Consumer Complaint: I received my annual escrow account disclosure statement dated XX/XX/XXXX. I had several questions. XXXX pertaining to shortage in escrow of {$1200.00} and the other pertaining to flood insurance being escrowed. I was surprised that I was short so much since in XX/XX/XXXX, I received a refund of {$600.00} due to an overage. When I called and spoke to someone, I did not get a clear answer. They put me through to a specialist. In speaking with her, she informed me that this statement was not correct and on XX/XX/XXXX another statement was generated. I do n't understand how the numbers could change in 10 days, not in my favor. So now, I am questioning whether they are not accurately accounting for the money I pay into escrow. I also noticed that they are escrowing for flood insurance. The property is a townhouse and there is a master policy covering the building. I chose to purchase my own policy covering the interior of the unit and this should not be escrowed. I was told that they did not have any record of the association master policy. I obtained a copy of it, forwarded it to Ocwen. Now I 'm being told that they are not honoring the coverage provided. The person that was helping me at Ocwen told me she was going to talk with the insurance department, and I have not heard back from her. I have been told by several people in the mortgage and insurance industry that there are many complaints about Ocwen and I want to make sure that they are handling my escrow account in the correct manner.

Consumer Complaint: I applied for a modification with Ocwen loan servicing on XXXX/XXXX/2015. I sent them a letter from my new employer stating what my new income would be and that I started my new job on XXXX/XXXX/2015. I did not receive my first paystub until XXXX/XXXX/2015. They sent my authorized 3rd party a letter stating that they were going to go through with the foreclosure sale on XXXX/5/2015 because I was not going to be able to provide them another paystub till after the foreclosure sale. I submitted this review almost a month prior to this sale and I have new income that they are not willing to review. Please help to allow for my review to retain my home!

Consumer Complaint: My father passed away XXXX/XXXX/2015 and the mortgage company OCWEN Loan Servicing continues to add fees to his account, {$30.00} to tell me how much top pay off the mortgage, {$19.00} to pay over the phone. They tell me they are a business so they can charge fees ... ..Charging fees on an account of a deceased person is unethical.

Consumer Complaint: After discharge of a chapter XXXX bankruptcy, where the XXXX lien was stripped by the court, due to the declined value of the property, the XXXX lien holder filed a motion ( subsequently granted by the judge ) to re-open the bankruptcy as they felt they had not been notified of the intent to strip the lien. This in all likelihood was due to the XXXX lienholder failing to record the lien timely. However, i was not notified by the XXXX lienholder attorney that a motion was filed. The mortgage company never notified me of any issues, the mortgage company 's counsel never served me, I found out about the motion through the title company while trying to close the sale of my house. The sale has now fallen through due to issues with a clear title, so now i have not only lost the sale, but am also responsible for the buyers appraisal and inspection fees.

Consumer Complaint: I received a loan modification from OCWEN and have made all the payments before the due date but they have assessed a late charge for every payment and have ignored my requests to have them removed even after I provided bank records. I assume they have reported the late payments to the credit bureaus.

Consumer Complaint: Item XXXX : The most recent payment history that I received from Ocwen on XXXX/XXXX/2015 shows significant variances in the principle balance over a very short period of time. Example of the variances are as XXXX Principal balance $ XXXX Principal balance $ XXXX Principal balance $ XXXX Principal balance $ XXXX Principal balance $ XXXX $ XXXX XXXX : Escrow balances on the payment history shows significant balance variances all shown on XXXX/XXXX/2015 of the report. The balance varies from a high balance of {$3600.00} to a low balance of {$560.00} all in XXXX day. The variance is {$3000.00}. Payments in the amount of {$1800.00} were made out of escrow for property taxes and home owners insurance payments. A reasonable person examining the payment history that Ocwen provided would not be able to determine whether the account balances on the mortgage are correct. The payment history provided by Ocwen reveals numerous accounting irregularities suspense adjustments, account balance reversals and variances that are not standard accounting practices or simple clerical errors and may constitute violations of both RESPA, CFPB rules and laws, or fraud. To date I have been unable to obtain satisfactory responses to my Ocwen complaints from the Ombudsman, Relationship Manager, or any entity within Ocwen.

Consumer Complaint: Years ago, my mortgage was sold to Ocwen Loan Servicing , LLC . On XXXX XXXX, 2014, I received an official letter from Ocwen Loan Servicing , LLC confirming my successful enrollment in its Automatic Clearing House ( ACH ) program. This letter was in response to recent efforts intended to ensure payment of my monthly mortgage while I was on international travel beginning XXXX XXXX, 2014, and without access to regular mail or telecommunications. Upon my return to California on XXXX XXXX, 2014, I checked my credit score using the mobile application " XXXX XXXX '' as I regularly do. It was then discovered that my credit score had dropped significantly. Further investigation resulted in the following discovery : Immediately, I contacted the company to resolve the issue. After literally hours of miscommunication and misunderstanding with the company 's horrendous XXXX-based call center, it was discovered that, contrary to what was stated in their official letter written to me, Ocwen Loan Servicing , LLC had failed to enroll me in their ACH program. It was also discovered that the company had failed to notify me of this failure. It was admitted that the company had made no attempt to notify me of the failure by regular mail, electronic mail, or telephone. Fully admitting their blunder, Ocwen Loan Servicing , LLC agreed to wave all associated late fees. Further representing my level of responsibility and good faith, I then paid the entire remaining three-month balance in full during the same conversation. Still, somehow, this catastrophic malpractice resulted in the reporting of a 60 day late-payment notice to the XXXX major credit bureaus. I pleaded with Ocwen to contact the XXXX major credit bureaus and remove the unjust blemish from my credit score. I was told to submit a case to their credit reporting department, which I did. This process was painfully inefficient and wildly confusing. Two-weeks later, I finally received a thick packet of fine print ultimately explaining that Ocwen was refusing to remove the credit blemish. It is unjust that XXXX be subject to the incompetence and deceit of a company for which they had no choice of the matter. This is especially true when concerning a repulsive and scandalous company like Ocwen Loan Servicing, which has been subject to XXXX dollars in fines as the result of multiple lost lawsuits for blatantly lying to and deceiving the public.

Consumer Complaint: I have an escrow account with my mortgage. I received a cancellation notice of my homeowners insurance and called the escrow dept and they stated they had no record they were to pay the insurance. I had slipped through the cracks\!! They ended up paying XXXX annual premiums. Then my property taxes were due and I was assured my taxes would be paid. However, it created a major deficient in my escrow account. During that period, they did an escrow review and notified me XX/XX/XXXX, my payment was increased {$100.00} in XX/XX/XXXX- not even XXXX days notice. My payment does not need to be increased. It was only because of their error the mess was created. Their mistake and I am penalized. Then I received another notice my payment would be increased {$100.00} in XXXX, 2015 to correct the escrow account. The insurance company is to return the overpayment to me but I have not received it. As soon as I receive it, I will correct the deficit on the escrow account. In the meantime, the company has sent me the statement for XXXX, 2015 adding an additional payment of {$45.00} I presume is for the escrow account. I am informed that when the deficit amount is brought current, I can request to eliminate the escrow account which I plan to do. But what do I have to pay until then? Not my mistake and yet I have to be penalized. Customers who have not missed a payment nor been late with any payments, should not be treated this way. They violated the rules and are trying to make themselves look blameless and blame the customer.

Consumer Complaint: I decided to buy a home in XXXX XXXX. By XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I was signing my XXXX mortgage paperwork. I had requested to SC XXXX XXXX ( who sold me the house ) that my payment not be over {$600.00} but it was {$800.00} w/a promise that I could reduce that after a year. A year later I find out I have a balloon payment. I filed bankruptcy. I paid that off in 9 months. My mortgage kept going up. I applied for and was put on a HAMP. My insurance went up after XXXX claim. I got a new insurance carrier. My mortgage payments continued to go up. I tried desperately to work with OCWEN who has my loan but to no avail. They have charges on my account they wo n't explain. I have asked why my mortgage keeps going up. They said rates go up and escrow is short. My insurance premium was less than {$1000.00} & is now {$2600.00} a year. Coverage is {$240000.00}. My house is worth less than {$69000.00}. My payoff on my mortgage is {$65000.00}. I have requested, since XXXX XXXX, to speak to my " relationship manager '' but keep being told they are busy and not able to assist me. I submitted paperwork, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, for a Short-Sale because I do n't know what else to do. But now they are saying the process will take several days which means I will go right into foreclosure. The realtor I have for the short-sale talked to them right after I did and was told I CALLED AND REQUESTED TO CHANGE MY APPOINTMENT! I then told her how they have told me several times they have no record of me calling! I went online and found out they have several lawsuits filed against them for the very things I am complaining about. I contacted my states attorney general 's office and they told me to file a complaint. My home loan started with XXXX, then Homeward, then AHMSI, and now with Ocwen. Ideally I want to keep my home. I have lived here almost 9 years. But realistically I can not afford to stay here as long as my payments keep going up. In the meantime a short 3 weeks after I moved in the bathroom tiles started falling off ; noticed the air did not work upstairs nor in the XXXX bedrooms ; nails coming up through the carpeting ; was supposed to repair siding and XXXX windows and remove metal spikes but did not! They sent to property managers ( XXXX came XXXX ) who promised to fix things but they did not follow through. To top it all off : The agency I work for has not given me a cost of living raise in 5 years. So while all my necessities go up my pay does not to the point my pay has dwindled due to health insurance and taxes going up! Is there a complaint again SC XXXX XXXX? Is there a complaint against the insurance company XXXX/XXXX? I need help please and thank you. I appreciate your time!

I am being rejected due to Ocwen reporting incorrect information to XXXX and they have negelected there resposibility to provide me the borrower the payment history or even proof XXXX balance. They outright lie every time. From XXXX XXXX until XXXX XXXX they have told me I would receive documentation by e-mail within XXXX business days. I am still waiting.
