Consumer Complaint: Following was sent to the credit card company, the CHASE Credit Card for South West Rapid Rewards on XX/XX/2022 with Certified Mail to the address shown on the 2nd page of the monthly bill where it says " What to do If You Think You Find A Mistake On Your Statement '', since then they have not replied at all. This is to inform you that there is an error in the billing statement dated XX/XX/2022 on my South West Rapid Rewards Credit Card due on XX/XX/2022 which I am disputing. It should be resolved immediately upon receipt of this dispute letter. I have made two on line purchases with a PO number XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2022 which is shown on the attached XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. It clearly shows on this document I was charged in the amount of {$920.00} which included the sales tax for the two items. Cost of each item before sales tax was {$390.00} and {$440.00} each. After adding the sales tax cost of the purchase was {$430.00} and {$490.00} for each item yielding to the total purchase amount of {$920.00}. Shortly after receipt of these on line items I have returned one of the items back to XXXX XXXX in person as shown on the VISA Statement in the amount of - {$430.00}. However, this amount for the returned item has not been deducted from the total balance due. Both purchase and returned items fall within the same statement period. Therefore, there is a serious error in the statement that I have received, dated due date of XX/XX/2022, this statement did not apply the returned item of - {$430.00} as credit. Yes, it shows it has been returned as - {$430.00} in the statement but it has not been applied as credit against the total purchase amount of {$920.00} and hasnt been deducted from {$920.00}. Total balance on this statement should have been {$490.00}.

Consumer Complaint: I went to purchase a new vehicle at XXXX XXXX XXXX. The finance person I spoke with, XXXX XXXX completely lied to me in order to sell additional products I did not want. She stated on 3 separate occasions that the bank would not approve me for the loan and unequivocally refused to process the sale of the vehicle without including {$11000.00} in optional warranties. I stated I wanted to see the documentation where chase required the purchase of the extra products and she stated the agent with chase stated it was a requirement. She then proceeded to tell me to wait 6 months and I could cancel to recieve a full refund. Once Chase finalized the loan they denied this all to be true and stated the only requirement was insurance. I then proceeded to call the dealership to cancel the warranty only to find that had I waited the 6 months as she stated I would have been no longer allowed to cancel and now the XXXX refund will do directly to chase amd my payment is {$100.00} more than it would have been and there is nothing that can be done about so I am stuck with the increased payment.

Consumer Complaint: On the night of XX/XX/XXXX while passed out I was robbed by a date in my apartment who proceeded to XXXX themselves {$2000.00}. When I regained consciousness about an hour later, I found that my date and phone were gone. Upon checking the status of find my XXXX my device was miles away heading in the direction of his home. Thanks to my XXXX XXXX I also saw a notification indicating that there had been a XXXX transaction from my JP Morgan Chase account to this person. Realizing this person must have memorized my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I quickly called XXXX and Chase to report the theft and fraud. Chase was unable to stop the payment despite how little time had passed. I recounted the story and was told that Chase would be launching an investigation and, in the meantime, would disable my online banking and XXXX. I was able to gather the information I had on the suspect in addition to XXXX XXXX footage from my neighbor that showed the suspect sneaking out of my apartment and running away, which was enough for the police to seek a warrant for his arrest on the felony charge of grand theft. However, on XX/XX/XXXX I was notified by Chase that my claim was denied on the grounds that it was an authorized transaction because their investigation showed that : The transaction occurred on my phone/from my ip address, and occurred through my chase app. I was shocked because obviously being that I was rendered XXXX, and my device was stolen, of course the transactions would occur from my device and IP address, I was XXXX and not able to authorize such charges. Further I'm confused by the fact that this transaction went through with no flags given : Ive seldom used XXXX, The unusual login activity, I have no history of sending sums that large, and The amount was over 60 % of my available checking account. I was told by a Chase representative that I could contest the claim by mailing in any documents that support my case. Given the amount of money involved and the fact that my rent is due and I did not receive a temporary credit, I asked if there was a faster way such as email but was told mail was the only way. However, when I later called to verify the address, the second representative told me I had the option of having a branch employee Fax the forms over refuting the previous representatives claims. I proceeded to fax over the following documents : Police report and victim release, XXXX stolen phone claim, GPS Location history showing the last known location of my phone shortly after the crime, and Ring footage depicting the arrival and departure time of the suspect I've yet to hear from Chase. After being a Chase customer for over 10 years, Im still in disbelief over how little regard they have shown. Theyve truly managed to make a terrible situation all the more stressful, increasing my feelings of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX after an incident that could've easily resulted in my death had the circumstances been different.

Consumer Complaint: Hi, how are you I have already submitted a claim with you guys with Chase Bank that has been a more fraudulent activity that I want to report But it didn't give me the option to upload. The documents. And the fraudulent activity started end of XXXX, and they have not done anything since. I went to close my account, and the guy gave me the sheets to my accounts since they have lost my account over me. Which is totally ridiculous. And I had only a way of taking my balance with this guy who had an extension in XXXX based on his information. I transferred money to the other bank because I wanted to close the account, and also based on the information I could get from Automated. That was the only way that I could actually get my balance. And they charge me {$34.00} or so. And I contacted. The branch manager, which I know they all have extensions, but they gave me her email, and she responded back so much later yesterday. And she said, just to ask for an Atm card when I call last night. People from the offshore answered and wanted me to talk to the dispute department. Or fraud activity department, or stuff like that. Under no, they only want me to show. There show them the ATM card. They're saying that the only thing that they can verify by is the ATM card.I shredded it since I'm not going to use any thing in that bank. So I explain the situation to the branch manager. So she said, you can request a new card, but they are not going to do that. And plus the fact that I asked them to stop the payment from the accounts since I had no access to the account, only have access to my account via the phone, and you can not do that. There are autopay that I did to different places. And I asked them to stop it, and they declined to do so. And branch managers said they're still investigating. I'm asking for compensation for the largest compensation. And I needed to get this resolved very soon. I tell this matter to everyone that the dispute investigation has taken this long and they can't believe this is happening to me. I mentioned and wrote the branch manager an email. Left her many voicemails via the branch voicemail in XXXX and XXXX But then she said, I didn't get any of them. That was just the trick that the. Customer service told me to leave messages for the branch. I don't know how that's possible. That should not, or nobody got their information. As I explained previously that I want to make a complaint against people, who just have acted to help but they are not helpful at all. And they said their name is going to be on my account. My account, I wan na make you complain about the Store any charges from XXXX coin were not authorized by me, which I've explained to contact the supervisor in charge and the customer people were absolutely no help they dint even stop the auto pay when I asked them to so I wouldn't get charged for overdraft fee that I was charged with all the problems that they have caused me. Any transfer to the saving account for the person has done fraud on my accounts to have more money. Moreover, any of the charges on any account for XXXX XXXX. It's not authorized by me. any of the domestic wires were not authorized by me. Moreover, any of the XXXX XXXX XXXX, any of them XXXX XXXX, were not authorized by me. The following charge, which I don't know what it is, also didn't was unauthorized by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/2022 XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Please I need you to take action. I will upload the documents for you. For you to see which was provided by Chase Bank.

Consumer Complaint: I have a business account with Chase for my business that I recently started. On XX/XX/XXXX I deposited a check made out to my company which I did not endorse. Ive never endorsed them before and never had a problem until now. The deposit of this check resulted in my account being frozen and then closed without notice. I only found out because I went to deposit another check and they told me this was a closed account and it had been for days. I only knew my account had been frozen after I called on the XXXX of the same month to enquire why I wasnt able to make payments out of my account. It was then that they informed me that they had a hold on the check but it would cleared in a couple of days. This later turned out to be false because they closed the account after the hold was removed. When I called my client, who was the one who wrote me this check, they told me that the check cleared fine on their end. This was news to me because one of the times I called Chase they told me the problem was on my clients end with their bank. I also went to the branch three times to speak to the branch manager and he tried to help me by calling the deposit review department in Chase. He even requested to speak to a supervisor on that department which didnt help. The Chase branch manager told me that this was not their policy at the branch and pointed out the exact policy he was referring to to the representative on the phone because they were saying information that did not match up with the policy his branch followed. Now, Chase refuses to release my money that was in the account, stating that more checks are under investigation because they need to speak to makers of each check even though they have already been cleared months ago. Another frustrating part of this is is the telephone verifying system that Chase uses. The phone number on the check has to match what they have in the system. They wont call the phone number that is on the check if it is not verified. I have reached out to multiple clients to get phone numbers from them, only to be told by Chase that those phone numbers are not in their system therefore they cant verify the client or their check. Now, they are asking my clients to go to the branch and show two identifications and prove he is the business owner that gave me that check. This has been the latest response they have given me after a month of headache and giving me the runaround on what I should do.

Consumer Complaint: The JPMChase British Air Visa card has a problematic " Float Pay '' program that is implemented in a fashion that is abusive. Payments made to the card are often not reflected in credit availability for sometimes up to 15 days. The bank claims that this is to insure clearance of funds from the paying bank. However, when Chase is withdrawing from my other bank through ACH, there is no excuse for any delay as the reduction from my bank account reflecting the payment to Chase is immediate. The implementation of this policy must change.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021, the bookkeeper at the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( of which I am the XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX ) created a check payable to XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX in the amount of {$10000.00} using our online checking account with Chase Bank. On XX/XX/2021, we learned that XXXX XXXX had never received the check even though it had been cashed and the check cleared our account. After investigating and reviewing the canceled check we learned that it had been fraudulently endorsed as follows : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Pay to the order XXXX XXXX '' and XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX ( XXXX ) had accepted the check. No one at my company or XXXX XXXX XXXX knows this person. After many inquiries with Chase bank and after preparing the attached affidavits we were told by Chase that XXXX required XXXX to investigate. After 120 days we checked again with Chase and were told that XXXX has not responded. We have repeatedly made requests for reimbursement from Chase since then, but we are told every time that XXXX has not responded.

Consumer Complaint: Received msg on computer that it was infected contact info from a supposed XXXX support team identified himself as XXXX XXXX and a badge ( ( XXXX ), case # XXXX tele # XXXX directed how to view programs on my PC and delete invective program. All a mistake on my part. Later I received a calll from XXXX who identified herself as XXXX, an employee in the fraud department of my bank, alleging that employees were distributing customer 's info. She also claimed that someone had hacked my account. She to my chagrin convinced me to have my bank do an international wire to a bank in XXXX XXXX which help trap the hacker. Foolishly I did. on a Saturday afternoon after XXXX, which meant the international wire transfer wouldn't transmit until Monday. I contacted the fraud department at my bank ( Chase ) at XXXX on Monday to cancel the transfer and also filed for cancellation at my branch but the transfer was completed.
