Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2018 I received a call from IC SYTEMS INC when I was told by one of there agents that I owed a collections account in the sum of {$690.00}. The agent went into the details of the account to state that this account belonged to me. I stated that I do not remember anything about this account & it is not mine. I have since received a VERIFICATION from IC SYSTEMS INC that they used to say this account is mine. The only problem is that the SIGNATURE on the VERIFICATION info used IS NOT MINE!!! This IS NOT MY ACCOUNT & the SIGNATURE on there verification IS NOT MINE. This has to be some type of fraud or identity theft. Please at once remove this collections account completely from my credit report. I will be submitting proof of my signature along with the verification used by ics systems. You can clearly see that the signature ics submitted is not mine

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I got an alert from my XXXX account stating that a new collection was on my account from IC Systems in the amount of XXXX. I never received a call or letter from them stating that I had this debt. I remember earlier in the year showing a collection account on my credit from XXXX totaling the same amount. I notified them and was given information regarding the debt, and I told them that wasn't mine debt, because the service address was one I never lived at. The rep told me at that time that I need to submit an identity theft packet to XXXX who was the one reporting the debt. I completed the packet and even got it notarized, and submitted all the information to XXXX. The debt was deleted from credit report. However, now the same account is being reported through another collection agency. I've reached out to them and made them aware that this debt is fraud, and that I submitted the necessary paperwork to XXXX to remove this debt. This morning I received another alert saying that IC Systems flagged the my credit report again. Collections Agency : IC Systems Debt company : XXXX Account Number : XXXX Date account was opened : XX/XX/2012 Collections Reference number : XXXX

Consumer Complaint: This account should be removed from my credit profile of all three bureaus because the creditor has failed to provide documentation of the debt as well as their right to collect for the third party. I have never heard of the third party company which this creditor is collecting for.

Subissue: Debt was paid
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I received a written communication from IC Systems in XXXX. XXXX MN offering to settle a debt for 25 % of the balance owed. The account is on behalf of my son and I am the individual financially responsible. The written correspondence came directly from the company and stated the percentage amount and amount to be payed to settle the debt completely. I contacted the company on the morning of XX/XX/XXXX and spoke with an individual stating I could pay the amount via their online payment center. I paid the amount stated in the correspondence received from IC Systems to settle the debt in it's entirety on XX/XX/XXXX. I then contacted IC Systems to confirm receipt of the online payment. They confirmed, however, they then said that the offer sent dated XX/XX/XXXX offering to settle the debt for 25 % / {$480.00} was incorrect and that additional money was owed. I stated that I had talked with someone that morning, and that was never stated. Also, I was in receipt of the unsolicited offer from them, with the specific percentage and the amount owed to settle the debt. I also stated that I paid that amount based on their unsolicited offer to settle the debt in full. The individual would only state that the letter was sent in error. They then sent a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX - 3 days after I paid the amount in the original offer and having talked with a second IC Systems representative - stating the original letter was sent in error. The second correspondence was extremely brief and did not provide nearly the same detail as the first letter and was clearly written in response to my phone call. I feel this is fraudulent. I am in receipt of t he original letter sent by IC Systems offering the settlement and I have my receipt showing that amount paid in full. They are now attempting to say that the original offer was invalid, although they accepted payment. I did not solicit the original offer and I feel they engaged in fraudulent and misleading practices and should be expected to honor the original offer they sent, that was paid - again, per their written offer. The debt was settled based on their offer and should be honored. To come back after the fact should be considered fraudulent and harassment.

Consumer Complaint: After the equifax breach there were a lot of fake charges and I was able to get all but one expunged. This fake {$170.00} " IC Systems Collections # XXXX " original creditor XXXX XXXX '' is not valid as I have used XXXX for many years and haven't used " XXXX XXXX '' for about 8 or 9 years and when I had it they directly deducted their payment from my credit card with no issues. So this is FAKE FAKE FAKE and I can not get XXXX to understand this-there is no intelligent human life there to work with and I am up to hiring an attorney for {$5000.00} down just to fight to get my credit report to be accurate with XXXX. I pay ALL my bills including credit card 100 % each month, no balance EVER, and I just paid my second mortgage balance IN FULL so it isn'r about money, IT IS ABOUT HONOR AND HONESTY!!! Thank you for helping me.

Subissue: Information belongs to someone else
Consumer Complaint: When checking my annual credit report ( for the first time ) I seen 2 collections on my report for services I did not authorize. I filed a complaint with XXXX regarding the following : Report Number : XXXX Date Generated Results : XX/XX/XXXX I C SYSTEM INC Account XXXX Many years ago I had my identity used by a former roommate. After I had moved out of an apartment we were sharing, I found out later, he had put the utilities and cable in my name. How I believe he took my information was we had went to the movies and after the show, I couldn't find my wallet. I thought someone pick-pocketed me, and stole it. I didn't have any credit cards ( I was just out of college ) or even a checking account, so I wasn't concerned at the time. Move forward months later, HIS dog, a golden retriever, was playing with something chewed up, and when I pulled it from her mouth, it was MY wallet. So I confronted my roommate, and he denied ever seeing it and accused ME of misplacing it. I brought up that I had paid for the movies that night the wallet came up missing with money from MY wallet, and how would I be of possession of something we both clearly looked for and alerted the movie manager. Needless to say, I moved and relocated closer to my family here in XXXX. Now that I found that he put the two accounts in my name, and left them in a delinquent status, I am once again being used by my former roommate. I tried to remove both these accounts, and the one listed above is the first one back with a [ denial ] response. Also what amplifies this matter is that the company above, in lieu of using the initial dates as previously reported, they moved the date of negative payment to THIS year. Is that legal? I'm sure if I didn't make an attempt to remove this, the charge would have fallen off soon, because I haven't lived in XXXX XXXX XXXX, Florida since XX/XX/XXXX. What, if anything, can you do to help me with this situation? Please advise. XXXX
