Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I sent in a letter to all 3 major credit bureaus ; XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. I sent the letters XXXX Mail with tracking # XXXX XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX to dispute a bankruptcy being reported on my credit report as Bankruptcy, XXXX XXXX - Discharged, with filing # XXXX filed on XX/XX/XXXX. All 3 bureaus returned letters stating that they did an investigation and verified the bankruptcy as accurate and complete. They cited LexisNexis and XXXX XXXX XXXX as the companies that verified the information. On XX/XX/XXXX I also sent a letter to the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I sent this letter Certified Mail with tracking # XXXX. I asked the clerk of court if they report bankruptcy information to the credit bureaus. They sent me a letter stating that they do not report or verify any information to the credit bureaus or any 3rd party reporting agencies. On XX/XX/XXXX I sent letters to LexisNexis and XXXX XXXX XXXX via Certified Mail with tracking numbers XXXX and XXXX. I sent these letters to dispute the same bankruptcy XXXX XXXX and request an investigation. Both companies sent letters to me stating that they conducted an investigation and verified the bankruptcy as complete and accurate. They both cited XXXX as the company who verified the information for them. On XX/XX/XXXX I also sent an email to XXXX to find out if they report information to the credit bureaus or 3rd party reporting agencies. They replied with an email stating that they do not report or verify any information to any of the credit bureaus or 3rd party reporting agencies. They also state on their website that they do not guarantee the accuracy of the information on their website and any inaccurate information should be handled with the US Courts. But as I stated earlier, the US Courts do not verify information. On XX/XX/XXXX I sent letters again to LexisNexis and XXXX XXXX XXXX via Certified Mail with tracking numbers XXXX and XXXX. I informed them both that the XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX both stated that they do not report or verify information. I provided copies of the letter and the email as well. They both replied again with the information being verified as complete and accurate and refused to remove this from my file. If this is the case, how did the credit bureaus verify this information and bankruptcy to be 100 % accurate? They could not have possibly completed a fair investigation according to 15 USC 1681. The Credit Bureaus violated my rights several times under 15 USC 1681 : 15 USC 1681 Section 602 A states that I have the right to privacy. 15 USC 1681 Section 604 A Section 2 states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instructions. 15 USC 1681s-2 ( A ) ( 1 ) states a person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate.

Consumer Complaint: CEASE AND DESIST I, XXXX XXXX, Natural person and consumer, am notifying LexisNexis that you are violating 15 usc 1681 and my rights as a federally protected consumer. XXXX XXXX and XXXX is reporting a Bankruptcy on a consumer report bearing my name and alleges you, LexisNexis, have validated the Debt and Verified the accuracy of the data. XXXX, and XXXX have refused to cease reporting this inaccurate information more than XXXX times and claim that you validated the information, my information has been frozen with you and I have a confirmation letter from you dated for XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and case number XXXX. This means that my information has already been provided to you as far as my identification to validate me and my account and you shouldn't be sharing any information with no XXXX. Lexis nexis is the Furnisher. Per FCRA Section 623 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) When you provide information to the CRA, You have Obligations under the FCRA to ensure the accuracy of the information you Furnish. As a rule, its illegal to report information that you know to report information that you know or believe its inaccurate. Per FCRA section 623 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( C ) You can not, under any circumstances, report information the consumer has told you is inaccurate if it is, In fact, Inaccurate. Per FCRA 623 ( a ) ( 2 ) ( B ) If you furnish information to a CRA on a regular basis and determine that any information you provided is inaccurate or incomplete, You must promptly notify the CRA and provide corrections or additions.Going forward, you must furnish only the correct information to the CRA. As evidenced by your removal of this account from LexisNexis reporting ( after I disputed and made multiple phone calls ), you still have notified the CRAs, Specifically XXXX XXXX AND XXXX that they are illegally reporting. This is a direct, willful violation of 15 USC 1681. This is not a dispute. This is a Demand for LEXISNEXIS to comply with federal law and cease infringement on my right to privacy and fair consumer reporting. I've been dealing with this harassment for over a year as a result of your illegal actions and it has cost me countless opportunities, my credit, my reputation and put undue hardship and stress on me and my family, you LEXISNEXIS, are civilly liable.

Consumer Complaint: There are items on my credit report that are not true, incorrect, not mine, unverified and not my responsibility on my credit file. I am a victim of identity theft. According to 1681 c 2, you must remove and block any information of a consumer in which the consumer identifies as information resulting from alleged identity theft within 4 business days. I have provided the consumer reporting agencies with notification of my identity theft on XX/XX/2022 and XX/XX/2022. As of this moment, the fraudulent accounts remain. My rights as a consumer have been violated. No account can be furnished on my credit file without my written consent. I have given no written consent. This is a violation of 15 USC 1681 a 2. I am demanding that you cease and desist all forms of communication of these fraudulent accounts directly or indirectly to any person through any medium. My consumer report is being used as the medium. Communication is happening when the false accounts on my identity theft report are being illegally furnished on my credit file. My financial reputation has been damaged. I am dealing with mental distress due to this defamation. If these accounts are not deleted immediately, I will not hesitate to take immediate legal action against you and any other furnishers of these false, non-compliant accounts on my credit file.

Consumer Complaint: I have insurance with XXXX XXXX XXXX. My daughter was in a rental while some mechanical issues were being repaired. While in this vehicle, a rock hit the windshield of the rental car while on the highway. I filed a claim with State farm and they advised that the claim was reported to Lexis Nexis as a " not at fault incident. '' However, I am seeking new insurance quotes and they are coming back in the thousands of dollars per month due to this reporting. I am being told that Lexis Nexis is reporting an incident with another vehicle and the claim was placed under liability instead of comprehensive, also I was told by a carrier that they are reporting a payment made over the threshold. There are no details listed stating this is a simple windshield claim that does not involve another vehicle. This negative/inaccurate reporting is causing me a financial burden. I am unable to receive reasonably priced car insurance. I am requesting that this be reported accurately and proof of the change.
