Consumer Complaint: I have two dismissed bankruptcies on my XXXX report. I have disputed these bankruptcies for years. Finally XXXX told me that I had to dispute them with LexisNexis, which I did. LexisNexis removed them. XXXX still refuses to remove them, saying that LexisNexis is certifying that they are in their data base. LexisNexis is telling me that they are not certifying to XXXX that these bankruptcies are in their database. Im caught in the middle. I have letters from XXXX saying they were removed, which XXXX is ignoring. I want these items removed. It should not take years to have this corrected.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX refuses to delete the negative reporting of my Chapter XXXX public record. XXXX refused to review my dispute and referred me to XXXX XXXX, a third party reporting agency. XXXX and XXXX complied after receiving my dispute with the letter from the bankruptcy court stating the courts do not report to credit bureaus. I tried over 3 times to reach out to XXXX XXXX, but they refuse to confirm how they received my information. Each time, they provided me with a code to review my XXXX XXXX report. This is absolutely a violation of the FCRA and I want XXXX and XXXX XXXX to be held accountable. The negative reporting from XXXX has ruined my life and credit profile. I am unable to get housing during this pandemic because of this negative reporting.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX I sent a certified letter to LexisNexis to verify the process in which they verified a Bankruptcy on my credit report but I never got a response. In XXXX I filed a complaint asking for the method of verification on which they verified a bankruptcy on my credit report. LexisNexis responded this time stating that they used XXXX to verify my Bankruptcy and they linked it to my address and social security number. The explanation they provided me was false and inaccurate as they stated they verified a Chapter XXXX Bankruptcy filed on XX/XX/XXXX and was discharged on XX/XX/XXXX. They also claim to have verified the address which I have never lived at. Everything they claimed to have verified was false and inaccurate and they have been providing XXXX/XXXX/XXXX with false information when they provide them with verification information as they are the third party used to verify public information.

Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Investigation took more than 30 days
Consumer Complaint: I requested a copy of my LexisNexis consumer credit report and when I received it, I notified Lexis Nexis of a bankruptcy that was on my credit report that I did not recognize. LexisNexis sent me a letter stating that they had done an investigation and it was verified and being reported accurately. PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHMENT. So, I contacted my local courthouse and questioned them why there was a bankruptcy being reported to Lexis Nexis that I had never filed. They responded and sent me a letter stating that they never sent anything to LexisNexis. PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHMENT. I sent LexisNexis the letter that the courthouse sent me and asked them to provide me the detailed of their investigation, but they never responded. On XX/XX/2021, I sent my 2nd request to LexisNexis via certified mail via USPS XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX asking them where they get this information to verify it? And with whom they speak with? and as of today they still have not responded. It has been more that 90 days and still the bankruptcy is still being reported. It's crazy that LexisNexis would stoop so slow and violate peoples consumer rights. In this matter, according to 15 USC 1681b ( 2 ) No permissible purposes of consumer reports/ no written instruction, Lexis Nexis did not have permissible purposes to report this negative information. They have also violated my right to privacy according to 15USC 1681 ( a ) ( 4 ). The fact that they claim the courthouse gave them this information is another violation according to 15 USC 1681a ( e ). LexisNexis never contacted me, never conducted any personal interviews with anyone related to me or any of my associates concerning this matter. Again, this has been going on more than 90 days and the matter is still not resolved.

Consumer Complaint: I have contacted the Credit Bureaus/Agencies XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, LexisNexis ) and the Creditor ( Bankruptcy Chapter 13 ) involved in this matter several times trying to resolve this issue. Notifying them that they were not in compliance with their incorrect report per FCRA and that the bankruptcy is fraudulent and that I'm a victim of identity theft. In return to tell me that this bankruptcy was verified and/or belonged to me via LexisNexis or no response at all. None of these companies have provide me with any proof such as any original documents bearing my original signature. I also contacted the bankruptcy court and it is clear that they do not report to any credit bureau for that matter ; therefore the response verifying the item with the court is an error. Either way, the reporting requirements do not comply with FCRA Section 611 ( 15 U.S.C. Section 1681 ) and the information must be deleted immediately
