They refuse access to her XXXX social security check and have even refused to return it to Social Security when they asked XXXX for it back. I also have a XXXX XXXX XXXX in the trust name that matured in XXXX. They refuse to cash it out. Ive been to XXXX separate branches for help and have received none. Consumer Complaint: We were taken advantage of ( me and XXXX XXXX ) by an employee at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX She sold us insurance products that we didnt know we are buying. Sneaky way. She used XXXX that we dont understand and took our money without even knowing. We rented a car on XXXX and the car was with XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. It was promoted at {$27.00} a day and We paid for the collision coverage ( insurance ) so the total with everything was about {$100.00}. Then we took our flight from XXXX to XXXX ( XXXX ) and went to the counter. She didnt get the reservation number and started asking which car we want so we told here whatever is on the reservation. She started asking about insurance coverage and we told here we already bought it and paid for - XXXX room about {$78.00} from my XXXX card and told us we will pay about {$27.00} at the rental car desk. So when the employee took our card we thought thats what she will charge - she started explaining the coverage of insurance and we thought she is explaining what we already bought - she then asked me to sign in the credit card machine so I signed ( didnt see any policy or options on their just a blank signature space like we usually do on credit card processing machines ) Then they charged my card about {$150.00} in addition to the {$78.00} they charged my XXXX XXXX - {$230.00} for a XXXX XXXX rental for a basic car- I did agree to buy gas at {$2.00} per gallon and I did mention we will use less than a gallon since we will XXXX XXXX from airport to hotel and back ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) the employee confirmed it will be only {$2.00}. I need my money back- I paid XXXX {$78.00} and was told will only pay {$28.00} additional or so I need my {$120.00} back - I need justice Our had been taken and our credit card dispute department said if you paid in person we wont be able to dispute against the company. Consumer Complaint: I filed a claim for unauthorized charges on my business bank account with JP Morgan Chase on the XXXX of XXXX from XXXX a payroll company. XXXX gave me 3 months free service and charged me fees on the XXXX and XXXX of XXXX. On the XXXX of XXXX I notified JP Morgan Chase of the error. The bank requested documentation to credit the account. I was unaware that XXXX would be charging my account. There were two charges {$870.00} and {$190.00}. I requested that the bank dispute the charges. I tried to work things out with the merchant directly and was unsuccessful. I ask that JP Morgan Chase withdraw the claim, and that I would reopen it if the merchant did not honor their promise to credit the funds to my account. This discussion happened on the XXXX of XXXX. On the XXXX of XXXX, Chase sent me a letter saying that the case was resolved but never credit the account as they were supposed to. I have given the bank overwhelming evidence to dispute the account. Today, I requested that the bank reopen the claim and they told me that " the bank would not reopen the claim because of the probability that there would be a back and forth situation of processing the claim. '' I was not clear on what " back and forth '' means and so I decided to file this complaint with the CFPB. I am requesting the bank return the funds back to my account. The bank has enough evidence to do so.

'' The washed check was cashed by JPMorgan Chase Bank on XX/XX/2022. On XX/XX/2022 I reviewed my monthly statement, found the activity, notified JPMorgan Chase, XXXX California XXXX, and the XXXX California Police Department of what happened. The XXXX who came to my home ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) completed a report and assigned a casefile number of XXXX. Subsequently, in XX/XX/2022 I received notification from the XXXX XXXX ( CA ) District Attorney 's Office that there is a Court CaseNumber of XXXX for XXXX counts against XXXX XXXX XXXX relating to this incident. I have been working with the local JPMorgan Chase Bank branch, providing them with updates as I receive them, and the branch manager has also been working to get the {$410.00} reinstated to my account.
