Consumer Complaint: I have been disputing this inaccurate public record for the past 6 months I was a victim of identity theft In the past & also I had some one with same name file bankruptcy and for some reason its showing up on my credit report which once I found our I disputes immediately. It came back verified and then I disputed again and then the bureaus said it was verified by lexis nexis and then I disputed with lexis nexis after I requested all my information and report they sent I looked it over I looked over and I found out there are many inaccuracies In the public record and if they actually did the investigation they could have easily seen that it wasnt correct and the main issue is Lexis Nexis is saying in writing that they verified this bankruptcy directly from the court house so I went to the court and they wrote me a letter and signed it and it clearly says they dont verify anything with anyone especially lexis nexis or any cra and it also says they can not guarantee the accuracy of there public records once they are on file so there is absolutely no way that lexis nexis can up hold the laws of the FCRA And make sure they are reporting only verified to be 100 % accurate information is reporting when the place the record is coming from cant even do so. This has harmed my credit it has cost me employment & more embarrassment that I cant put into words I am asking for you to please have this removed and investigate this situation as it is inaccurate and should not be on my file at all. Last dispute I filed with them was on XX/XX/XXXX and the one before that was on XX/XX/XXXX and I uploaded documents to them and they didnt even look over them thats what the lady told me when I submitted on XX/XX/XXXX again.. I will attach them here as well thank you.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2020 I submitted a letter to LexisNexis asking for a Method of Verification. In my letter i asked for documents or company information who is verifying a Bankruptcy claim on my report. The method of Verification was not fulfilled only with a letter stating verified no company information was provided. I then reached out to LexisNexis via phone and was told they are not aware who verified the bankruptcy claim. Due to they get information from several companies and now have to dispute this claim.In order to provide me with the company information. LexisNexis was giving 15 days to provide me with such information per compliance with the FCRA.

Consumer Complaint: I originally submitted a complaint with CFPB regarding LexisNexis listing the wrong case number in their database for my Chapter XXXX Bankruptcy. This information was being reported incorrectly to the XXXX major bureau XXXXXX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXXand XX/XX/XXXX. I also requested a security freeze placed on my file with instructions for them to not disclose information to the bureaus which they didnt honor. I received the results of their investigation on XX/XX/2020 in which LexisNexis stated they verified case number XXXX as being correct through XX/XX/XXXX. After this i went direct to that database and search in their system under that case number XXXX, and through my due diligence that number return multiple case files not matching my CH. XXXX BK. Only after typing in the correct case number as supplied on my court documents sent to me by the courts and the attorney was able to pull the right file. I advise LexisNexis of this in the last investigation that the case number XXXX isnt the correct sequence to pull my case in public record, yet they refuse to due the proper due diligence correctly. The reason why this is important to show the accurate case number to search is because under the case number XXXX which LexisNexis says is correct in that order ( which it isnt ) will pull multiple other file cases that can potentially pull their negative information onto my records. That can cause devastating affects to my file and hinder me from being able to secure credit, financing and potentially residency. I have included documents to show proof

Consumer Complaint: A few days ago I have reached out to XXXX XXXX to get a quote for my motorcycle policy. While getting a quote online and trying to finalize it as soon as I entered my Drivers license my quoted rate has gone up. I asked them why and they stated that they use Lexis Nexis reports and that report shows that I had an accident on XX/XX/19 and I was the driver at fault. This is absolutely inaccurate! On XX/XX/19 a XXXX rear ended my car and the other driver was at fault of the accident, not me. My current insurance company XXXX has confirmed that their reports are accurate and were submitted as such to all the reporting agency as I was the innocent driver in the accident. There is also a police report that shows that I was NOT the driver at fault. Because of inaccurate information posted by Lexis Nexis my reputation has suffered and I am not able to get insurance quotes that I should be eligible for as a very good driver. I need Lexis Nexis to fix their records as soon as possible and to report correct records to any companies that have reached out to them in the past with any credit inquiries for me. I am attaching to this complaint a copy of XXXX letter showing Negligence 0 % for me as a driver in this accident and a full police report of the accident. Thank you

Consumer Complaint: This company has failed me and allowed breach of my personal information. I have explained on several occasions not only have I been a victim of identity theft but they have allowed others to obtain my personal information. I have sent certified letters backdating XX/XX/XXXX from the courts saying that the credit bureaus method of investigation has been retained from an unverifiable source which is illegal. XXXX actually removed this inaccurate information over two years ago. This company owes me for damages. In addition I have no account tied to any bankruptcy nor have I ever. The address associated with this case is an address also I never resided at. I plan to show the courts this as I have attempted on many occasions to get this public record which has damaged my reputation and cause substantial harm to my success. I also recieved a letter from the clerk of courts stating The XX/XX/XXXX agreement to remove public records as there is inaccurate and incomplete information for a public record. The United States Bankruptcy Court nor the Clerk of the Bankruptcy Court reports Bankruptcy filings or proceedings to the three credit reporting agencies. There is no debt associated with a Chapter XXXX bankruptcy, therefore, there is no debt to report. There is no legal, FRCA wording, law, or any other standard that states Bankruptcy is a mandatory report to the credit file, nor is there any standard that supports that a Bankruptcy filing should be placed on the credit report. The methods commonly reported by the credit bureau claiming verification of a bankruptcy, are in fact false, as those entities get their information from the credit bureaus. These include Lexis Nexis, XXXX, XXXX, PACER, et cetera. PACER is administered by the federal courts, Credit reporting agencies are required to conduct investigations of disputed items with the furnisher of information. The Bankruptcy Court should be the furnisher of information ; however, the Bankruptcy Court does not report to the three credit bureaus. Therefore, because verification of the account can not be determined, the credit reporting agencies are obligated by Recieved from Lexis Nexis In his complaint with your office, Mr. XXXX did not specify a specific public record case or filing number that he wished to dispute. However, LexisNexis searched our records using Mr. XXXX name, address, and date of birth as provided in his complaint and located one bankruptcy record case number XXXX associated with Mr. XXXX in our systems. In an effort to resolve Mr. XXXX concerns, LexisNexis initiated a dispute of bankruptcy record case number XXXX on Mr. XXXX behalf. After a reinvestigation, LexisNexis removed bankruptcy record case number XXXX from his consumer reports prepared by LexisNexis Risk Solutions Bureau XXXX. A resolution letter outlining the results of our reinvestigation as well as Mr. XXXX statutory rights was mailed separately to him directly for review. Please be aware that LexisNexis Risk XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( LexisNexis XXXX XXXX ), a LexisNexis Company, sells public records to a variety of customers, including consumer reporting agencies such as XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. LexisNexis XXXX XXXX role is limited to providing the consumer reporting Page 1 XXXX agencies data it retrieves from bankruptcy, judgments, and liens public records from primary sources in bulk. LexisNexis XXXX XXXX has no role in determining what public records relate to which consumer. The consumer reporting agency determines whether to include a particular public record in a specific consumers credit file, not LexisNexis XXXX XXXX. Consumer Complaint: This company has failed to comply over and over again! They have included information in my report for 2 other individuals who are not me. I started an investigation with them back in XXXX and have not received the results or an updated printed report that reflects the changes. We were able to fax them up until the end of XXXX. Since then, they have disabled their fax. My daughter was included in this complaint and did access and did consent. We are disputing together because they have combined our information. They keep sending us letters with pin numbers and passwords that have expired because they're altering the dates that they're generating the letter. The letters may have XX/XX/XXXX but the envelope will have XX/XX/XXXX for example. WE DO NOT WANT A PIN AND PASSWORD TO ACCESS ONLINE. WE WANT FULL. COKPLETE, PRINTED COPIES MAILED TO US. THESE PEOPLE KNOW DAM WELL THOSE PHONE NUMBERS THAT THEY PROVIDED DO NOT WORK. MY DAUGHTER AND I HAVE CALLED AND KEEP BEING ROUTED TO THE AUTOMATED SYSTEM AND THEN IT EVENTUALLY HANGS UP. THE SUPERVISOR NUMBER LISTED IS A VOICEMAIL ONLY. WE HAVE LEFT MESSAGES! I HAVE ALL OF THE CALLS WE HAVE MADE TO THEM RECORDED. Consumer Complaint: i have asked the credit bureaus to show me how they have validated the negative accounts & the bankruptcies on my credit report. i have sent them letters asking them show proof that the negative accounts belong to me and to show me how they were validated. they have failed to produce any documentation providing any proof or how it was validated. in addition, XXXX County Courts do not verify bankruptcies via 3rd parties, so how are they being validated as accurate? no proof has been furnished to support the accuracy of these accounts being reported.
