Consumer Complaint: Hello my name is XXXX XXXX, I live in XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Ca XXXX. I have lived there since XXXX 2007 and always paid my mortgage on time until we had some very bad hardship. I lost my XXXX position which lowered my pay dramatically, we had a new baby, and my wife got sick after delivery. This hardship caused me to become delinquent in my mortgage payments as I could not pay the mortgage. After the years gone by the value of my home were dramatically decreased and it is not worth was it used to before. At this time the home needs huge and costly improvements to get the home to a greater value. New A/C and ventilation/duct around {$17000.00}, new kitchen {$7000.00}, new windows and doors {$4000.00}, cracked foundation $ unknown, paint house outside and inside {$3500.00}, and new roofing {$10000.00} and much more. The costs will be totaling over {$50000.00} in fixing. The home was built in 1960 and is showing the age very much so. The home is not worth what I 'm paying monthly for it and would like to receive a loan modification for this property. Im asking a mortgage payment of {$620.00} a month including taxes and insurance as this is what I would pay and know this home is worth. Ocwen offered me an option to pay trial payments of {$980.00} but that is too much for this home and I can not pay this. The amount they offered is only couple percent from what I used to pay and could not pay at the end. Please help me receive a loan modification. Thank you. XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: XXXX the loan servicing company wrote me demanding I I break into XXXX separate tracts for the local taxing authorities real estate that I own, part of which is covered by their mortgage, and part which is not. I timely complied and notified them XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX, I received a Annual Escrow DIsclosure Statement dated XX/XX/XXXX which raised my monthly escrow payment, in part because they added in, for making their computations, the taxes on the tract not covered by their mortgage that they had made me break out the year before. I responded and objected in writing the address they provided on XX/XX/XXXX. I waited over a month for them to respond and received no response so called. They advised they had no record of having received my letter and so suggested I fax it which I did. I have followed up several times but have yet to receive any written response or actual sonfirmation although last month they abated the monthly escrow sum due in the normal monthly statement they send me. While not being sent now, Copies of both documents and fax with confirmation receipt are available.

Consumer Complaint: Short sell of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX was approved by Ocwen and home listed as instructed on XXXX. Ocwen even argued the point they preapproved me after sending approval to my old adress. I followed all instructions after multiple requests for more and more paperwork to comply with their short sell policy. Then, they put the brakes on things AGAIN to try to get bids from unqualified buyers using XXXX ( no call or notice to my agent ) rather a straight denial letter and ignore a cash offer!!!!!!. They want to list the home XXXX AND NEVER mentioned this as a requirement, EVER!!! My agent presented a cash offer with validated funds, CASH!!! The buyer is ready to walk away from this deal due to these delays. If my home is foreclosed due to this delay, I request monetary damages for letting all my MONTHS of efforts go to waste and my credit destroying willfully. There is simply no excuse for the sixth delay, more surprises, and a clear attempt to make this situation as difficult as possible so they can foreclose instead.

Consumer Complaint: I was erroneous offered a HAMP Modification. The lender accepted my payments and then contacted me and advised me of their error. They told me XXXX other loans were also given these modifications in error and they were working to resolve the error and find alternative modifications. They then sent me another trial modification which I completed XX/XX/2015. At that time they contacted me and let me know there was a problem with my title that was preventing the final permanent modification. They then let me know that was resolved and I would be receiving final documents any day. They kept requesting additional payments, which I always sent. My final communication with the lender was on XXXX/XXXX/15 in which they told me permanent documents would be arriving by the end of the month. I received a letter dated XXXX/XXXX/15 which informed me that they were transferring my loan effective XXXX/XXXX/15. They have taken at least 6 payments from me promising that each payment was leading to a permanent modification which appears to be a lie. They should not be allowed to transfer my loan prior to correcting their many errors and providing my permanent modification as promised.

Consumer Complaint: There is no way you can speak to someone when you call OCWEN. Their offices are overseas in XXXX and you can not understand them. My payment has to be in by the XXXX of each month. I mail the check each month now because they could not get the electronic payment done right either. They, this month XXXX 2015, want to charge me a fee of {$40.00} for their inability to process my paper check. When a check is received by mail, and of course with the US mail so messed up who can say when they will receive your payment.. I mailed my payment on the XXXX of XXXX they received and posted it on the XXXX, the check was to be deposited on the XXXX.AS IT WAS DATED so when it went through my bank 2 days early my SS check was not in yet and OCWEN charged me {$40.00} b/c their people do not know what they are doing!! and it was returned for non sufficient funds by my bank. I used to pay online and then they wanted to charge a {$10.00} fee for that as well. When you are on a set income it is hard to survive in this dog eat dog world. I have never missed a payment or been late with anything UNTIL OCWEN. Someone needs to go in and close their doors or maybe bring them back to the XXXX to be serviced.

Ocwen force placed coverage with no proper notice and the effective dates of their force place coverage included months my property was not in a flood zone. They have had my paid flood policy and continue to error and cause me financial harm, and inaccurate credit reporting. My payments have been deposited to suspense rather than posting because they can not correct their errors. details in the attached letter, chronology, and supporting documentation. While housing my payments in suspense account they have referred my loan to loss mitigation. My credit score has always been XXXX and my good credit is in jeopardy.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX I suffered some financial hard ships. Due to these hardships I was having trouble making my mortgage payments, my loan was turned over by GMAC to Ocwen Financial with out my knowledge. While I was making payments Ocwen was returning the payments but to the wrong address. I did not become aware of this until Ocwen notified me that my home was going into foreclosure. This was XX/XX/XXXX. I have had nothing but trouble with Ocwen since. This includes everything from setting up appointments with Relationship Managers who do not keep appointments, call at the wrong time or even call me at the wrong phone number. Numerous times Ocwen has changed my Relationship Manager without even telling me so it can take days or even weeks to find out who I am even suppose to speak with. I submitted an application for a loan modification back XX/XX/XXXX. I did not receive anything from Ocwen up dating me on my application. When again I finally was able to get a hold of who was my new Relationship Manager, I was told he could not speak to me telling me my account had been referred to an attorney. He was not able to give me a name or a phone number of the attorney. I was finally able to track down the attorney XX/XX/XXXX after many phone calls and internet research. I left messages for her for almost 2 weeks before I was able to reach her and when I did she told me that a repay had been set up and the first payment was due in 2 days. My mother who is on this loan called the attorney as I work and am unable to remain on hold for long periods my mother was told by the attorney, that she was not able not speak to her. This repay was not feasible and they told me to resubmit a new modification application, this was done in XXXX XXXX. I have had XXXX Relationship Managers since then. I can not seem to get the right information, the right person or the right phone number. Yesterday after finding out that I again have a new Relationship Manager I asked to be transferred to a manager and was transferred to a manager who actually told me he did not know his own phone number so I could call him back. He also told me he did not know his supervisors phone number. I was told yesterday that they needed more information on my new application. It was faxed over twice to make sure they received it this morning. I called to confirm they received it and have a fax confirmation. It has been almost two months and again I had not received anything from Ocwen. I had an appointment to discuss my application with my than Relationship Manager and she had someone else call to tell me she was busy and they called and left a message at the wrong phone number. I can not believe anybody can stay in business like this. I do not believe Ocwen has any desire to help me keep my home which by the way I have owned for 30 years. When this started with Ocwen my home was to be paid off XX/XX/XXXX. With all the charges and non-since Ocwen is tacking on I feel like it will be lost or never paid off.

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen Loan Servicing has been threatening to foreclose for over two years now, even though I have proof of EVERY payment made since XX/XX/XXXX, before they took it over. I have read horror story after horror story, never-ending, about people in the same boat. They are attempting to escrow for insurance that I pay myself at XXXX time the rate, in order to get kickbacks from their affiliates, one of them being " XXXX '' ./XXXX I called and asked for a " pay-off '' amount to make the harassment cease and desist. TWICE I mailed a check for the amount they gave me. They have so many " departments '' and so much outsourcing to XXXX that one hand has no idea what the other is doing. If my paralyzed son did not live in this residence which I bought and equipped for him, I would GLADLY tell the XXXX to TAKE IT. However, he is XXXX for over 30 years now and has nowhere else to go. I have read that one recourse is to let them illegally foreclose and then lawyers would jump all over it, but I do hate to see my son XXXX in the street through no fault of my own. I just yesterday read an article about a " granny '' who has never missed a payment since XX/XX/XXXX until Ocwen took over and sent her a bill saying she owes {$30000.00} ( yes that 's XXXX XXXX ) in " fees ''. When she and her son contested it, thought it was a computer glitch, the figure magically went down to XXXX XXXX, with no explanation. They are still to this day enduring the XXXX I am going through. There are SO MANY STORIES of this nature that I find it impossible to believe that these people are humans, much less allowed to operate as a " legitimate '' business. I thought that this was the USA? What happened?

Consumer Complaint: OCWEN : Need I say more? They have ruined our lives, our sanity, any quality of life. Upon reading many of the horror stories online, I almost feel fortunate that ours is not worse. Nonetheless, it 's a true downer having them in charge of your life. My husband lives on SS and has a son who is a XXXX who lives in a home that he bought for him in 1990 and spent a ton of money equipping it for him. Now due to their ineptitude, inaccurate accounting, and just plain GREED, the kid may soon be in the street in his XXXX. I have filed several complaints here but I am not able to scan and attach documents. I 'm no computer whiz. Just spent an entire week delving through a foot high stack of inconsistent and fabricated documents from Ocwen, printing, highlighting, pulling my hair out to compile a package to the NY AG ; do n't think I can do it again. Just will keep trying to get the truth out there and ask WHY are these people allowed to remain in business?!? I 'm just so sure you do n't get any more complaints about them after the big settlement. XXXX. Corruption at it 's highest level
