Consumer Complaint: LexisNexis report it to my insurance agency XXXX XXXX that I had an accident the accident was my husband 's I have not had an accident in over 30 years and the XXXX confirm this I had to change insurance companies because XXXX XXXX would not recognize this now when I tried XXXX XXXX the same information is coming up when I tried to address this issue with LexisNexis they say my file is they say they can not locate my file I have copies of everything they sent me and the bad information that they are putting out when I asked for a copy of that they continuously say that they do not have me on file this is the second time I've tried to address this issue and they will not change the report

Consumer Complaint: XXXX is not allowing me to purge data that- is beyond statute. Is inaccurate. Is no longer appearing on other bureau files. This is creating an extortion on " old debt claims '', none of which have legal standing. This is harming me. It is keeping me from opening a bank account, from being able to open credit cards- or other loans. I demand this stop. I demand all data beyond 2 years be purged. Nexus as well. No more verify me w 7+ years of data before we attempt to act, nonsense. You were never given permission to collect this data- IT WILL BE REMOVED AT ONCE.

Consumer Complaint: In early XXXX I requested copy of my credit report. CRA snail mailed me a link to open report online. Opened link, reviewed report found numerous errors. Contacted CRA and spoke with rep on fone, detailed errors. About one month later received correspondence from CRA that certain of the erroneous information had been deleted. Said correspondence included a link to review " corrected report '' Link did not work. Contacted CRA. CRA agreed link was faulty and promised to re-send a new link. Several weeks later received another snail mail letter containing yet another link. This link too was faulty. Contacted CRA again. CRA again agreed the link was indeed faulty. CRA agreed to overnight a hard copy of my report so that I could review my " corrected report '' Never received promised overnight letter containing report. CRA offered a case number for this request to-wit : XXXX. Re-contacted CRA on XX/XX/21. CRA now claims my file and report are " lost '' and can not be retrieved. Attempted to contact Lexis/Nexis corporate as the customer service people, while polite, are worthless. Unfortunately, Lexis/Nexis corporate is totally incognito and can not be reached. All the while, I am assuming that my file continues to be made available to their subscribers containing quite possibly incorrect and potentially libelous information. This company needs to account for their shortcomings. I'd recommend that a case be opened by CFPB and that civil money penalties be imposed for their flagrant abuse of the FCRA,

According to their website they process this request within 15 days after the request is received. As of XX/XX/2021 I have not received any type of response from LexisNexis.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I contacted Lexis Nexis on a bankruptcy on my file and the did a investigation and wrote a letter to me stating that they could not verify the bankruptcy and it was moved off of my file. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from Lexis Nexis stating that were responding to my complaint I made on them, which did not have a compliant file on them, I now received a letter from stating this is on my report. I have attached the letter from Lexis Nexis.. Please review the letter and the first repose on XX/XX/XXXX that I received from Lexis Nexis. This should not be on my file. I have sent return receipt to XXXX which I just received return receipt back from them on the same date that I received Lexis Nexis letter. Please remove this from the credit report.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX : You violated the United States XXXX Law Hello, I am deeply distraught to find out that you have shared my personal information about my bankruptcy ( Chapter XXXX Bankruptcy Case Number : XXXX ) with the credit Bureaus XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX If the credit Bureaus did not obtain this information from you, then I request that you send me a letter stating that you did not share my information with the credit bureaus, and that they did not find out about my bankruptcy ( Chapter XXXX Bankruptcy XXXX XXXX : XXXX XXXX from your company. If you shared my information, that is a violation of 15 U.S Code 1681 a ( 4 ) Consumer Right to privacy this Bankruptcy shouldn't be on my credit report. Also Under 15 U.S Code 1681b permissible purposes of consumer reports I never gave you any written consent to report anything on my consumer report no consent is identity theft. Criminally you are in violation of 18 U.S. Code 1028A - Aggravated identity theft, because you repeatedly share my information with new creditors. This punishment can carry up to XXXX years in XXXX. you are also guilty of FDCPA XXXX furnishing deceptive forms, because the forms you sent to the credit Bureaus are misleading, and I feel misled by your actions. I attached exhibit A as proof that this bankruptcy is appearing on my credit report because of the information your company has illegally supplied.
