wrong form, and it wasn't valid. The form that Wells Fargo gave him, the form that Wells Fargo said was the right form and when completed and signed, the form that Wells Fargo accepted and said was all he needed to do. Was. not. valid. Please advise how I can get this properly processed and the funds in those accounts transferred. The local branch copied both the death certificate and the completed TOD/POD.

Consumer Complaint: Wellsfargo bank is not giving me a confirmation of debt. The definition of confirmation of debt is wet signature. A bill or statement is not a confirmation of debt. If you can not provide what I am asking for you need to discharge the debt. I, XXXX, XXXX agent to said principle XXXX XXXX Ira hereby accept all titles, rights and interests owed to principle XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX I hereby instruct ceo of this account to apply the principle balance to said amount each and every bill cycle ; If these instructions can not be honored please respond through postal mail giving details of non- acceptable ; if that you have accepted my offer and moving forward also apply the above instructions. By : XXXX, XXXX, Ira Without recourse ucc 1-308 I, : XXXX : XXXX XXXX authorized representative XXXX am sending the coupon of the account summary to Wellsfargo as payment for what I owe. I have recently learned that a coupon is a way of paying according to ucc3-104. I noticed that you have sent me these coupons and ask me to remit them with another check or money order and then you have redeemed both. That is double dipping and is illegal. I am potentially willing to overlook this crime as long as you accept this legal form of payment, so I am sending the payment coupon to be accepted as the payment, per ucc 3-603 ( b ) if tender of payment of an obligation to pay the tender, of payment of an obligation to pay an instrument and the tender is refused, there is discharge to the extent of the amount of the tender of the party having a right of recourse with respect to the obligation to which the tender relates. If you reject the payment coupon or claim to have shred it, I still expect you to follow the law and discharge the debt. Here are some definitions to clarify what I am talking about to state statues if you need a refresher. Instrument : A written legal document such as a contract, lease, deed, will or bond. These instruments are worth their face value so the amount to be discharged will be the amount I have seton the voluchers. If you refuse to accept a negotiable instrument I will send the Irs 3949A and I have enclosed a copy of my fee schedule and I will be entitled to collect accordingly amounts listed on my fee schedule Volcher : a small printed piece of paper that entitles the holder to a discount? Consumer Complaint: I did not get the product/service I paid for. I used a photo retouching service for my sisters wedding photos. They kept giving me the runaround and would ask for more money to make revisions. To this day, they have not refunded me after stating I still have not received the services I paid for and would just like to completely cancel and get my money back. I filed an official chargeback with Wells Fargo since the money came out of my checking account/debit card. Wells Fargo hasnt resolved this issue either.

Consumer Complaint: 7 years ago I was a victim to Wells Fargos banking regulatory rules when they converted my accounts to a fee-based account without my consent. This was after the Feds had caught Wells Fargo for converting accounts to fee based accounts without the account holders knowledge and WF was fined millions. In XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX I received a text from the buyer of my previous home address in XXXX XXXX Florida that she was receiving g mail from Wells Fargo addressed tome. I had given WF my new address in XXXX so I was concerned that mail was going to my previous address. I asked he too [ en the letter and text me a photo of the contents. Turns out the letter was a statement showing Wells had {$1300.00} in an account in my name that they were sending to unclaimed accounts. I filed a formal complaint with WF on XX/XX/XXXX and the banker told me I should receive my funds by check from WF within 10-days. I went into the XXXX XXXX branch on XXXX XXXX. on or about Monday, XX/XX/XXXX and spoke to the bank representitive XXXX. She called their escalation department while I was at her desk and she started a formal review to get WF to release my funds. On XX/XX/XXXX I received an email from WF with a case number : XXXX stating my case would be resolved in ten business days. Today, XX/XX/XXXX, I called the WF enterprise complaints management office at XXXX EST and spoke with their representitive who transferred me to their corporate accounts escalation department representitive. This representitive assured me my money would be forthcoming and that I needed to physically go to the XXXX XXXX branch and speak directly with the bank rep, XXXX. I asked him to please contact XXXX, ensure she was at the branch today, and inform her that I was on my way. He placed me on hold and came crack on the phone a few minutes later and confirmed XXXX was at t eh branch and she would get this issue satisfied. I ask him why he couldnt tell me the status and he said it was confidential and I would need to speak to XXXX in person. I immediately drove to the branch, and met with XXXX. XXXX knew nothing of my conversation with corporate and stated no one had called her. So she got the branch manager involved and I waited for thirty minutes while they attempted to contact the escalation department rep. After a half hour I told them I was leaving and I would be back with the news media. Both XXXX and the branch manager apologized for my continuing inconvenience. This bank is obviously a thief and I need your help in retrieving my monies. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I spoke with a XXXX XXXX who claimed to be the owner of a property that I was interested in. After going to the property and touring it I was interested in applying for it so he gave the information needed to apply and informed me that once I pay the deposit he would take the house off the market. On XX/XX/XXXX I Zelled {$1700.00} to his account as he requested and signed a lease stating that I was now a tenant at his property. Later that evening I received an email from the rental site he used stating that the property he advertised was listed as fraud. I immediately contacted Wells Fargo to let them know I was a victim of a rental scam and they started a claim which was concluded on XX/XX/XXXX that because I chose to send the money it is accurate and that the claim was closed. After speaking with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX department to make sure that I add my case ID to my claim. I even filed a case with the FBI due to this matter.

Consumer Complaint: I have multiple issues with Wells Fargo auto. 1. The main issue is fraud within the financial agreement. this issue has been brought to Wells Fargo attention since XXXX of XXXX Wells Fargo is not listed as the creditor on the financial agreement even though they are the original creditor of this commercial transaction. I have documents provided by XXXX XXXX XXXX that states ; They were were unable to provide financing for this transaction. It also states the dealer did not submit my application to the financial sources. However, on the Financial agreement Wells Fargo Auto was assigned all interest to the contract, But was never mentioned in the contract as the creditor. " see attachments '' 2. Unverifiable agents. Wells Fargo has sent multiple correspondences signed by agents that refuse to use their full legal name on legal documents. I believe this is a violation of Title 15 U.S. Code 45 and Title 18 U.S. Code 1341 and I have filed a complaint with the Florida Attorney General 's Office. Wells Fargo has unlawfully continued to charge my account, refuse to inform the credit bureau of the legal dispute and on XX/XX/XXXX there was breach of peace and Wells Fargo sent a 3rd party to unlawfully repossessed my vehicle XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. yes law enforcement was called " see attachment '' I have never refused to make a payment and I've been in constant communication with Wells Fargo Auto via phone calls and letters. " see attachments '' despite constant communication Wells Fargo and the debt being disputed under the USC Title 15 FDCPA and FCRA refused to adjust the account and has now charged off my account requiring me to pay the full amount
