Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 my online banking account was hacked. I was a victim of fraud/scammed. I received a call from what I believed to be my banking institution, JPMorgan Chase. The rep asked me if I initiated a wire transfer, I advised her that I did not. While placed on hold I entered my online banking and could see money leaving from my account. I instantly got in the car and headed to the bank. By the time u arrived XXXX wire transfers in a total of XXXX was stolen. XXXX wire for XXXX XXXX for XXXX. I informed my bank, made a police report, closed all accounts at chase and got new accounts. The money appears to have went to someone named XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX. These XXXX wires I was informed were not in Texas where I live. Chase has refused to return my money stating that someone must have stolen my information and this is not on them. I am reaching out in dire need of help. I was informed the device used to process this transaction was XXXX never logged in before on my account. I have never made a wire transfer ever from my accounts. Chase still declined my money. I've banked with Chase for over 15 years. While I was being hacked I was at XXXX dealership getting my car serviced. I have provided docs to support this as well.

Consumer Complaint: I was reviewing my bank account that I use for my second job. As this is for my second job, it was not checked as often as I should have. But on XX/XX/XXXX I reviewed my account and saw a few large purchases that were not made by me nor did I authorize anyone to make. I contacted chase bank and informed them of this. They began to ask me about every charge from XXXX to XXXX and I informed them I was driving and couldnt check every purchase at the moment and the claims department informed me they would just submit the claims for the three I was most concerned about. Few weeks later they deny the claim because my pin was used and because I didnt claim enough charges. I told chase that my pin was stupidly set as my girlfriends birthday, anyone who knows me could guess that. I called chase back and they told me I would need to go through all my records and dispute as much as I could I went through all my charges and called chase back. They told me they will not review the prior claims again and that I should have disputed more and there was nothing I could do. I even informed them from the beginning my card, ID and my cell phone were stolen. They are refusing to investigate any further on those three charges. Those charges are : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX {$290.00}, XXXX {$83.00}, and XX/XX/XXXX for XXXX {$110.00}. I informed chase I havent shopped at these stores in probably more than 7 years. Again they said they will not investigate further. I know went through all my charges and today, XX/XX/22, disputed : XXXX {$35.00} XX/XX/22 XXXX : {$8.00} XX/XX/22 XXXX XXXX : {$12.00} XX/XX/22 XXXX XXXX : {$11.00} XX/XX/22 XXXX : {$11.00} XX/XX/22 XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX {$13.00} XX/XX/22 I am concerned they will once again just say no and not allow me any further action like they are with the first 3. This has been incredibly stressful and chase has only made matters worse. The first time I disputed they sent me another card, and today I learned that the person with my old phone that has XXXX XXXX hooked to my old card can use my new card as well. After I told them it was stolen! What are they thinking.

Consumer Complaint: I am a small business owner. My Chase credit card terminal ( merchant services ) was stolen from my office at XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/22. After finishing up with police and CSI for fingerprints, I called Chase merchant services to report that my terminal was stolen and asked them to de-activate my terminal and to stop any transactions from XXXX XXXX that morning. I told the rep from Chase merchant services that all transaction from XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/22 were un-authorized. Do not dispersed that funds because they are unauthorized by the owner myself. The rep from Chase told me that since I called and reported this incident at XXXX XXXX on the same day, the funds from my account were not settled yet. So that Chase was able to stop the transactions from the criminals. ( The rep told me that from XXXX to XXXXXXXX XXXX, there were 25 refunds and charge-backs back to some unknown accounts and stolen credit cards ). However, the next day, those criminally acted refunds and chargebacks were still dispersed into those criminals ' accounts. My checking account which linked to Chase XXXX terminal ( merchant services ) was wiped out clean 24 hours later. I lost all of my savings just like that. I contacted Chase several times, informed them that those were un-usual activities and large amount of money per transaction that I had never done before for the past 5 years that I have done business with Chase. Chase should have noticed those un-usual activities and contacted me before Chase dispersed those un-authorized funds to those criminals. All Chase reps said was that they can't do anything to help. Chase reps and bankers all are aware oXXXX XXXX of their terminals being stolen every year. And police department of CA all are aware of this type of criminal activity of just stealing credit card terminals from small business owners. Thousands of small businesses owners being hurt by this and big bank like Chase are not doing anything to even stop or trace those un-authorized funds. Please help me and help those small business owners who are doing their part of running a business, pay taxes and trusting their hard-earned money to big bank like Chase. And all I heard from Chase was Chase can't do anything about it. Chase owned and engineered those XXXX terminals that I trusted to use them. But at the end, that terminal that I bought from Chase wiped-out my life savings.

Consumer Complaint: I am a customer of Chase Bank and have been for many years. I have a checking and savings account and they hold my mortgage. I feel like this is the same as holding me XXXX. I pay my loan on time and I don't agree with setting up anything as automatic payments. I'm not sure if this is within their rights to force me to do automatic withdrawals. Thank you for your time.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 upon checking my online banking account with chase bank I realized there was a pending transaction for {$9000.00} and {$10000.00}. I immediately went to the bank and asked them to cancel these transactions, because I did not make them. The bank informed me that they were not able to put a stop payment on these transactions so I had to file a dispute. I filed a dispute that day. After this Chase informed me they were not going to return the {$9000.00} because they decided it was a legitimate transaction. They gave me a provisional credit For the {$10000.00} transaction while they investigated. Over the next 45 days I checked in with the bank multiple times to explain to them that the {$9000.00} transaction was not legitimate and I needed my money returned. XX/XX/2022 I realized Chase took the provisional {$10000.00} credit back out of my account causing my account to be - {$10000.00}. I called the bank and I spoke to about XXXX representatives the last person I spoke with said that she was going to put a stop payment on this {$10000.00} and also put a stop payment on the {$9000.00} Check that was cashed already. I didnt understand how she could do this and why this wasnt done in XXXX. She said the money should be back in my account within XXXX to XXXX hours. I thanked her endlessly and I told her I appreciated her and she really saved my entire business only to find out that she indeed did not put a stop payment on anything instead Chase took the remaining {$4400.00} I had in the new bank account that I had made with them whenever my first account was compromised they took that money and put it in the account that was - {$10000.00} and left me with no money now my business is closed. I have no money I am in debt, and theres nothing I could do. These charges were not made by me and Chase just let me be robbed! I even gave them a police report to verify I reported the theft to the police. I dont know what else they wanted for me to prove that I did not make these transactions. Claim number XXXX

Consumer Complaint: We had a chase sapphire card that we used for years. It was my wife and mine primary card. We would pay off the balance monthly and ensure there were no late payments. Out of nowhere in XXXX we were informed our account would be closing. When I called Chase they said they couldnt tell me why. They then closed my account at the time they said and hit me with a settlement on my credit report for the outstanding balance of the card where the payment wasnt due. It affected my score and I received notices from the credit agencies about the settlement. I want to know how they are allowed to do this and contest the settlement on my credit score. I appreciate any help you may provide.
