Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt is not yours
Consumer Complaint: I discovered a negative statement on my XXXX credit report from the following company : IC System Inc. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, MN XXXX The statement references a supposed debt of {$350.00}, owed to a company called XXXX XXXX. I have advised both XXXX and IC System Inc. on multiple occasions that I dispute the referenced account in its entirety. I have never heard of XXXX XXXX, and I have never used their services. On XXXX XX/XX/2018, I submitted correspondence to IC System demanding that they provide me with documentation supporting their claim. To date, they have failed to comply with that demand. XXXX 's response to previous disputes has been that, based on their investigation, the information provided by IC System would remain on my report. I can only conclude that their investigation consisted solely of asking IC System if the claim was valid, and accepting their positive response ( with no supporting evidence to prove its validity ) as truth. Because of IC System Inc. 's inability to support this claim, or their failure to do so in a timely manner, it is their responsibility to remove their derogatory comment from my XXXX credit report. Im not interested in the posting of a statement that the claim is in dispute. I want the claim completely deleted from my record.

Consumer Complaint: **Timeline of events DATE : XX/XX/XXXX I received a written notice in the mail dated XX/XX/XXXX from I.C. The letter contained no date of service, itemized bill, address of the creditor, or the services rendered for the charges in question NOTE : Written notice was receivd from IC systems on XX/XX/XXXX approximately 35 days after the date written on the original letter - Consequently, I was not sufficient time to review and respond to the notice within 30 days. DATE : XX/XX/XXXX I contacted the Toll free Number on the IC System notification letter XXXX and was connected to a representative named XXXX ( Employee No. XXXX ). XXXX informed me that according to the IC System records, the collections notice I received is listed as medical with a date of service XX/XX/XXXX. I explained that per my search on the internet, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX does not exist and appears to be an either fraudulent or illegitimate company. I informed XXXX that to my knowledge I received no medical treatment in XXXX and I have certainly never had any services rendered at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I asked XXXX for the name of the doctor that I was allegedly treated by as well as the exact medical procedure performed ( XXXX, XXXX XXXX, testing, etc. ) XXXX told me that she did not have that information but that she would place a note in my file to request the itemized bill. XXXX gave me the telephone and account number of the creditor and advised to contact them for details. Next, I called the number I was given ( XXXX ) XXXX. I spoke to a representative named XXXX in the billing department. XXXX informed me that I have reached the billing department for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, Maryland. XXXX confirmed that they have no record, date of service or charge due or charge due in my name for the year XXXX. I was told by XXXX, that my account is at a zero balance and no payment is due. Furthermore, XXXX informed me that they ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) has no affiliation of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, nor have they even heard or worked with such a company. After the call I conducted a web search of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, MD and could not find any legitimate site on the world wide web. Date : XX/XX/XXXX Incident : I called IC systems toll free number to describe my findings ( per incident on XX/XX/XXXX ). I spoke to two representatives. The first was XXXX ( employee no. XXXX ). XXXX was not attentive during the call and repeatedly cut me off mid sentence when I attempted to explain that I have been erroneously sent collections by a seemingly non-existent and or fraudulent company. I asked to speak with a manager and was transferred to XXXX XXXX. XXXX informed advised me to send IC systems a written notice to request an itemized bill so that a hold will be placed on my account and that the collections notice would not reflect on my credit report. Date : XX/XX/XXXX Incident : Contacted the billing office for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and spoke to XXXX ( session no. XXXX ). Was told that there is no balance due on my account. XXXX also reiterated that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is not affiliated with XXXX XXXX XXXX and they do not use I.C. Systems for their collection statements. Date : XX/XX/XXXX I faxed and mailed a Debt Validation Letter to IC Systems requesting the following : 1. Identify the original creditor. 2. Copy of the original contract with electronic signature between IC System and the original creditor. 3. Name, Address ( street name, number, zip code, etc. ) telephone number and website URL of the original creditor. 4. Original itemized bill from the creditor 5. Proof from IC systems response that you are licensed or bonded to collect debt in my State of residence Maryland. 6. Complete Transaction History. My request was for IC Systems to email the validation documents to me. To date ( XX/XX/XXXX ) I have not received a response either from the original creditor or I.C. Systems.

Consumer Complaint: Requested written documentation with my original signature from collection agency by certified mail also informing them that they had 30 days to provide documentation. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, MN XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX C/O IC System Partial Account # XXXX They failed to do so and I submitted a second letter demanding they remove debt from 3 major credit bureaus because they failed to provide requested documentation. Approximately 10 days after the 30 days passed I received a letter from Collection agency with documentation that had a signature not belonging to me and another individuals name not belonging to me. All letter disputes were mailed to credit bureaus. XXXX XXXX did not remove debt but in turn sent me a letter stating the debt was valid. The letter XXXX XXXX mailed to me has incorrect middle initial in my name, which makes me think they have wrong information or incorrect spelling of my name on my credit report. Equifax requesting more information to identify myself. I would like to submit a complaint regarding the signature and validity of this debt not belonging to me.

Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt was result of identity theft
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX an account was opened with XXXX XXXX in my name. The Account was opened in Michigan. XXXX ran my credit. On XX/XX/XXXX the account was closed for non payment. XXXX filed a collections report on my credit bureau in the amount of {$630.00}. The collections filing dropped my credit score 65 points. I was notified by my mortgage lender that there was a serious delinquency that impacted my mortgage approval. My mortgage lender provided me with the name of the collection agency, IC Systems in XXXX, MN. I contacted IC Systems, and proceeded to go through the information in their file. Even though none of the information in their file was correct, nor despite the fact they couldn't prove the debt was valid, they refused to remove their erroneous credit bureau filing. I contacted XXXX. They would only have me submit a claim of Identity theft. They refused to contact the collections agency to tell them to remove the information. Funny thing is I live in XXXX XXXX, and have for the last 10 years. During the whole time I've lived in LA I've been a customer of XXXX. How do they open a new account for a new customer on the other side of the country using my information when I'm a current customer? Do their systems not detect this? Anyway, XXXX XXXX refuses to remove the information unless IC Systems removes it.IC System won't remove it without XXXX paying them. This is wrong. I'm losing my mortgage and my deposit on the house of {$30000.00} because of this nonsense? This is just not right.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2018, I received a credit alert that a new collection account in the amount of {$110.00} has been added to my XXXX credit report ( I assume it will be added to my XXXX and XXXX reports as well ). The company listed is I C Systems Collections. I have never received any communication from this agency ( no letters, phone calls, etc. ), and I have no knowledge of this debt/account.
