Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Information belongs to someone else
Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2017 I noticed that IC Systems/XXXX was shown on my credit report as a collections account. I contacted them to confirm the address for the service because I had evidence of paying my XXXX account prior to relocating out of the state of PA. The address they provided was an address that I have never lived and during the time the service was provided, I showed evidence that I was living in VA. I submitted all of this information to all 3 credit bureaus ( XXXX, XXXX and XXXX ) so that the erroneous information would be removed. My credit report also showed the address where XXXX service was provided and I submitted evidence to all 3 credit bureaus advising that I never lived at the address they had on file. Each credit bureau removed the collection account as well as that address listed based on the written documentation provided. At the end of XX/XX/2017, I received a call from XXXX attempting to collect on that same debt that I had the credit bureaus remove and I advised them again that this was not my debt since I had never resided at the address where XXXX provided service. I was told that in order for me to stop the collection calls, I needed to fill out a form for fraud on their website. I completed this as required but received a letter advising they would not process my online form unless I could provide a police report for identity theft.. When I contacted XXXX XXXX ( VA ) Police Department they basically advised that since I was not sure who stole my identity, I should have been able to dispute this with documentation evidencing my previous address during the time the services were provided by XXXX. On XX/XX/2017, I submitted a letter to XXXX ( attached in this complaint ) advising them of this and provided all supporting documentation to evidence that I never lived at the residence and I never heard back. Today I received an alert from XXXX XXXX that a collection account has been added to my credit report from IC Systems and the original creditor is XXXX. This has caused my credit score to go down XXXX points. It has been 2 years since I sent the letter to XXXX and they have never responded but have sold this debt to IC Systems again and is now showing as a collection on my credit report. I have never received any information or telephone calls since submitting my letter to them 2 years ago. I have submitted a letter to the 3 credit bureaus again to have this removed from my credit file

Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 I submitted a request to XXXX for them to update and investigate inaccurate information from IC Systems that is reporting an account on my file that is from an account that I never opened with XXXX XXXX XXXX. They have been unable to send a contract from the original creditor showing the account is accurate and valid, while Transunion is completing their investigation after only 7 days. This shows that XXXX is violating the 30 day rule and are siding with the debt collector without doing the proper investigation to verify the accuracy of this account on my credit report, due to this fallacy I ask that this account be removed from my credit report and for my information to be updated. If not then I have no problem with taking my case to an attorney for advice on this matter

Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive notice of right to dispute
Consumer Complaint: I checked my credit report and noticed that ICS System was reporting on my credit report. I never received a notice about the debt or given the opportunity to dispute. When I contacted the company one representative could not locate a letter that should've been sent to me. They drafted a letter to send to me after i called. I sent a certified letter on XX/XX/XXXX to them requesting more information and I never received a response. from them. They placed the items on my credit report initially without notifying me in advance and giving me the opportunity to dispute ;.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX IC System wrote a letter to my late father concerning an alleged debt from XXXX XXXX. This allegation had no merit, and in any event XXXX is permanently barred from any collection against the estate as a matter of Texas probate law. On XX/XX/XXXX I wrote to IC System informing them that their allegation of a debt was fraudulent, and invoked the estate 's right under the Fair Debt Collection Practices act to prohibit all further communication and demand verification of the debt. On XX/XX/XXXX IC System wrote another letter in WILLING, KNOWING, AND DELIBERATE VIOLATION OF 15 USC 1692c, 15 USC 1692e, and 15 USC 1692g.
