Consumer Complaint: We have a mortgage with Ocwen Loan Servicing. We have been attempting to get a loan modification with them for more then 2 months now. We have sent them all the paperwork they require but everytime they call us they say something is missing. Then when we send them what they ask for they say something else is missing even though we ask them when we call if there is anything else required and they say no. The customer service reps have repeatedly lied to us saying things like we have not received this documentation so then when we email it they then say oh yeah we did get that but something is missing from it even though it is exactly what they requested.

Consumer Complaint: I attempted to file a complaint with OCWEN regarding late charges. My account has over XXXX in late charges and the rep who answered the phone showed no urgency nor did he seem to care it was a complaint. I 'm disputing the late fees, it is excessive and unfair. OCWEN and GMAC has waived fees for other customers and I should be treated the same and fairly. I am asking that OCWEN reduce the amount of late charges!

Consumer Complaint: My last statement from Ocwen Bank is dated XXXX XXXX,2015. Today is XXXX XXXX, 2015. When I called them today I was told, because of 'technical problems ', statements were not sent out in XXXX or XXXX but payments are to be made anyway. If payments are delinquent or late there will be fees levied against the 'offenders ''. Since Ocwen is a debt collector I am concerned they will use this as an excuse to foreclose on some home owners. I personally know someone who has just received a loan modification, his acceptance of the new agreement is shown by his next payment. I am concerned they will use this as an excuse to negate their agreement. Not everyone would catch this behavior. If this really was a 'technical problem ' then there should be a grace period for those affected by it. This is the XXXX time in as many years that Ocwen has not sent me a statement. Please check up on Ocwen to see how many people this 'technical problem ' has harmed and how much money in fees this 'technical problem ' has netted Ocwen.

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen loan servicing assumed my mortgage roughly 2 years ago. When they assumed the loan, I had a payment trailing due to my husband losing his job after a XXXX related to his XXXX XXXX. I have tried multiple times since then to resolve the issue. Ocwen will only offer me loan modification and that is not likely due to my current credit issues. I have paid extra to Ocwen but they hold the extra that is paid and do not apply it. Currently there is {$350.00} sitting somewhere and not being applied to the mortgage ( see attached pictures ). Ocwen has also charged me fees such as {$25.00} to come to my home to place a note on my door stating to call them because of a late payment ( payment that was not paid when they assumed the loan from XX/XX/XXXX ). When I called them about this issue they stated that they need to make sure that the property is still occupied. I demanded that this stop due to the fact that I was making a monthly payment to them every month and had tried to resolve the issue multiple times. It did stop at that point. In XX/XX/XXXX, my husband and I were forced to file bankruptcy due to him still having issues and being unemployed. I have been making my mortgage every month and intended to keep my home. Ocwen has filed paperwork stating that I have not made a mortgage payment to them since XX/XX/XXXX, though I have the bank statements and cleared checks to prove otherwise. This company is fraudulently attempting to foreclose and will work toward a resolution. They refuse to give a forebearance and place that payment at the end of the loan. They have only offered modification which I have explained I do not need. I can afford to make the payment but I can not come up with the over {$2000.00} in overdue and fees that they state that I owe. In XX/XX/XXXX, they refused to accept a payment from me because I was in Chapter XXXX even though I called to make a payment to them. After much run around, I was finally able to obtain an address to mail payments to and began sending my monthly payment to the address that I found. When I send the payments, it takes over XXXX weeks to clear and they are stating that they are not receiving those payments.

Consumer Complaint: Summary : The issue is we are trying to get an accurate accounting of our mortgage in order to payoff the XXXX loan on our resident. We are not getting the complete accounting. Detail : We have a XXXX loan that started in XX/XX/XXXX. Matured in XX/XX/XXXX. We started negotiating with the lender, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) to pay off. While this negotiation was going on, we were making our regular monthly payments. This went on for a couple of years. Then they decided to refinance it and gave us another loan. When they sent the new loan documents to us, we saw that the new loan amount was too high. Then we received from a law firm a small check for a class action pay off from XXXX wrong doings. We did not accept the refinancing offer that they offered us. We managed to collect the money from other sources to pay off this loan. We asked them to give us a complete accounting of this loan. They immediately transfer the servicing of this loan to another company named Ocwen. They stopped accepting our monthly payment. We have been trying to get an accurate accounting of this loan ever since. We still have not received a complete accounting of this loan. We have the funds ready and sitting in an account for the past 5 years. And still no resolution on this loan. The loan balance is suspected to be about {$180000.00}. They would like to payoff of {$210000.00}.

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen told me for months that they only needed my 2013 tax returns to complete the package for assistance. When I submitted them to Ocwen, they change the requirement to submit a new request. I have submitted a new request with all items needed yet I get emails saying nothing is submitted. Its taken XXXX years or more for Ocwen to provide assistance and they are indeed difficult to help struggling home owners.
