Consumer Complaint: Hello, I am a current credit card and debit card user. I previously spoke with one of your Chase representatives in regards to the Chase plan. I was under the impression that I could take advantage of a Buy Now, Pay later option. Im getting married in XXXX and decided to take advantage of this program. I recently was told completely different in regards to this plan. I was told that my available balance will not change, but Ill have a higher minimum payment. This was not disclosed when I asked numerous questions regarding this plan. I am unable to afford this plan and was hoping to have my account back to the way it was. That is all I am asking for because I can not financially afford this. Im getting married in XXXX and I have a newborn baby. This plan is hurting me more than helping me. Im hoping that someone understands and will be willing to help me. I appreciate any assistance in advance. Thank you,

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022, my friend 's XXXX account was hacked. The hackers asked me for funds, as well as about XXXX other 'friends ' of his. I personally sent them XXXX transactions over XXXX totaling {$1800.00}, before I realized that it was not him. I was led to believe this was an emergency loan until XX/XX/XXXX. I reported this to Chase, who issued me a temporary credit on my account. On XX/XX/XXXX, they rescinded this amount and seemingly returned it to the imposters. I have screen shots of the entire conversation, plus the names of the other people who were scammed. I have filed a report with the FTC also. If I am unable to recover these funds, I at least want to know that something is being done to stop these scammers.

Consumer Complaint: I contacted Chase bank when my ex husband of 18 months got involved in a romance scam for nearly {$10000.00} and I realized that I was still a co- signer on the joint account. He was handed my ATM card at mediation and should have taken me off the account. I had an account in my own name into which I get a paid a small SS payment. I contacted the bank beginning XXXX and they stated I could have a signatory card notarized to remove me or XXXX XXXX could write a letter with proof of ID to remove me. I moved to the XXXX after the divorce ( I have dual nationality ) so XXXX XXXX was asked to do this. My XXXX went to the bank to confirm. XXXX XXXX has failed to take any action and the bank closed my single account with no notice. They tell me to call but no one has a landline to reverse charges internationally and there is a reluctance to converse by secure message and/or email. I am being punished by the bank for my ex XXXX 's stupidity.

Consumer Complaint: Please help me. I was a victim of an employment scam. I applied for a job on what appeared to have been an XXXX XXXX website ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ). I now know it was a fake site. A few days later I received an email from XXXX XXXX Senior Human Resource Manager who offered a me a remote customer service representative position. He emailed me a job interview like questionnaire for me to fill out. After completing that questionnaire, I was informed by the individual via email that I had I received the position. The following day I received an official job offer letter which include the position, salary and benefits. I was informed by that HR manager a check would be emailed to me prior to my start date. Upon receiving that check via e-mail, I had to deposit and make payments to their vendors for the equipment that were meant to be sent to my house. A week later a check was emailed to me in the amount of {$4900.00}. I deposited the check via my mobile banking app with JPMorgan Chase Bank. A day later the funds were available in my account, so I assumed the check had cleared. As per the HR manager 's request I sent a XXXX payment in the amount of {$1900.00} to XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) and two payments totaling {$3000.00} via XXXX to XXXX XXXX. The following day something felt off about the transactions from the day before, so I decided to contact the bank to verify that the check had in fact cleared. I was informed that the check was still pending. After hearing this I realized the check had not cleared when I made the payments the day before. I asked the representative to put a stop payment on both the XXXX ( {$1900.00} ) and XXXX ( {$3000.00} ) payments. She informed me that she was able to stop the XXXX payment. However, was unable to stop the XXXX payment. A few days later JPMorgan Chase emailed me and inform me that the check had been returned due to it being fraudulent. I contacted Chase Bank in regard to what had happened to me. They told me since I authorized the transaction it wasn't considered fraudulent and refuse to open a fraud case and reimburse the funds.
