Consumer Complaint: IC Systems Collection agency reported a alleged medical debt of {$1400.00} to the credit reporting agency from XX/XX/XXXX I received a credit alert. I contacted the collection agency on XX/XX/XXXX and question the debt and why I was not notified in writing, which the letter was then sent a week after my telephone. I have repeatedly verbally ask the collection agency to validate this debt by sending me documentation and not just a itemized bill. I asked that it can be sent either from them OR the original creditor directly to me due to any HIPPA laws. I have called to follow up on several occasions.Dates of contact were XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX. I kept getting the same response " the original creditor has not responded ''. I sent a electronic request via IC Systems Collections website to dispute on XX/XX/XXXX, again no information was sent and I lastly sent a certified letter on XX/XX/XXXX. This is becoming so overwhelming and is also effecting my credit score.

Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: IC Systems Inc. has continued to reflect a derogatory account entry on my XXXX credit report despite my efforts to challenge the validity of such. IC Systems has not once notified me of this alleged debt in writing. In particular, per FCRA, I was supposed to have received a dunning letter from them whereby I would have had 30 days to dispute the validity of such account. To date, I have yet to receive anything from this company. I have never heard of this company, nor have I ever conducted any business with this company. The mere fact that they blatantly placed this erroneous entry on my credit report and continue to report it is causing further detriment to my creditworthiness. In my review of this account entry, ( see attached documentation ), as IC is reporting on my XXXX credit file, they stated that the account was opened in XX/XX/2017 and they started reporting in XX/XX/ 2017. How then, did they allow 6 months as per the Affordable Care Act for any insurance payments to process? They did not provide the financial responsibility statement nor any documentation to support or justify this alleged debt. In short, this entry is erroneous and unverifiable and must be DELETED immediately due to IC Systems forfeiting my rights under consumer law.
