Consumer Complaint: I Applied for a loan modification and was approved but the interest rate stayed high at 4.25. Before i applied for a modification my interest rate was 3.75. What Ocwen did was offer a second loan and not charge interest on it but it will still be due at the end of the loan term. I am one of the affected home owners for the ocwen settlement and I demand that My Mortgage gets the proper loan credits that I am entitled to as per the settlement I am entitled to demand a permanent principal reduction of XXXX XXXX on my loan as a complete loan forgiveness. When I was under a review for modification my account escrow balance was changed several times and i filed several complaints back then. I demand under federal laws that my Loan gets credited XXXX as well as my Interest rate to be dropped as low as 2 % for the remaining term.

Consumer Complaint: I have always paid my real estate taxes and mortgage insurance on my home. Ocwen once before tried to force me into a escrow account and I called and had it cancelled. They have once again did the same thing. They sent me a list of what I needed to do to cancel it. I did what they said and then they turned around and denied it and paid a back tax that they had no right paying. I handle that myself and now because of that, I once again owe them money and they are saying I can not cancel the cancel that escrow. My wife was on the phone with them for over an hour telling them, that we know all about the lawsuits against them and the sanctions that were placed on them for this very thing. She also informed them that if she did not hear back from them that a complaint was going to be issued. Every other year they are adding an insurance policy to my account when I handle my own insurance policy through XXXX XXXX. Its a battle to have that taken off my account even after my agent calls them and sends them the proof that I have insurance. Its a nightmare dealing with this company with all the sneaky things they do.

Consumer Complaint: We received a form XXXX from Ocwen for the debt cancellation of {$150000.00} for 2017 Tax year. Debt was cancelled as of XX/XX/2017 per form XXXX. Per the loan modification agreement and letter from Ocwen 's Office of the Consumer Ombudsman, the principal reduction of {$150000.00} would occur over a 3 year period. The deferred principal reduction was to be reduced by {$50000.00} over a 3 year period. The XX/XX/2017 mortgage account statement shows the deferred principal balance has been reduced from {$150000.00} to {$120000.00}, difference between the two amounts is the agreement principal reduction amount of {$50000.00}.

Consumer Complaint: My mortgage with XXXX XXXX XXXX was discharged in bankruptcy on XX/XX/XXXX Then, the worthless mortgage was acquired by Ocwen Loan Servicing LLC [ OLS ] on XX/XX/XXXX almost 18 months after the bankruptcy for {$130000.00}. Then on XX/XX/XXXX OLS began foreclosure proceedings in XXXX County Court, Florida. I was told that the Foreclosure was for clearing the title and not an attempt to collect the " XXXX '' debt. The subject property was sold on the market in XX/XX/XXXX for {$160000.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX the property loan balance {$130000.00} was removed from OLS books including late charges of {$1500.00} The removal of the loan balance, called a " cancellation '' of debt by OLS, created a XXXX for XX/XX/XXXXof {$130000.00}, FIVE years after the bankruptcy

Consumer Complaint: I applied for a modification and OCWEN told me I wasn't eligible for a Modification but that I did qualify for a shared something or other. I was told by several other companies that I DID qualify for a modification, but at the time I was afraid of losing my home so I went with OCWEN 'S horrible horrible offer, I will never ever get my home paid for or be able to sell it to anyone because of the mortgage as it stands right now. I am to pay for years and years and years, 30 of them and at the end I still have a balloon payment of the XXXX that I currently owe, how is that possible or fair? Also, XX/XX/2016 they reduced my mortgage by XXXX and sent the irs a XXXX for cancellation of debt but then they added that same amount back into my mortgage. When I first had the loan servicing with Ocwen, my loan was XXXX now my mortgage balance is like 274,000.00 and I don't understand why, I have asked them to explain it to me, I have asked them to fix the cancellation of debt because you can't have both, you can't cancel a debt and then add it back into the loan without fixing it with the IRS. Ocwen is also reporting negative things to the credit bureaus and I am current. I asked them to fix it and they just blew me off by sending me a payment history which is when I learned about the debt cancellation mistake. Plus there are all these fees that they charged for inspection and other things that have never been done. They have never ever inspected my home.

MY PAYMENTS ARE {$570.00} A MONTH I HAVE BEEN SENDING {$600.00} A MONTH PROBABLY FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS I RECENTLY MAILED IN XX/XX/XXXX AND XX/XX/XXXX PAYMENT I SENT {$1200.00} THEY MAILED IT BACK TO ME AND TOLD ME THEY COULD NOT ACCEPT IT BECAUSE I DID NOT HAVE XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX AND XX/XX/XXXX PAYMENT MADE I ALWAYS SEND A CASHIER 'S CHECK OVERNIGHT IT THROUGH THE POST OFFICE AND REQUIRE A SIGNATURE WHEN THEY RECEIVE IT I HAVE COPIES OF WORD SOMEONE HAS SIGNED FOR IT AND RECEIVED IT BUT YET THEY HAVE NOT APPLIED IT TO MY LOAN AND THEY CONTINUE TO SAY I HAVE NOT MADE MY PAYMENTS AND CHARGE ME LATE FEES I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF YOU COULD HELP ME GET THIS RESOLVED.
