Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 I sent Lexis Nexis asking proof of how, did they verified information was accurate, and who gave the permission to share my bankruptcy information with the XXXX credit bureaus, and I have letter from the courts, which I'll attach stating that do not share my information with no credit bureaus, and also on credit bureaus the information is incorrect dates, are wrong, locations, and etc. I will attached the correct information as well. I will attach my credit report with wrong dates, location, case number. This is violation of the Privacy Act Disclosure without consent Rule U.S.C 552a ( b ). As of today, I haven't receive a response back from Lexis Nexis. Below is the letter I sent. Dear LexisNexis : I have recently looked at a copy of my credit report and see that you are still providing inaccurate information about a couple bankruptcies that were filed. It is my understanding that this information has to be reported correctly or else it has to be removed. I think you are aware of this fact as well, which is why I am confused as to why this information is still being reported by YOU to the credit bureaus. I have already spoken with the courthouses that these bankruptcies were filed in and I know that they did not provide you this information as they explicitly stated they don't report information to anyone. But I guess you use XXXX to obtain your inaccurate information from public files. Well if you did your due diligence and obtained the correct information, you would see that the information that you are reporting regarding the bankruptcies are extremely inaccurate. They were both DISMISSED and never DISCHARGED and the dates are wrong! My credit is being negatively impacted due to your neglectful reporting and I would appreciate it if you removed these bankruptcies from your system. It is not fair that one can simply snoop around and report half truths and cause so much distress. Also, to make this even easier on you, I have included a copy of the court records from XXXX with the correct dates showing that these were DISMISSED and not XXXX. Creditor : Account : Reason : Failure to respond will result in complaint to the CFPB, FTC, as well as XXXX. I know my rights and right now you are violating them with this incorrect information. It is also my understanding that Under the FCRA 15 U.S.C. 1681i, every single one, even each any or all of the unproven, non-compliant, incomplete, untrue, incorrect, and or unverified aspects of any alleged derogatory accounts must be promptly negated in its entirety or the alleged accounts are to be completely deleted. By the provisions of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and per the standards of reporting compliance implemented with the XXXX enacted XXXX enacted XXXX XXXX COMPLIANCE regulations, I demand that these above-mentioned derogatory items be investigated and permanently removed from my report. Again, I would like this information removed from your system asap and once it's removed. I would also like a copy from the report confirming its removal to XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX since you have provided them with negative information to begin with.

Consumer Complaint: I recently disputed a bankruptcy with LexisNexis and they were not able to verify this information so they deleted this Bankruptcy from their records. I took the letter they sent me and I opened a dispute with XXXX and XXXX by mail. They both came back stating that the bankruptcy was verified by LexisNexis. Both companies also told me that LexisNexis needs to send them a letter stating they have removed the Bankruptcy from their records. I called LexisNexis and they told me they don't do that. When I called both XXXX and XXXX to tell them what LexisNexis said, they BOTH said that this is the only way they can verify that this Bankruptcy has been removed. I'm asking that LexisNexis report the bankruptcy removal to XXXX and XXXX and send me a letter confirming they did that. Their false reporting is in direct violation of my FCRA rights and has caused me years of stress and my mental health has declined and has caused me to pay extremely high interest rates and has prevented me from buying a home. I'm currently in communication with an FCRA Consumer Lawyer to go over my options with all three companies. In my last CFPB complaint for LexisNexis, they stated they could not verify me so they could not proceed so this new complaint includes a copy of the requested information.

Consumer Complaint: Hello CFPB, The address that is currently displaying on ALL of my credit reports is WRONG, incorrect and is a potential serious identity fraud risk! I'm hoping you can help me with fixing the address that is showing on all of my credit reports. My current and correct address is : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX I have lived at this address for over XXXX XXXX, so I don't understand why the information is displaying incorrectly on my credit report. I want to assert my legal right for 100 % of the information on my credit report to be fully accurate. I don't know the law or FCRA statute that protects this legal right, But I know it exists. I am quite concerned to get this fixed ASAP. I have sent multiple letters to the Credit Bureaus requesting they correct my address. To date, they have NOT corrected the problem. I request that ALL Credit Reporting Agencies, ( including what many people call the sub-bureaus or data furnishers ) to immediately correct my address ... OR ... if they are not able to display my current address correctly due to a limitation of their technology systems... ... Immediately remove ALL addresses that do not EXACTLY MATCH this one. I would rather have NO address listed at ALL on my credit report, than to have the wrong address listed! My current and correct address is : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX There is a similar address in the neighborhood that is NOT CORRECT aka XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX NOT CORRECT. I will attach a PDF which includes documents which clearly show my current and correct address : My State Drivers License, Apartment Rental Agreement/ Lease 2 Bank Statements Voter Status Car Insurance I have experienced that computers often auto-populate MY address incorrectly, XXXX entering the address, aka not including the " XXXX '' in the number, OR the city of XXXX XXXX XXXX My apartment is in XXXX XXXX. Please understand that my correct address MUST include " XXXX '' and XXXX XXXX, as listed on my identification documents, otherwise other people receive my personal mail. This could lead to other people stealing my identity. Please also remove ANY and ALL Phone Numbers listed on my credit report. Please correct these issues Immediately. XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: LexisNexis was sent two disputes well over 30 days ago. They have filed at responding within 30 days, which violates the FCRA. The law requires a reasonable investigation within 30 days - if this is not completed the disputed information has to be deleted.
