Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2022, Lexis Nexis verified inaccurate public information of bankruptcy on my consumer report. Lexis Nexis indicated that their company deleted this information effective XX/XX/2022, followed by stating they would mail a resolution notice verifying their action of deleting this information. On XX/XX/XXXX. 2022 I again requested a copy of this notice for my records informing Lexis Nexis that no notice had ever been mailed. Lexis Nexis agreed to resend the notice and complete a manual dispute of this info with all 3 credit bureaus. To date I have not received any notice of this deletion as requested.

Consumer Complaint: My name is XXXX XXXX, a federally protected consumer. I am submitting this complaint against LexisNexis in reference to complaint # XXXX ( attached ). In their response, LexisNexis stated that their investigation was resolved on XX/XX/2022, however based on the information I, XXXX XXXX, provided in the previous complaint, they were unable to fully authenticate my identity, and that even though I, XXXX XXXX, provided them with my name, address and driver 's license, LexisNexis still needs additional information to further prove my identity. My question to LexisNexis is how were they able to properly investigate any disputes or complaints, needing more information to fully authenticate my identity? According to 15 USC 1681h, proper identification was given. Congress does not state that the consumer has to provide any other means of identifying documentation, other than what I have already provided. ( attached labeled Identification ). My second question to LexisNexis is to provide me with the " description of the procedure '' used ( as they stated in their response ) in their investigation? LexisNexis also stated in their response that they have no obligation under the FCRA 15 usc 1681 and that i need to be advised that LexisNexis is not a debt collector. I am aware that LexisNexis is in fact a consumer reporting agency according to 15 usc 1681a ( p ) and according to 15 usc 1681b ( 2 ) the furnishing of any consumer related information has to be in accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. Lastly, LexisNexis stated 3 " rights '' that I, as a consumer, have the right to according to FCRA, yet LexisNexis failed to mention my rights to privacy according to 15 usc 1681 section 602 A.

Subissue: Investigation took more than 30 days
Consumer Complaint: After authenticating my identity over 10 times since XX/XX/2020 with LexisNexis, after waiting over 90 days for corrections to be made to my XXXX Report, Lexis Nexis wrote that it not able to authenticate my information which has been the same for many years. First LexisNexis wrote that I needed to contact the provider of the inaccurate information to have it removed but did not disclose the providers names. Then it wrote that LexisNexis does not make corrections to the XXXX Report. Now it writes that it can not authenticate my identity. LexisNexis took unauthenticated information from all the identity theft accounts and had no problem placing all that inaccurate information on my consumer report and XXXX Report which incorrectly lists XXXX pages of identity thieves as my relatives and/or associates on my report. Since no one signs anything and there is no accountability and with all their incompetence, I do not feel safe resubmitting my personal documents which I already submitted upon my initial request.
