Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/21 I XXXX XXXX spoke on the to XXXX Ticket # XXXX at approximately XXXX XXXX, who is a representative of the company LexisNexis.They have gotten my personal information ( BANKRUPTCY ) and furnished it to the credit bureaus like XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX I stated law 15 USC 1681b " In general subject to subsection ( c ), any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report report under the following circumstances and no other : in accordance with with written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. Pursuant to 15 USC 1681a ( 4 ) There is a need to ensure that consumer reporting agencies exercise their grave responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and respect for the consumer 's right to privacy ''. I am a protected consumer and I have the right to PRIVACY!!!!!! I did not give LexisNexis any written consent to have my personal information or to send them my personal information. After stating law to XXXX he kept telling me that a Bankruptcy is public information and it stays on your report for 10 years. I told XXXX that NO CONSENT IS IDENTITY THEFT AND FRAUD. Are you saying you are consenting to committing identity theft and fraud? XXXX was quiet and said that he needed to place me on a hold. After placing me on several holds and me going back and forth I stated 15 USC 1681n. I told him Lexis Nexis would be in violation of Civil Liability for Willful noncompliance. I said if you can not help me I would like to speak to a Supervisor. He placed me on hold again and came back to tell me there were no available Supervisors and that they would call me within 24-48 business hours. After that I called on the XX/XX/21 and I spoke to XXXX at approximately XXXX : XXXX XXXX. I got the same result. Then I called again on XX/XX/21 at approximately XXXX XXXX and I spoke to XXXX. I got the same result except they said a Supervisor called me on XX/XX/21 and they left a voicemail. I asked well what time did they leave the voicemail they said they did not have that information. After hanging up I checked my call list and I did not see any calls from Lexis Nexis. Also I checked my voicemail and I did not receive any voicemail 's from LexisNexis. I believe Lexis Nexis is refusing to remove the BANKRUPTCY after knowing they are in violation. I have even talked to the BANKRUPTCY COURT and they told me they do not provide Credit Bureaus with this type of information. I have asked all three agents of this Corporation to provide me with a letter or a date when I gave them permission to to have my information Pursuant to 15 USC 1681b. I demand they delete the entire report and I have sent in a request to OPT-OUT of the Lexis NEXIS reporting pursuant to 15 USC 6802 ( b ). I XXXX XXXX, speak as the natural person and I demand deletion of this fraudulent information.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2019, I requested a full file disclosure from LexisNexis. I looked over the report and noted inaccurate information in my credit file reporting pertaining to a bankruptcy. I disputed the information with the credit reporting on several occasions in writing via US Mail. I called LexisNexis last week due to repeat response " we do not have sufficient data matching your request '' I called the company. I spoke to the rep who informed me that due to my file being frozen they could not initiate a dispute and that is why I received the letters. I asked her if it was right to dispute via written and she stated yes. She acknowledged that a dispute should have been completed but was not because my file was frozen. She told me when the file is frozen she can not access any information. She told me send my drivers license so she can authenticate my identity and then she will be able to access my consumer file. After uploading my driver 's license to verify my identity, the representative state that she could complete a dispute if there was a bankruptcy on my credit file. She told me that she did not see a bankruptcy in my credit file and would send me a report in the mail. I received a report in the mail today and it did appear be a full file disclosure. It did not obtain the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Report. What I received today did not include any data of what LexisNexis is reporting in my file including the XXXX Consumer Disclosure Report. I believe my rights are being violated and LexisNexis is refusing to provide me with a full file disclosure. I wrote LexisNexis and told them I was disputing the bankruptcy as it is tied to a social security number that belongs to another individual. I am aware of this only because the individuals full Social Security Number is listed in the bankruptcy data. I made LexisNexis aware of this in my written dispute and several times and asking why social security numbers and public record data that belongs to another individual is listed in my consumer file. I also raised the question if my social security number and other personal information is listed in someone else 's consumer file. Thus exposing all parties to identity theft. A data breach was not necessary as LexisNexis provided me the social security number along with a name for the individual listed in the bankruptcy.

On XX/XX/2021, I submitted a request via Certified Mail to LexisNexis to validate a Bankruptcy with the US Bankruptcy CourtXXXX XXXX to be listed as100 % accurate with no missing information. The letter certified letter was received by LexisNexis on XX/XX/2021. In response, I received a letter dated XX/XX/2021 that LexisNexis contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX to determine the accuracy and completeness of the information they are reporting. However, they did not verify the information to be reported 100 % accurate with the US Bankruptcy Court-XXXX XXXX I also verified with the US Bankruptcy CourtXXXX XXXX in writing that they do not verify or validate information with ANY Credit Bureaus or Credit Reporting Agencies such as LexisNexis. On XX/XX/2021, I sent a second letter via Certified Mail to LexisNexis to validate a Bankruptcy with the US Bankruptcy Court-XXXX XXXX to be listed as 100 % accurate with no missing information. The letter certified letter was received by LexisNexis on XX/XX/2021. In response, I received a letter from LexisNexis that they were unable to process my request at the time. As of XX/XX/2021, LexisNexis continues to provide Bankruptcy information to Credit Bureaus and have not verified said information to be 100 % accurate with no missing information with the US Bankruptcy Court-XXXX XXXX. Furthermore, the information is not being reported accurately & correctly with all Credit Reporting agencies. This inaccurate information has a negative marking on my credit and is affecting my ability to obtain credit as well as my credit scores. I would greatly appreciate it if you can make written contact with LexisNexis and request that they verify with the US Bankruptcy Court-XXXX XXXX in writing the information they are providing to Credit Bureaus to be 100 % accurate & complete.

Consumer Complaint: I need ALL forms of ALL reports created by LexisNexis, including XXXX XXXX life-insurance related, health insurance-related, etc. reports to review for errors because I received multiple letters of adverse action from multiple LexisNexis report types. These AA letters indicated patently false data points/information. I need these false data removed because Im being surcharged for various insurance types, and other carriers will not accept me ( based on the LexisNexis report ( s ) ). Further, I wish to exercise my Right to Be Forgotten and must examine the records to ensure all requests have been deleted or else to know how to refer to such reports. LexisNexis will not advise to its formal opt-out system for all its productsonly one, singular tool for one report type exists, and they allege compliance with my request. I requested my report via Internet in earlyXXXX, midXXXX and again this week ( early-XXXX ). I still do not have any reports as of today, XXXX. The company reached out to me via XXXX after having complained about the disservice, but theyve failed to follow through with their promise to even reach out. Beyond the above items costing me ongoing financial harmfor which Lexis is directly liable, I need to fix any errors because Im a victim of identity theft/fraud ( duly-reported and recorded in XXXX XXXX, CA ). Consumer Complaint: LexisNexis is making a fortune selling their services to many company 's as a verification process. so much so that many banks and company 's rely 100 % on this as their only way to verify a customer. I have not been able to pass a verification ever. I have requested reports many times and when I did get them None of the information that is causing me to fail the verifications are on there. I have put out so much effort to fix this issue. It is causing me so much problems and is affecting me financially. For example Today I can not electronically my tax document to be processed before the deadline. My CPA uses a company called XXXX and they only use LexisNexis. So now I will have to get my tax returned Mailed to me so I a manually sign. Then mail them back and that process will take longer than I have. because the Deadline is the XXXX. I also cant ever verify with XXXX. there I have a checking account and savings account and multiple credit cards. I also have home and auto policy 's with them as well. This is getting stupid how horrible this is and I cant get anyone to help me at all. I need real help. A person that understands English has authority to fix my problems.
