Consumer Complaint: I was contacted by IC System ( Debt Collector ) about a {$40.00} debt that was owed to a Cable provider ( XXXX ). They had the wrong address on file and had an incomplete last name and wrongly spelled first name on file. They said I owed a debt from XX/XX/XXXX but said the actual amount was for equipment in XX/XX/XXXX. I did not use any cable equipment in XX/XX/XXXX. I contacted my cable company ( XXXX ) and they said they do not see any outstanding charges under my name. I believe this may be someone else 's debt because the address was wrong and the spelling was off. I am worried about my credit score and will be taking appropriate steps to contest this charge. I do not understand why I am being notified about a debt date marked as XX/XX/XXXX but it references XX/XX/XXXX equipment. Account number referenced was XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I have sent several disputes to the collection agency and to the credit bureau regarding an account IC Systems is reporting on my credit reports. I have asked them to send a copy of a signed agreement and account history as proof that the account belongs to me. They have responded with a settlement letter and a payment invoice created by their company. They continue to report the debt without legal validation of the debt in violation of the Federal Debt Collections Practices Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act which requires that all information reported be accurate, complete and verifiable.

Consumer Complaint: Approximately 2012, I had subscribed to pet insurance through XXXX hospital for my furry loved one. After a period of time, I felt I could no longer afford the monthly payments for the premium and called to cancel my his coverage. Several years later, I found an item on my credit report stating that I owe the company $XXXX!. When I called to ask, they said, they had record of my cancellation but that I am still responsible for the remaining bill. This seemed fishy and don't feel comfortable paying for a bill for which services haven't been provided.

Consumer Complaint: Back in XXXX, I was admitted to XXXX XXXX to receive treatment for XXXX. I had to visit the ER 3 times, and not once did anyone tell me that my insurance was covered. XXXX of XXXX I noticed that my credit had gone down by 200 points, only to find out I had all of these unpaid XXXX bills that my father said were taken care of. IC Systems called me for the first time in XXXX and that was the only time I learned that I had these things against me.
