Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2019 a collection company mailed a collection notice to our old business address stating our utility company had sent our account to collections for {$630.00}. I assumed this must be some sort of mistake and had planned to send them a letter back disputing the debt. Today I get a notification that my credit had changed. I just paid off my one of my credit cards 2 days ago and had expected a small change but an increase. Much to my surprise when I log in I see my credit has plummeted by 93 points on one and 69 points on another and FICO 's dropped by 40 points. XXXX won't do anything about it. We moved out of our old location 2 years ago. We have not received one notification, one e-mail, no certified mail, no phone calls nothing about there being a remaining balance. In fact at the time we cancelled our account we we had overpaid because we had a deposit on the account. We were told by XXXX staff that if the deposit didn't cover our final bill we would be sent documentation to support that. If it did, nothing else needed to be done. We never heard anything else from them until I received this collection letter a couple of weeks ago. I have AVIDLY been working to get my credit to where it needs to be bringing my score up nearly 200 pts in the last 18 months. It would be stupid to let a {$630.00} balance ruin what I have worked so hard. If it was valid and the documentation supported it I would have paid it. Honestly, I probably would have paid it just to make sure something like this did happen. One other point about this I am uncertain of. The damage to my credit is being done by an " Account '' being added as a closed account that was closed and placed for collection for the amount of {$410.00}. It says the account was closed XX/XX/2019 which differs from the collection notice. We had two bays at my previous location which incurred 2 different utility bills every month so I am curious if there is going to be a second hit if this collection notice for {$630.00} is one unit and the {$410.00} is another unit. I will upload the collection letter and the information about the closed account. The accounts shows 5 years of history yet there is no payment history, not high balance, no monthly payment, no late payment info, no worst payment status. Nothing, just closed with a balance of {$410.00}. You will also notice the documents are being mailed to our old address at XXXX XXXX XXXX. We setup mail forwarding for 6 months after moving. Additionally we only moved a 1/2 mile down the road to a bigger location. We had the same mailman and as a result he would give us our mail even if it was mailed to the wrong location. So regardless they had 6 months to send notification of the balance and we would have definitely received it. They also had my e-mail address on file and could have send notification that way as well. Lastly, I have lived in the same house the entire time, where I also could have been mailed something. So to be clear I am disputing the collection charge for {$630.00} and the " closed account '' with a balance of {$410.00} that is harming my credit.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX Attempted to purchase and activate a children 's smartwatch at a XXXX location in XXXX, TX. The XXXX sales representative failed to get the smartwatch to activate/communicate with my XXXX XXXX XXXX phone as the parent phone. The XXXX sales representative cancelled the transaction and refunded or voided all charges. XX/XX/XXXX I received a bill marked past due for the XXXX account canceled in XXXX. I returned to the XXXX store and showed the same employee the bill. With help from his manager and after a long conversation with corporate XXXX it was discovered that the smartwatch transaction was not properly cancelled and that I was considered a customer still with an account. The manager, working with corporate XXXX over the phone again cancelled the account and voided any debts. XX/XX/XXXX I received a collection notice from ICSystem for {$10.00} which lists XXXX as the original creditor. I returned to the same XXXX store where the staff confirmed that this fee was associated with the smartwatch transaction and should have been waived but was told that they could do nothing to correct the issue now that was with collections. The XXXX staff recognized that the debt was invalid and noted it as such in the notes on my account. ( see attached image of notes )

Consumer Complaint: I had an outstanding bill with XXXX. The bill was directly paid through XXXX. IC Systems reported a collection account on my credit attempting to collect the same debt through XXXX. When I spoke to a supervisor at IC Systems, I requested that the collection be removed from my credit because I did NOT pay IC Systems. Rather than IC Systems removing the collection account they sent me a receipt stating that I paid a balance in full of {$1200.00} to them. Which is false. I never agreed to paying IC Systems, i never paid IC Systems. The payment was with XXXX and ONLY XXXX. This has negatively impacted my credit by lowering it more than 30 points, which has also risked my purchase of a new home!!

Consumer Complaint: I received a notice from IC Systems about a bill for XXXX for what I found out was a modem that I had from their company. I called XXXX and spoke to Supervisor in Collections, explained to her that I didn't have the modem any longer, the tech came out to upgrade my services and told me to throw away the modem as they no longer use this model its outdated. This bill is NOT valid as the XXXX tech to me to get rid of the modem as its not compatible with their service anymore. Why would I keep a modem that I cant use? Makes zero sense to me.
