Consumer Complaint: In 2021, found LexisNexis ( LN ) report was inaccurate. While working on corrections, it was suggested that I utilize their " opting out '' process which only resulted in LexisNexis refusal to provide me with a copy of my own file for the past year and also never notifying me if the corrections were made. In fact the first time I asked for corrections, my file which had been 10 pages then became 40 pages with more errors. LN falsely reporting that my son is female and that his email XXXX At no time did LN ever state or write that opting out/suppressing would result in me no longer being allowed to review my information and now being told that my identity can not be authenticated after having been authenticated on numerous occasions in 2021.

Consumer Complaint: Hi, I submitted a request to LexisNexis for my information used for my car insurance. I received a letter with instructions on accessing it. On XXXX, after trying I was unable to and per their website I tried calling and getting a live representative to help me. This was useless. Their phone tree is highly confusing and repeats the same option twice. This makes you think it isnt working. After getting past that I still encountered no option that would help me access my report. The number I called was XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX. The whole process up to now seems to discourage and make it hard for people to access their information and definitely needs an overhaul. I did submit a request for help the same day, but again want to stress that these practices that this business is doing seems to make it pretty difficult to access my information and is taking me way more time than it should.

Issue: Incorrect information on your report

Subissue: Old information reappears or never goes away

Consumer Complaint: Last year I was hit with a {$300.00} fee from my Homeowners Insurance company, XXXX XXXX XXXX, due to an adverse credit report pulled from LexisNexis risk solutions. I was shocked at the time at the amount of money charged based on my credit score being pretty good, but I did not investigate at that time. I just received my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX renewal for XX/XX/23 and there is a {$500.00} charge for bad credit score based on reporting from LexisNexis. That is now {$800.00} in charges for " bad insurance score '' based on credit report from LexisNexis. By the way, this is happening in addition to other massive increases in Florida homeowner insurance, my rate was just increased XXXX! So this time I investigated what could possibly be hurting my score so bad I'm just charged {$500.00} for being a bad person. I requested a report from LexisNexis and received it by mail today or at least it was their system for providing an online secured report. It includes their " National Credit File '' Report and the report is very specific that the information contained within is from XXXX. There are two " bad debt '' accounts listed, one for XXXX XXXX XXXX and another for XXXX XXXX. Additionally, a XXXX account shows three late payments. However, a report pulled tonight live from XXXX shows no bad debt accounts, no late payments to XXXX. All accounts are on time and no late payments reported on my revolving credit accounts. Why a Consumer Financial Protection Bureau report on this? Because this has cost me {$800.00} out-of-pocket so far in adverse reactions to this data. The data is from an old XXXX data pull that contains debts and late payments more than seven-years old. So LexisNexis has created this " National Credit File '' that reports old information from other credit agencies as current. Why is this allowed?! In essence, by pulling data as of a certain date from XXXX and then not updating that information and reporting out on it, LexisNexis has violated my statutes of limitations and FCRA via some " combined report '' that contains data that not even the data source currently contains.

DESCRIPTION OF NON-MONETARY RELIEF In response to your request, the following actions were taken on your credit file : You disputed the following Personal Information on your credit file.
