Consumer Complaint: Our CD interest check was mailed by XXXX in XXXX of XXXX and we never received it. We filed a fraud report with XXXX and found our check was cashed at Wells Fargo. We learned through XXXX that the check was never endorsed. We can not get our interest check of {$520.00} until Wells Fargo pays XXXX. Nothing is happening since we filed the fraud report in XXXX XXXX. I reported this to MN Attorney General of this problem. They sent Wells Fargo a letter regarding this fraud. Wells Fargo send us a letter and said they looked into this complaint and due to the privacy act they can't give us any information and are closing this complaint. This is a federal matter. Someone opened our mail and cashed our check. Neither XXXX or Wells Fargo will give us our interest money that we have already claimed our XXXX taxes.

" Proof of Payment '' to an American Express account made by " XXXX XXXX '' in amount of {$4500.00} ( attached ). Post filing fraud complaint with Wells FargoXXXX XXXX, Wells Fargo claimed this is a legitimate payment and no further action taken. This is in direct violation of Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) section 1005.6 Liability of consumer for unauthorized transfers. XXXX records shows I have no American Express detailed in XXXX XXXX contrary to what Wells Fargo claims. XXXX shows no open American Express accounts belonging to me for 20 years. Wells Fargo claims ( ref XXXX ) the IP address originates from Nevada thus a valid transaction. Wells Fargo claim using IP address covers all Nevada and does not refute their own proof of payment facts that are shown in their records. 1. Who is " XXXX XXXX XXXX who made this transaction as seen in proof of payment? 2. Why is the address shown on proof of payment over 20 years old and no longer valid? 3. Show me which account that was paid to American Express. I've contacted American Express and they have no record of this payment. 4. American Express is not listed i n my bill pay ( per Wells Fargo claims ) for decades.

Consumer Complaint: An account I follow ( XXXX XXXX ) on XXXX raved about quick returns on XXXX XXXX she did with ( XXXX XXXX ) and I started a conversation with her to invest {$1000.00}. This person has a fake website with login & all. The received the money & confirmed that they have traded for bitcoins- after about 12hrs they asked for more money {$500.00} to upgrade brokerage account so as I can withdraw profits out of it. I sent {$500.00} as a charge ti upgrade brokerage account. After couple of hours they were like, the trade they bought for me had low signal and would not actualize into profits if the signals not upgraded and I would lose the original {$1000.00} too. If I dont send additional {$3000.00}. I was like no way im sending {$3000.00}. Then the person on other side like okay you pay half & Ill take care of the rest. And after sone conversation I sent XXXX XXXX broken into {$800.00} & {$700.00} payments. And post that they tried to hack my XXXX & I refused to use any link sent by them. Reported to the bank within 2 days.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased a home and obtained a mortgage from Wells Fargo in XXXX. I was up to date on payments until XXXX. At that point I contacted Wells Fargo who suggest a loan modification. After working with several of their employees over the course of the next year they were still not able to modify the loan and reopen the mortgage. The next steps in order to do so were to fill out a 10+ page form and fax it to their Loan Modification department in Iowa . I did this several times and upon receiving a fax transmission confirmation I contacted Wells Fargo. I kept getting the same line, we have a new person working with you, and that person would tell me they didn't receive random pages of the fax. I did this so many times that I decided to go into a Wells Fargo and have them fax it themselves. I still got the same response over and over after visiting several Wells Fargo branches who sent the fax for me with a XXXX percent success transmission log confirmation each time. Eventually Wells Fargo told me that they foreclosed the home. I have been pretty much homeless ever since even though I had the money to pay for the mortgage, and had found a renter who moved into my home which also covered the costs without my income. A real estate agent for Wells Fargo eventually came to the home and forced my renter out of the home illegally. I have been unable to recover from the damages I have gone through due to this loan modification that I was suggested that only made it so I was caught in a vicious cycle and caused the mortgage to close during the process and even though I had money to pay the mortgage was sent in circles until they took my home.

I was Primary care giver. 2 days after her death at home we discover my wife had XXXX XXXX. Wells Fargo was made aware of this. Also, XXXX a hoarder. It took us a while to find all the documents. I contacted Wells Fargo when they informed me that the fixed rate would be changed to an adjustable rate. I needed the documentation for the estate. It took NJ Superior Court A while to process the paperwork. I have tried to work Wells Fargo them to get this sorted out. XXXXEMRA say Wells Fargo has not supplied the document requests- Wells Fargo States they have no active case ( but found one request doc when I pushed them on it ) ERMAXXXX states it a Wells Fargo Issue - Wells Fargo states it a ERMAXXXX Issue Applied for support via Wells Fargo to stop foreclosure. Asked for support via phone and mail - asked for payout and refinance information. DENIED I made a good faith payment of the original amount with no response. As Per DUAL-TRACKING I submitted a complaint that was denied even though I was working with them on this issue- that's an estate - and HAF had contacted them, but Wells Fargo never responded. Offered Short sale on XXXX XXXX XXXX on my parents ' estate. Wells Fargo stated in the letter XXXX that I am not available for any adjustments and that a SHORT SALE is their only solution. OWED - ESTATE - XXXX ( Wells Fargo )- XXXX XXXX NJ - ( Tax ) XXXX - TAX PAID Sale - ESTATE Home - XXXX - low ( Lawer/Realtor ) Wells Fargo wants to sell the home for the amount owed XXXX - will continue with Foreclosed and Sheif sale for that amount. I have had 5 Wells Fargo XXXX XXXX XXXX. The paperwork they send out only has a 5-digit number- all extensions are 10 digits. Stated they are aware of the issue- not fixed. None of them were responsive. The new REP I have told me the others no longer work there or are out. Promised to get back to me - no response - 5 calls in the last 3 days to the Rep. Wells Fargo has NOT given me a payoff/mitigation number. Even asking for it many times. I am willing to pay off if mitigated. Wells Fargo has NOT addressed my application with HAF or helped in any way. Wells Fargo has NOT followed the Dual-Tracking or communication rules set by federal law. Wells Fargo has denied any mitigation but a short sale for below the home 's value. Wells Fargo has not as stated by Federal law responded in a timely matter and provide a single point of contact. Wells Fargo has not notified me of my " loss mitigation options '' even though I have been in contact with them. Wells Fargo has not given me " direct and ongoing access to servicing personal. '' Wells Fargo has not given me a " Fair review Process. '' and are steering me to a favorable to Wells Fargo. ( Short Sale ) Wells Fargo will not acknowledge that I have made a " good faith '' payment. Wells Fargo has not responded to my request for Payoff/Mitigation balance. They sent me a check for my remaining unused balance of {$320.00}, mailed on XX/XX/. I did not receive this check, when I inquired, they notified me that the check had been cashed fraudulently by other individual. I received a 2nd due payment from them by mail/check for {$130.00} on XX/XX/, which I cashed to my bank XXXX. The payor bank is Wells Fargo. I do have their routing number ( XXXX ) /account number ( XXXX ) from the second check that I received by mail. They informed me the check number was # XXXX. As far as I know, they have not submitted an investigation and will not tell me the bank who cashed the check ( depository bank ). They have instructed me to notify my postmaster, and I have submitted a service request with the United States Postal Inspection Service ( USPIS ) regarding mail theft.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, I applied for a credit card through Wells Fargo and was illegally denied. After being denied, I send an adverse action letter to Wells Fargo on the XXXX of XXXX. I have yet to still hear from them in regards to my demands for remedy. As per 15 U.S.C 1691, and 12 CFR 1002.4, a consumer can not be denied credit based on any aspect of a credit transaction. FRA 16 Part 2 states that my application was collateral security in a credit transaction. I was not granted the use of my credit, but my credit was used and there was unauthorized use of my Personal Private Information. 18 USC 8 defines what other securities are in regards to the US debt. 15 USC 1431 defines the duties and powers of banks. The power of a bank is to BORROW. 15 USC 1602 ( J ) defines an 'open ended " credit plan. I will also send a Notice of Default to Wells Fargo for not responding to my Adverse Action letter or my demands for remedy. The only form of communication that I will consent to is written. Further non-compliance will result in a Notice of Fault & a suit filed in US District Court.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I opened a new business checking account at Wells Fargo ( where I have been a member for XXXX years ). On XX/XX/XXXX, I then transferred {$34000.00} to that new account, from my XXXX business account ( which is the reason I opened the new account ). I have the confirmation from XXXX XXXX XXXX ) that the transfer was from XXXX from Wells Fargo XXXX However, on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX received multiple emails and notifications that Wells Fargo flagged me for fraud because the check XXXX sent had the recipient addressed to " XXXX '' from " XXXX. '' I was informed that they had frozen my personal accounts at Wells Fargo ( where I have ~ $ XXXX unrelated to this transfer ) and that they are closing all my personal accounts. In addition, they are holding the funds sent by XXXX and will not start the transfer back for XXXX days at which time the transfer could take up to XXXX weeks. I was told to go to the bank and show them my transaction in the XXXX app and that I could also pull cash from if I was in person. I spent XXXX hours at Wells Fargo branch with customer service trying to help and as I showed them everything they said they needed. Wells Fargo won't release any of my funds without a statement from XXXX, however, I can not get a statement until XX/XX/XXXX ( they say they're holding my funds until XX/XX/XXXX ). When I asked what happens after they close my account, they told me it would take up to a month to get my money that is in my account. Wells Fargo XXXX department is unable to show me or the customer service proof that the transaction listed the recipient as " XXXX. '' XXXX XXXX XXXX their XXXX they see the transaction went to Wells Fargo. Today ( XX/XX/XXXX ), I received a notice from another bank of mine ( Wealthfront ) that Wells Fargo is reversing a deposit I made to them on XX/XX/XXXX. All in all, Wells Fargo is now holding {$75000.00} of my personal funds and telling me I won't be able to access them until XXXX. This is ALL of my cash, which means I have no access to my own money for more than a month ( most likely XXXX ). The Customer Service person at the branch is filing an internal complaint, but I am at a loss for what else to do. How is a company able to freeze my funds for XXXX days with XXXX notice, even when I've provided proof that I did make the transaction? I'm unable to access even {$100.00} to pay for food.

With that being said they closed my bank account because I was unable to pay them back within the time frame they needed it. They were ok with taking and cashing XXXX checks XXXX checks at one point but when I couldnt pay back XXXX they harassed day and night and now I no longer have a bank account and can not open one up because of this! Its not fair!
