Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Public record information inaccurate
Consumer Complaint: On or around XX/XX/2020, I submitted an email to this company asking to see the source of information, which is the original contract that contains my signature, according to FCRA Section 609. I have also produced documentation from the courts themselves stating that they do not report to the credit bureaus and therefore since the courts themselves did not furnace this information to the credit bureaus directly it is clearly a violation, which would be an inaccuracy, defaming my name and character. I asked for an reinvestigation and the only thing they could come up with is that it was reporting accurately. That is such a violation if it was reporting accurately the courts would have been the one responsible for how it is reporting on my report. Therefore the court did not furnish the information it is clearly an inaccuracy.

Issue: Problem with fraud alerts or security freezes
Subissue:
Consumer Complaint: Hello, and I hope all is well. Thank you for taking the time to review the complaint. A series of events occurred to have a fraud alert placed on all major credit bureaus. The companies listed requested Identification and social security numbers without a disclaimer of sensitive information signed. I was never a victim of identity theft. The letters drafted from the companies hired XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX. I began seeking reputable companies to assist with growth in the FICO Scoring system. The overall goal is to understand the five components ' of the overall credit profile. XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX had several misleading advertisements. For example, the rapid increase in point increased, the number of accounts removed, Etc. With the millions of credit reports, how can a company guarantee a rapid increase in points and everyone 's credit profile is different? Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: I initially filed complaint ID XXXX with CFPB in XXXX of XXXX hoping for a resolution of the original problem of a reported but INCORRECT auto insurance policy lapse. I have tried several times before to resolve the complaint with LexisNexis to no avail. This last time, in the complaint listed above, I used CFPB and got word that LexisNexis resolved the issue. Turns out they only said they resolved the issue, it still remains. Their correspondence to me tells of a resolution and yet when logging in to their website, looking at the pertinent info on page 31, under the heading Section 7, Record 1, Automobile Insurance Policies, under the heading " Policy Holder Details '' and under the sub-heading " Number of Policy Lapses '' it now correctly states 0 ( zero ) instead of the number 1 that used to be displayed. Problem now is that under policy lapse dates it STILL gives a Lapse Start Date of XX/XX/XXXX and a Lapse End Date of XX/XX/XXXX. THERE WAS NEVER A POLICY LAPSE! The letter I submitted from XXXX XXXX states this and now LexisNexis 's own report states 0 lapses and yet the report STILL gives these two start and end dates.

Consumer Complaint: I got a copy of my credit report from LexisNexis and found inaccurate information listed and invalidated information reported. Per FCRA 623 ( a ) ( 5 ) : If the credit bureau can not validate the information with the ORIGINAL creditor, they must remove the said information from the consumer credit file. The County Recorder of Deeds and the Bankruptcy Courts have both mailed me letters which state that they do NOT validate or provide information to credit reporting agencies or validate or confirm public records from third party providers such as LexisNexis. Public Records cant be validated due to the FCRA Privacy Laws. If LexisNexis cant provide a court order to place this information on my credit report or my authorization of release bearing my signature to report this bankruptcy, they must delete it. Per FCRA, section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( a ), you are required to verify through physical verification of the original signed consumer contract. How are you verifying this bankruptcy if the Bankruptcy Court and other agencies dont verify Bankruptcies? My LexisNexis report is frozen as well so how is XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX verifying this debt as accurate? None of the information even reported by LexisNexis is accurate. This bankruptcy needs to be removed from my credit within 30 days for violations. If not, litigation will be pending and complaints to the MN Attorney Generals office, Federal Trade Commission and more complaints to the CFPB will be filed.
