Consumer Complaint: I have a credit card account with Chase Bank. I received an offer for a balance transfer at 0 % for one year with a 4 or 5 % fee. I made that balance transfer {$2500.00} about 2 months ago. On my recent statement I noticed that I was charged {$38.00} interest I called customer service to find out why I was charged this fee. I was told that since I had a balance transfer at 0 %, I no longer get the 30 day grace period on regular purchases. ie interest rate started on the day I made the purchase. I requested that they wave/refund that fee, and the representative and his supervisor were unable to wave that fee.

Consumer Complaint: In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. The JPMCB account below has violated my federally protected consumer rights to privacy and confidentiality under 15 USC 1681. Account name : JPMCB CARD ; Account number : XXXX According to 15 U.S.C 1681 section 602 A., I have the right to privacy. According to 15 U.S.C 1681 Section 604 A Section 2, a consumer reporting agency can not furnish a account without my written instructions. I NEVER gave JPMCB written instruction to furnish anything onto my consumer report. I want them to delete this account from my consumer report. According to 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 ( A ) ( 1 ) A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. JPMCB is aware that they are violating my rights as a consumer. I have disputed this account. I have sent them a letter. I have called them. They seem to have a blatant disregard for the law. Furthermore, the Fair Credit Reporting Act 15 U.S.C. 1681 ( 2 ) ( a ) ( i ) Exclusions from a consumer credit report clearly states : ( 2 ) EXCLUSIONS - Except as provided in paragraph ( 3 ), the term consumer report does not include- ( a ) Subject to section 1681s-3 of this title, any- ( i ) report containing information solely as to transactions or experiences between the consumer and the person making the report. A late payment falls under the category of transactions. They should not be on my consumer report. JPMCB has violated several laws at this point. Not only that, they are even reporting inaccurate information to my consumer report. I want this account deleted from my account immediately.

Consumer Complaint: There was a promotion for my chase freedom unlimited card holders which is called my chase plan. Where for a single transaction it could pay installments. I set up this feature. And chase bank generated the statement on XX/XX/XXXX of which due date was XX/XX/XXXX. And XXXX setup a payment from XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX which was returned. And then Chase again re run the payment on XX/XX/XXXX and it went through successfully. So the XXXX statement was paid before the due date. Due to some issue with Chase bank system they posted the amount twice. And generated a wrong statement on XX/XX/XXXX. As I saw the transaction have been posted wrongly online, I called chase on XX/XX/XXXX and informed. They asked me to wait until next statement processed. And I called again on XXXX I called with the XXXX statement about the error. Customer service representative took my complaint seriously and promised me to fix it. As it was not resolved I called again on XX/XX/XXXX and let them know. They told me previous person who recorded the complaint had a mistake so they couldn't fix the statement and he is going to fix it and will be fixed by XX/XX/XXXX. I didn't see the correction on my account so I called them on XX/XX/XXXX. Now they say that they can not fix the statement as it was already generated. I tryed to file another complaint for what happened and the customer service representative or her XXXX who answered on XX/XX/XXXX is not helping to resolve their accounting error.

Consumer Complaint: I submitted a {$340.00} payment to XXXX, XXXXXXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2022. The merchant booked a hotel I was not expecting to stay. With days of no response, I submitted a dispute, got the credit but then I got a call from the merchant with an updated reservation. Immediately in good faith, I cancelled the dispute and authorized a rebill. The new charge {$340.00} was posted on XX/XX/2022. After a month on XX/XX/2022, my reservation was cancelled. The drama began. The merchant insisted that there was no rebill. My bank Chase, declined my dispute three times. They refused to credit me the {$340.00}, three months after the initial charge.

Consumer Complaint: I took out a British Airways Credit card by Chase bank sometime in XX/XX/2022. When I took out the card, it was advertised that I would get a {$500.00} statement credit and when I complete the purchase of an airline ticket worth around {$2500.00} I got a screen prompt that I would get the said {$500.00} statement credit. Ever since, I have reached out to Chase and British airways for the statement credit and this was never given. I first called XXXX who claimed Chase operates the card, after numerous attempts to reach Chase I was told initially told that this would be investigated. I later spoke to an Agent via phone, who assured me that I would get the statement credit, and the credit of {$500.00} would appear on my account, she also apologized for my troubles and made notes on the account to that effect. Because of her assurance, I kept the account running. After a month I called Chase again only for them to tell me that I was not entitled to the {$500.00} as my purchase didnt qualify for it. At this point I asked my account to be closed and hence my decision to complain.

Many times I have tried to upgrade my checking account to " sapphire '' and opening an investment account, most recently last XXXX. The internet program did not permit this, and when I called up they said they can not do this for someone with an overseas address. The banker said to supply a US address. I do not care to lie about my residence. This is quite frustrating.
