Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XX/XX/2022 a relative received a call from chase ( spoofed ) that there was fraud on their account and to send money to me. I received XXXX from them through XXXX and was notified by my account settings of the transfer. I contacted that relative and they asked me to send the money back. So I did with in minutes of receiving it. That money never made it back to them because their XXXX account information had been changed but they were not notified of this. I filed a fraud complaint on XXXX XX/XX/2022 for the transaction of sending the money back to this relative but was told there was nothing wrong with the transfer and no reversal would take place. The relative filed a fraud against the transaction of sending the money to me, for which they took the XXXX out of my account and gave it to the relative even though they can clearly see I sent that money back to them through XXXX but it did not reach them. So i am down XXXX. I have contacted Chase 4 times on XXXX XX/XX/2022 between the hours of XXXX Eastern time and XXXX Eastern time and was hung up on each time after they put me on hold to look into the claims that were filed.

Trip ID : XXXX Traveler 's Name : XXXX XXXX XXXX Reservation ID : XXXX Car Company XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX Confirmation : XXXX Pick Up : XXXX XX/XX/XXXX Drop Off : XXXX XX/XX/XXXX We arrived at the location at XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, and the company said they didn't have the reservation on their system. We spent more than 2 hours with Chase XXXX over the phone here. The agents tried to contact the company that didn't pick up the phone and told us they opened a case in the system to provide us with a refund in 72 hours. The agents could not assist with the emergencyno procedure in place to take action in a situation like that. We had to contact a credit card competitor to get an emergency car for the day and the following days from the vacation. ( We will ask to use the travel insurance for compensation for the extra costs/difference price ). All the documents can be provided. We have contacted the Chase XXXX phone line to get an update about the refund from the car rental, and the agents need to know what's happening. According to my phone, we have made several calls with a total of over four hours with customer service and are still waiting for a resolution ( refund ). Today ( XX/XX/XXXX ), we received an email from XXXX asking us to provide " Example : Email from the car hire company offer the full refund, copy of proof of purchase local car hire company '' We never used the service from rentalcars.com. It may be Chase 's third party, but how we explained that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX didn't have our reservation at all. We didn't book a car on that day with them. We used XXXX and the following days with XXXX. Chase has been aware of this problem since day one, so the communication needs to be between the third-party system, the car rental company, and Chase.

I have sent a dispute in this matter. I have had to go through a serious medical issue and being told I had to keep my service with XXXX because of lies and XXXX reasons is unacceptable all monies I gave this company are considered to me illegitimated for whatever services they claim to gave. JP Morgan Chase bank and XXXX XXXX own me for everything they took from me from their lying service and denying me the dignity and respect to leave their service during a critical medical issue and time of my life. their XXXX and need to be charged for discrimination and XXXX.

I transferred the money into an account of the " XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( account number XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX ). The companies account was at CHASE bank XXXXXXXX XXXX I transferred the money by wire transfer from my bank ( XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX area of XXXX XXXX XXXX ). the payments were made on in smaller installments. I realized it was a scam and could not access my funds I reported it to XXXX XXXX XXXX and Chase bank but neither bank has been helpful in recovering my funds. I contacted them XXXX option XXXX many times, they only told me its still under review and they don't have a timeline when we will release the fund ( issue a check for my balance ). They owe me about {$4700.00} for checking account and {$30000.00} for my saving account. As today XX/XX/2022, it has been over 3 weeks, I still did not get any updates from Chase. Originally they told me that they will send a check to me within 10 business days after my accounts are closed. ( XX/XX/2022 ). Chase is being very unresponsive and refused to provide any updates and release the fund. Please help, I need my money to pay rent and cover my living expenses!
