Consumer Complaint: On the month of XXXX, a collection agency IC systems started reporting an open credit of {$290.00} from XXXX XXXX XXXX. This company has come out of nowhere and damaged my report for a service I havent had in years. Also, back in 2015 I paid XXXX XXXX off in full. Its been almost 3 years since I had service with XXXX XXXX and when I did have service they were paid in FULL. I return all equipment back to them the year of XX/XX/2015. All of my debt has been settled with this company years ago. I have never had an account with IC systems ever and they are damaging my credit. Also, this company is false reporting things to XXXX. This account does not show on any other credit bureau but XXXX because it is false. I called this company multiple times between XXXX and XXXX, and spoke with representatives but no one can tell me why this account appeared. Also, this company has never sent me a statement saying why I owe this amount of money. This is effecting me with potential job opportunities and my current job with the city. Its also making my credit score lower as well which it hard for me to finance a new home and other things. I never had a debt with this company, and dont know how it came about. If this agency continues to report negative inquires on my report, I will file a civil lawsuit on this company. I will be contacting a lawyer to help me with this issue if its not settled.

Consumer Complaint: IC Systems contacted me, claiming I owed a debt to XXXX. I submitted a written request for a copy of the original debtor 's agreement, and stated that a bill generated by a purported creditor alone would not suffice as proof of a debt incurred. That any entity can generate a bill, and the creditor MUST produce evidence of agreement to enter into a creditor/debtor relationship in order to validate the claim of a debt owed. Despite my request, IC Systems simply and solely provided a copy of a bill from XXXX dated XX/XX/17. The bill indicates a " Previous balance '' of {$23.00}, with {$0.00} payment received, and " New Charges '' of {$20.00}. No payment was received because no agreement between myself and XXXX ( or XXXX ) exists. In short, I did not sign up for their service, I did not agree to be indebted for their service and I do not agree to pay for their unsolicited service.

I looked them up because I have never heard of them. It appears they are a cable tv system or such. I have never had cable tv in my life. Dont have a need for it so I have never purchased it. Furthermore, I asked them to provide me with MY identification used to open the account and they are unable to do so. It is NOT mine and MY identification was NOT used to create this account. Therefore, I want this account removed because it is NOT mine and they dont have any identifying proof of my identity showing that it is.

The letter sent requested proof of contract or application obligating me to this debt this company claims I owe. I C System has only provided a copy of bill dated with my name on it as means of validation. This is not considered proper validation under the court of law. No chain of command, application, or contract, containing my signature has been provided on behalf of I C System. I C System is in violation of the fair debt collection practice by continuing to report this account to the consumer reporting agencies as well as attempting to collect on a debt without proper validation.
