Consumer Complaint: Lexis/Nexis issued an adverse action letter to XXXX XXXX who indicated that they could not offer me the lowest rates based on the letter. Not only is my credit impeccable, but I used to have a security clearance. I have tried for months to get a copy of the consumer report from LexisNexis to understand what information is in it. In my communications with the company there have been several inconsistencies. I noticed that there have been several similar complaints on the XXXX XXXX XXXX website. Is LexisNexis reputable..

Consumer Complaint: This company put it upon themselves to add a driver to my car insurance policy and now my rates are up that I can not afford. Based on a police report they assumed false information and did not ask my permission or ask me anything at all. I am trying to get this disputed and I have not been in reach with anyone because they dont answer their phone ( s ).

Consumer Complaint: For 46 years, I had been a customer of XXXX XXXX for vehicle insurance. Last year my rates spiked. I switched to XXXX and they were cut in half. The result of the uncoupling was that my home insurance almost doubled at XXXX XXXX. My XXXX XXXX agent recommended that I add an old vehicle to my account. I did, a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I asked for liability only and was quoted {$1000.00} annual! I responded that driving costs had really gone up and the agent said that it was because I had reported 4 accidents in 5 years. 3 of those accidents on my Lexis Nexis report were for a vehicle that I sold XXXX, a XXXX XXXX XXXX. The first accident was XX/XX/XXXX with a XXXX collision claim. The second accident was XX/XX/XXXX with a XXXX collision claim, and the last was XX/XX/XXXX with a XXXX claim for physical/property damage. The claim that I own was a hit and run complaint that I filed with the XXXX County Police. This was for my XXXX XXXX XXXX. I called Lexis Nexis and they refused to provide me any info over the phone, instead referring me to something called the XXXX XXXX. They were supposed to call me within 24 to 48 hours. They have yet to call and it has been 72 hours. I asked what would happen if I was not available to answer the phone and they said a message would not be left and that the process would start all over again. I would have to initiate that process. I know today that I am being overcharged for insurance and that Lexis Nexis has too much power, is too opaque about how they operate, and has no interest in addressing consumer concerns.

Consumer Complaint: Contacted Lexus on XX/XX/2020, about bankruptcy that was reporting on credit accounts. The source of information was reported by Lexus Nexis I received a reference number from Lexus Nexis after contacting them-ref : XXXX. The 30 days passed that I was informed that they would investigate and sent me results in the mail. I contacted Lexus Nexis again on XX/XX/XXXX the I was informed their investigation was complete over the phone. I requested information to be sent to my address I never received follow up information. On XX/XX/2020, I requested a method of verification I was told I would receive information in the mail 30 days later they gave me reference : # XXXX I never received the corresponding information. I would like to request the account in question that I'm disputing with Lexis Nexis bankruptcy # XXXX and bankruptcy # XXXX be removed from their database.

Consumer Complaint: Lexis nexus has yet to remove both bankruptcies of my consumer report and it has been well over the FCRA investigation period which should have been 30 days now is going on two months. each time I call Lexis nexus they tell me a special unit is handing my case and they'll give me a call back and I still have yet to receive a call from them. my first initial dispute was back in XX/XX/2020 and I uploaded documents showing from the court house stating that they did not give lexis nexus any information regarding any bankruptcy of mines. this is a violation of 15 USC 1692 ( a ) infringement of the right to a consumers right to privacy. this is a result of identity theft, I have never signed any contact with lexis nexus and told them to report any information pertaining to my life which has been harmful to my reputation now pursuant to 15 USC 1681 ( a ) ( 2 ). I demand these bankruptcy to be deleted immediately because this is in fact in litigation.
