Consumer Complaint: I have filed numerous complaints in the past year and Ocwen has never tried to resolve my issues to my satisfactory. They have paid my condo association over {$25000.00}. which they should not have and added it to my escrow which I never had an escrow account to begin with and charging me almost 8 % interest on top of that. They are now threatening me with foreclosure and this issue has not been resolved. The federal government is still allowing them to rip people off with no repercussion. They have been sued by XXXX states for XXXX of dollars and still they continue to operate as they always have. They have sent me false invoices through to XXXX which, which in itself is a federal offense and punishable by law with fines up to {$10000.00} per each offense. THEY NEED STOPPED!

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen Financial held {$75000.00} of flood insurance proceeds in an escrow account until I was able to sell the property in a short-sale. Once the short-sale was completed, they did not inform their subsidiary of these escrow funds, and Ocwen issued a XXXX form showing a " discharged debt '' of {$100000.00}, when it should only have been {$25000.00}.

Consumer Complaint: I have been working on a loan modification with Ocwen financial for over a year now each time they tell me my file is complete for processing but when we are to finalize any type of agreement there is ALWAYS an issue " missing '' documentation " expired '' signatures which I realize are STALL tactics on Ocwens part~ The latest excuse is that a letter from my boss WITH my tax returns AND a XXXX are NOT sufficient proof regarding a stipend my employer pays me each month~ our Mortgage was held by GMAC up until a few years ago where our mortgage payment jumped up close to {$450.00} a month with NO explaination as to how this new number was calculated AND there are " insurance '' premiums tacked on to my mortgage that I NEVER SIGNED FOR OR REQUESTED! And as of last week my husband is unemployed and no longer has proof of income ( which Ocwen always rejected his pay stubs from his employer anyway Its ALWAYS an excuse with Ocwen. I recently started researching into this company and have come to find that they stall on most modifications and are happy to pay the fines involved as they fare much better financially by screwing strapped homeowners around and paying the fines than running their business ethically! There have been XXXX ( im number XXXX ) NJ consumer complaints against Ocwen in the last year ( XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX XXXX. My credit which has been pristine is now totally destroyed and I am in grave fear of losing my home.

Consumer Complaint: Can you help me or tell me who I can contact for help? My husband andI are 3 months behind in our mortgage payments to OCWEN. Wecontacted them for a loan modification. Yesterday we received a trialperiod modification that expires in 8 days. We were told what our newpayments would be, which are only {$40.00} less than our current paymentsare but they did not give us any other information about the terms of themodification. We were supposed to approve these new terms blindly in8 days ( by XXXX XXXX ) without any idea of what the new terms would be. Are they supposed to give us the written terms with the trial paymentletter? Because they did n't. My husband called OCWEN yesterday evening and asked about theterms of the modification. OCWEN said that we would have the sameinterest rate but they were going to add another 13 years to our loan tomake it a 40 year loan. The new payment would be {$1300.00}. For a {$40.00} reduction in monthly payment, we would have to pay an extra 13years of mortgage payments at {$1300.00} per month, or {$15000.00} peryear, totaling {$200000.00} in extra payments to reduce our mortgagepayment {$40.00} per month! Our outstanding loan is only {$140000.00}. Is this legal? Can they really consider that to be assistance? They'renot helping us, they are helping themselves. I think they want toforeclose on our house because we have equity. They are telling usthis is our only option. When we asked about the XXXX insettlement funds, we got the run around. We were told that we weren'tflagged for that money and that money was used for people who hadalready been foreclosed upon. I told her that was untrue, that only aportion of that went to people who were foreclosed already and that therest was earmarked for current customers underwater and/or havingdifficulties. She continued to give me the run around and was n't beinghelpful at all. When I finally asked for a supervisor, she put me on holdfor so long that I finally hung up. She never called back. I 'm sure sheleft me on hold to intentionally avoid discussing the settlement fundswith me. Is there anybody who can help us? Thank you

Consumer Complaint: My loan was modified XXXX XXXX by OCWEN Loan Servicing in the amount of {$49000.00}. This amount was divided in XXXX over the next XXXX years beginning in XX/XX/XXXX making XX/XX/XXXX year XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX year XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX year XXXX. The agreement was contingent upon my not missing more than XXXX payments, I have made all payments on time or before time. In XX/XX/XXXX I receive a XXXX for {$33000.00}. I have conversed with OCWEN XXXX times When I called OCWEN XXXX XXXX the said I will receive a new XXXX for {$16000.00} as the loan modification began in XX/XX/XXXX. Not having received the new XXXX I called XXXX XXXX and spoke with XXXX # XXXX who said they ( OCWEN XXXX did n't mail me the {$16000.00} in XXXX instead it was mailed early XX/XX/XXXX therefore XXXX deduction is not available. I asked him about the modification contract I have in hand dated XXXX and that it states the modification starts in XX/XX/XXXX and that it clearly states the XXXX year being XXXX, he would not answer. I also have my XX/XX/XXXX monthly statements that show the total reduction yet he would not acknowledge ; he kept repeating the " XXXX charge '' was per IRS guidelines but would n't discuss why the contract/modification starts in XX/XX/XXXX. In good faith I held up my part of the modification by making every payment on time. Now I have to pay taxes on something I should not have to. My Account # is XXXX. I have not contacted an attorney yet.

Consumer Complaint: I have not received my billing statement since XXXX XXXX. The statements are not available online either. Because of this I did n't get any notice that my escrow has increased. I contacted them on XXXX and XXXX. However, I 'm still not getting my billing statements. On XXXX, they sent me a bunch of estimates they made on XXXX, for what I will have to pay on XXXX. However, these are not close to being accurate. On XXXX, I called them XXXX about this. The XXXX time I called on XXXX, I requested the supervisor. After waiting 30min, they told me the supervisor will call me back within 24 hrs. I never received a call from the supervisor. When i called on XXXX, I discussed another issue I have with a XXXX account. They took out extra amount from my escrow. Also, the XXXX they sent me has an incorrect Mortgage Insurance premiums section. They will have to resend that to the IRS.
