Consumer Complaint: I sent a wire to completely pay off my morgage with Ocwen to their bank ( XXXX XXXX ) using the routing and account number they provided me in XXXX 2014. They stated that the name didnt match the account and XXXX XXXX refused to give me my money back and Ocwen has bullied and intimidated me ( an XXXX woman ) into continuing to make payments and refuses to apply the {$4300.00} to my mortgage balance. I am sick of being tortured and taken advantage of by Ocwen, they are truly an evil corportation that apaprently enjoys bullying and swindling XXXX women out of their money.

Consumer Complaint: I found out I was going to be out for XXXX surgery. I would be out fo for 3 months. I was able to contact my creditors and have payments reduced r for this period of time do to XXXX only covering 65 % of my salary. Ocwen, my mortgage holder, gave me a hard time about this, barely understanding tanding them, she said she would send a form to fill out and it would be reviewed for consideration. form received and sent back. I did not hear anything from them so we struggled with the the full mortgage payment. For a company who says they will work with you it seems like smoke and mirrors. no one else had a problem adjusting for me. I I t seems iam held hostage for a medical problem that I had no control of. Can this be removed from my credit report so I can move on? Thanks for consideration.

Consumer Complaint: I sent to Ocwen Loan Servicing an early payment on XXXX/XXXX/2015 to be applied to my currently outstanding principle. I found out it was n't applied the date Ocwen received the payment, XXXX/XXXX/15, but was applied to XXXX/XXXX/2015 due date instead. I asked for the correction and the earliest day they can apply it to was the next due date, XXXX/XXXX/2015. This practice is consistent every time I make early payment, 3 times so far. As interest is accrue on a daily basis, why ca n't my payment be applied to my outstanding principle the date payment is received? This practice is unfair and cost consumer money. I 'm not happy and I wish something can be done to fix this practice at Ocwen Loan Servicing LLC .

Consumer Complaint: Please accept this as a formal complaint against Ocwen Loan Servicing , LLC for failure to abide by reasonable credit reporting standards to fix the credit errors. It is unfair and deceptive practice of OCWEN to request all necessary information for their investigation, and to still have our compliant as an unresolved matter. The original submission of our complaint to Ocwen was on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and Ocwen made the first day of the investigation, effective XXXX once it was taken over by a different department, Office of Consumer Ombudsman at Ocwen. It has now taken 57 days and the issue is still unresolved. Please note my written request, per their instruction, was submitted XXXX/XXXX/XXXX ; as of today, XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, I have yet to receive a resolution from Ocwen. For your reference, please note the following : On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I purchased a single family property located at : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX, XXXX # XXXX with a first loan in the amount of {$430000.00} through XXXX XXXX XXXX Mortgage and a second loan with XXXX XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$100000.00}. Approximately one month later after funding the loan, XXXX XXXX sold the servicing rights to XXXX Mortgage which was subsequently sold to GMAC in or around XXXX. GMAC filed for bankruptcy and the remaining assets were acquired by Ocwen in or around XXXX including my loan, account number # XXXX. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I short sold the property located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX ( Ocwen 's records show XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX, and should say " XXXX '' ) ; however, this did not report accurately on my credit report and it was found that as of XXXX XXXX, XXXX, the balance of the second loan is still reflected on my credit report. My wife and I are currently in the process of obtaining a full conditional approval for a mortgage loan through XXXX XXXX XXXX Mortgage. Due to the fact that Ocwen is still on my credit report, we have not received the approval and this is negatively impacting my XXXX score as the balance shows unpaid. I escalated the matter to Ocwen 's Office of the Consumer Ombudsman on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and have provided all legal and recorded documentation indicating that as of XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I am no longer responsible for this property. A copy of The Substitute of Trustee & Deed of Full Reconveyance filed XXXX XXXX, XXXX with the County of XXXX XXXX by XXXX XXXX XXXX followed by the Full Reconveyance filed XXXX XXXX, XXXX with the County of XXXX XXXX by XXXX XXXX XXXX Mortgage have all been provided and are in possession of Ocwen. To help speed the resolution process, I also provided copies of the outgoing wire sent by the Title Company to GMAC, the escrow settlement statement and the short sale approval letters. The loan that i had with GMAC and loan records should not have been sent to Ocwen for credit reporting. I am respectfully requesting Ocwen to provide proof that the loan is no longer in my name, have their records updated accordingly and also this matter be reflected on my credit report, having it backdated to the respective XXXX timeframe. I have provided all the necessary documentation and more than complied with all their request. It is unfair to me and my family that this matter has not been resolved and that we continue to miss out on good opportunities to purchase a home. I kindly ask that you please hold Ocwen and its executive office accountable for their actions. I have no choice but to escalate this complaint through your regulatory agency, who has jurisdiction over credit reporting matters. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of 2007, I signed an adjustable rate note with XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX. As part of that Adjustable Rate Note package, XXXX XXXX had originally included a document that said my rate would become fixed after six months. Approximately three months after I signed the note, XXXX XXXX went out of business and XXXX became my servicer. As soon as I received notice in the mail that XXXX had taken over my loan, I went to see someone in person to inquire about the changes. When we discussed the change from adjustable to fixed rate, the XXXX employee said he knew nothing about that. XXXX then said they would refuse to honor my agreement with XXXX XXXX, and never honored the interest rate change we had agreed on. Now Ocwen is attempting to foreclose on me, and is charging interest and fees based on rates that do not reflect the original agreement and grossly overcharge me based on incorrect interest rates.

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen Loan ServicingWe were behind two months on our mortgage ( XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX XX/XX/XXXX ). We sent an overnight check received on XXXX XXXX XXXX that was signed for.The check was never cashed. Upon calling we were told that they had changed their overnight address and to give it a few days so it could be routed to the correct area. We called back a week later and was told the numbers written in the box of the check did not match the words written in the body of the check. I wrote the numbers and words correctly and assured them of that. I asked they send that check back with an explanation. They said they would but we needed to send another check to their new overnight box which we did and they cashed that one. During that conversation they said that our escrow account was short {$5100.00} and our new payment had gone up {$220.00} a month going back to XX/XX/XXXX. We sent a certified letter ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) them asking for our check back from XX/XX/XXXX that they did not cash and to provide us with an explanation of our escrow. We also called and spoke to a customer service representative who said she would accommodate this request. It 's seems {$5100.00} is extreme since our property taxed have only gone up {$400.00} for the new year and our homeowners premium has stayed the same from last year. We send another overnight check which was signed for on XXXX XXXX XXXX. We waited for it to clear the bank and on XXXX XXXX XXXX we called and they said they were no longer taking payments from us unless we send them {$11000.00}. On Monday XXXX XXXX XXXX I received my escrow projected statement ( which by the way is dated XXXX XXXX ) along with any accounting of my account since XXXX with fees for example service process XXXX/XXXX/XXXX {$420.00}, title report fee {$75.00} XXXX/XXXX/XXXX process service fees again on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX {$340.00}. The list goes on and on all while they denied my modification and then XXXX months later after denial I get an email that " great news your modification has been approved '' I thought it was a scam and contacted my local HUD counselor who verified for me that in fact it was changed from denied to approved. Hence we started making our payments. Ocwen has XXXX checks right now that they have refused to cash and in the interim cashed XXXX. This does not seem right. I have since been sent another modification package. I do n't dispute any late fees since our payments were received after the XX/XX/XXXX due date but I am disputing all other fees and the escrow amount. another modification package also.

Consumer Complaint: I have had XXXX experiences with OCWEN Loan Servicing that appear to be related regarding property insurance. My mortgage was structured to have property insurance paid from my escrow account. My insurance company sent a request for renewal to OCWEN to be paid form my escrow account at the time of renewal XX/XX/XXXX. OCWEN failed to pay the coverage and notified me that my property was no longer insured and that I would have to buy property insurance from them. This took several days to clear up. I recently sold my property XX/XX/XXXX. I canceled my insurance the day after the closing. Again, OCWEN sent me a letter stating I would have to buy property insurance form them to cover the property, despite having already sold the property and paying off the account. They sent me a certified letter dated 2 months after my property was sold. This is just ridiculous record keeping and the fact that this happened XXXX with their insurance department makes me question the sincerity of a simple miscommunication.

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen Loan Service and I are in arrangements to take care of a back payment I owe on mortgages attached to my mother 's estate. As the executor I make arrangements at certain times of the month to pay portions off in hopes of remaining current. Despite me making these arrangements, I get back to back calls while at work on my cell phone WHICH I ALSO USE FOR MY LINE OF WORK! These calls come sometime just days AFTER I paid a portion of this debt. OCWEN KNOWS my next payment date may be weeks off or even the next month! Last week I instructed them NOT to call at work. I gave them an after hours time frame ( which they can easily accommodate ) if they must to reach out ( the money wo n't arrive ANY sooner but hey ... ) The rep at Ocwen looked down at a series of notes and acknowledged that they were calling before the next payment cycle. Therefore making it a lost cause because there are n't any funds until that scheduled day. This morning at work I get XXXX back to back calls and a voicemail. OCWEN KNOWS my next payment is on XXXX but I will probably get about XXXX or XXXX calls ALL DURING MY WORK HOURS!!! All they have to do is look at the notes and NOT call. They WILL get their MONEY!!!
