Consumer Complaint: I have attached a letter from a credit reporting agency stating they have done multiple reinvestigations with a third party vendor verifying the bankruptcy in question. The third party vendor LexisNexis doesnt have a reported bankruptcy against me on their credit file held under my SSN number. How is the credit reporting agency verifying data during a reinvestigation with LexisNexis when theres nothing there to verify? Per FCRA 623 ( a ) ( 5 ) : If the credit bureau can not validate the information with the original creditor, they must remove said information from the consumer credit file. LexisNexis furnished this inaccurate unverifiable information to the credit reporting agencies, so they must furnish new information to the credit bureaus to remove the information.

Consumer Complaint: I submitted a dispute to lexis nexis by phone in XXXX of 2021 about a chapter XXXX bankruptcy that is reporting on my credit file that does not belong to me. The company claimed to have investigated my dispute and stated that the information was verified by the furnisher. After receiving their response, I reached out to the court that the information was supposedly verified by. The court stated that they could not find a record of such which matched my full name, social security number, date of birth, or address. The court also stated that they did not furnish nor verify ANY records to ANY credit reporting agencies or data reporting agencies. The problem with this public record is that it is not mine and is falsely reporting as being furnished by the recorder of deeds, the clerk of the court, or the municipal court which is not only false but also a direct violation of the fair credit reporting act. I want this record removed immediately from ALL sources

Consumer Complaint: I contacted Lexis Nexis Consumer Center on XX/XX/2021 by certified mail to challenge the validity of an alleged bankruptcy that Lexis Nexis has listed on my consumer report. On XX/XX/2021, Lexis Nexis responded via mail that I did not send my state identification card in with my initial request, when in fact I did. On XX/XX/2021, I contacted Lexis Nexis by certified mail, and resent a copy of my initial request along with another copy of my state identification card. As of XX/XX/2021, Lexis Nexis has failed to respond to my request of an investigation of the alleged bankruptcy that Lexis Nexis has listed on my consumer report that is causing irreparable damage to my credit profile.
