Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt is not yours
Consumer Complaint: In 2006 I bought a new XXXX XXXX pickup. The " seller and I the buyer '', signed an agreement, that stated, that if at anytime there are " any changes '' to the contract, that it " would only be inforceaible only if both parties. signed it. As per our agreement, we assigned the contract, to WFS Financial, the lender, in accordance to the conditions of the contract with the agreement that WFS FINANCIAL would adhere to all the conditions of our contract. WFS Financial, failed to adhere to the conditions of our contract, which by the contract, conditions, made the contract non- inforceaible which made the contract, void. Then WFS Financial, was purchased by Wachovia Bank, without any " contract with me '' then Wells Fargo Bank, aquired Wachovia Bank, and nobody had any legal contract with me. In contracts, when one of the parties, breaches any of the conditions in the contract, the other party, is no longer liable for any of the contract conditions in the voided contract, the buyer no longer owes anything and the lender '' no longer has any lien rights, in the voided contract. Wells Fargo Bank, after about 15 years of forcibly taking my property the pickup, Wells Fargo Bank only paid me " half '' of the value of the wrongfully taken property. Wells Fargo Bank, had no contract. Wells Fargo Bank, only has paid, half of the amount I paid for the property and Wells Fargo Bank does not even consider paying for all the years I have suffered, because of Wells Fargo Banktaking of property that had, no legal lien on and now they refuse to pay anything because of the taking of property that they had " no right to take '' ....

Issue: Problem with a purchase shown on your statement
Subissue: Card was charged for something you did not purchase with the card
Consumer Complaint: XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, After receiving a message from Wells Fargo to my email, stating that there was possible fraud detected on my credit card. The message listed several declined attempts to use the card at locations in XXXX Florida as well as an ATM transaction for {$450.00} which was approved. I logged into my corresponding account at the bank to confirm that this was a bonified message from the bank and not a phishing attempt. On the Wells Fargo Web Page, I verified that there was a fruadulent cash advance approved for the amount of {$450.00} made in XXXX Florida on XX/XX/2023. The dates these fraudulent this charge and charge attempts took place I was with my family in XXXX XXXX, Fl. area, over XXXX miles away from where this transaction took place. I can corroborate my presence in the XXXX XXXX area with in-store credit card transactions and witnesses. I further confirm that the only credit card I have authorized for this account was in my possession and, therefore, an unauthorized/cloned copy must have been used to make the transactions. I further confirm that I have only used the card for one on-line purchase since I have received it. It has never left my home and is stored in a secure place. It is therefore unlikely the card was cloned. I have contacted Wells Fargo, and they have failed to remove the fraudulent transaction. They closed the investigation stating that I will be financially responsible. They have failed to provide information on their investigation. They seem to have little interest in resolving this dispute and have been quick to assign me the responsibility for their security issue. .

Consumer Complaint: My current Mortgage company XXXX informed me I was paying for insurance as well as my own private insurance. Technically, I should not have. I've reach out to Wells Fargo, XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX to get to the bottom of this problem and so far no one has responded to my email dated XX/XX/XXXX. I purchased my condo XX/XX/XXXX and maintain private insurance up until I moved out XXXX. I rented the property from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX and continue to keep XXXX insurance. XX/XX/XXXX I moved back into the resident and again kept insurance. I request from XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, and XXXX to investigate and do a thorough audit. If they continue to pay insurance to my private insurance, than I am due any payments. I request from Wells Fargo and XXXX XXXX to drop the insurance and I was declined.

Issue: Problem with a purchase shown on your statement
Subissue: Card was charged for something you did not purchase with the card
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 I noticed a charge on my Wells Fargo credit card of {$490.00}. I called the number listed on the charge and was told it was for an internet protection which I did not purchase. I was told that to remove the charge I would have to enter two amounts of {$250.00} and the charge would be deleted. Unknown to me, they had control of my computer and they entered the amount of {$25000.00}. So it appeared on my screen that I had deposited {$25000.00} into my checking account. In order to remove that money I had to send two wire transfers totaling {$25000.00} to an account in XXXX. So I went to the bank and had those wire transfers completed. I did NOT instruct the teller to charge my two credit card accounts. I wanted the money taken from my checking account. Of course there was no {$25000.00} in my checking account. So, without my consent, or even my knowledge, my two credit cards were charged {$25000.00} If the banker had asked me where to get where to get the funds, it would have been apparent it was a scam, but SHE DID NOT ASK. She arbitrarily and without my permission, charged my two accounts. By the time I realized it was a scam, the transfers were already made. I feel I was defrauded twice : once by the scammers and once by the bank. I have spoken with the bank on several occasions and have sent a dispute letter. And have filed a police report. Wells Fargo has determined there was no fraud.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I received a text message from Wells Fargo in regards to my credit card being breached. We resolved this issue by getting me a new credit card, which I received on the XXXX. Then on XX/XX/2023 I received a phone call from ( XXXX ), who appeared to be again Wells Fargo. This communication felt warranted due to the recent handlings with my card breach. This fraudulent caller, whom was under the contacts name and number of Wells Fargo, asked me about some recent activity to my business checking and savings accounts. This call lasted an hour and fifteen minutes long ; then I was told all was being handled and I would be contacted shortly by Wells Fargo when it was settled. Three days later, on Friday XX/XX/XXXX, I checked my accounts. I saw that XXXX dollars was missing from my checking account as well as XXXX dollars missing from my savings account, plus transaction fees. At this time, I tried to call Wells Fargo Fraud Department but it was XXXX pm and they were closed for the weekend. After what seemed like an eternity of a weekend, on the morning of Monday XX/XX/XXXX I went to the local Wells Fargo branch where I was moved along to multiple different agents before being able to put in two claims. I went on vacation and Wells Fargo never contacted me. On approximately XX/XX/XXXX I received two letters in the mail stating that the missing funds were gone and non-returnable ; the claims were then considered closed. The next day XX/XX/XXXX I went to my local Wells Fargo again where at this time the claims were escalated by the branch manager while I was there and I was told someone would contact me in 24 hours. After 24 hrs. I called them and I was told it was my fault for being scammed and there was no more they could do. Please note : the Number that called me XXXX XXXX when called does not go to a real Wells Fargo department. It goes to Someone pretending to be with them. Also, the real Wells Fargo sent me a text message that I never responded to but they let the wire go through anyway without my approval or disapproval.
