Consumer Complaint: Around XXXX of this year, I checked my credit report for the first time in years. After reviewing my credit, I noticed addresses where I never lived and accounts reporting that I didn't recognize and did not open. After this I learned in XXXXXXXX my personal information was a part of the Equifax Data Breach and has been used to open credit card accounts and loans. Several credit card accounts were opened ; XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX There was also an auto loan from XXXX XXXX XXXX listed on my report that I did not open. Multiple collection agencies were also on my credit report that I have never done any business with ; XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I have reached out to the XXXX major credit bureaus ( Equifax, XXXX XXXX ) on multiple occasions but have not had any success in removing these fraudulent accounts. The bureaus continue to respond to my dispute of these accounts as verified providing no proof on who opened these accounts. I filed an identity theft report with the FTC which I will attach to this complaint along with the letters that were sent to the bureaus.

Consumer Complaint: I am a victim of identity theft and have made this clear to this company. I sent the first letter to them on XX/XX/2023, letting them know I am a victim of identity theft and that 2 accounts were opened in my name. I went on to ask them to validate the accounts and remove them if they couldn't. I sent the second letter to them on XX/XX/2023, letting them know that I know they have 30 days to verify the disputed accounts and that I haven't heard from them yet. I sent the third letter to them on XX/XX/2023, letting them know that I still have not heard from them and that further action would be taken if they do not uphold the law in this matter. I told them that I fully intend to pursue litigation in accordance with the FCRA. I am sending the fourth letter on XX/XX/2023, notifying them of my final written offer of settlement before litigation as my attempt to resolve their continued violation of the FCRA regarding their refusal to delete unverified information from my consumer profile. I will inform them that I intend to seek relief and monetary damages under FCRA section 616 and section 617, being that it has now been over 30 days with no verification results from them. I have also filed an Identity Theft Report with the Federal Trade Commission regarding this matter. At this point, I can not confirm if they have done a single thing to protect me and my credit.

The reporting of excluded information pursuant to 15 USC 1681 a ( d ) ( 2 ) ( A ) ( i ) on a consumer report is a clear violation of Metro2 compliance. Provide me with the Metro2 compliance disclosure on reporting transactions to a consumer reporting agency. I need the transactions reporting as late, collection/charge-off status and any other derogatory information deleted from my consumer reports effective immediately. Before you think to reply that this account has been validated, lets be clear that I am not asking you to validate or verify anything. So please do not respond by telling me that as a tactic to waste my valuable time. Some of the negative accounts have been placed in Collection/Charge-Off Status WITHOUT mailing me a copy of IRS form 1099-C Cancellation of Debt. XXXX, XXXX, Equifax and the creditors reporting collections/Charge-Offs, late payments/other derogatory information in my consumer report are in violation of XXXX XXXX ss XXXX Returns Relating to the Cancellation of Indebtedness By Certain Entities. If this derogatory account information is not deleted from my consumer reports within 30 days, I will be forced to officially file IRS form 3949A : Information Referral AND IRS form 211. Application For Award Original Information Overview with the Internal Revenue Service against ALL entities involved.

Consumer Complaint: As per the law when a charged off is reported its considered as certificate of indebtedness, which is consider income and should not be reported on one 's personal credit report. 1022.21 Affiliate marketing opt-out and exceptions. as per 15usc 6802-6805 obligations with respect to disclosure of personal information, XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX is in violation of this very code. I also have a right to opt out and wasn't aware of any disclosure from this company. XXXX XXXXXXXX is also in violation of the Privacy act of 1974. this was sold to a 3rd party debt collector, violating its own agreement therefore this should be removed from my personal credit report. Also, 15USC 1681 ( f ) Prohibits and person from using or uptaining a consumer report unless, the consumer report is obtained for purpose for which the consumer report is authorized to be furnished. See attched credit report for inaccuracies on all XXXX reports.

Consumer Complaint: There is a fraudulent account for a timeshare company XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) listed on my credit report. I know the account is fraudulent because I am a victim of identity theft. A police report was filed, a report with the FTC and I have sent separate certified letters to both the company XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX ) and the Credit Bureaus ( Equifax and XXXX ) disputing this account. I asked for validation of this account and a signed contractual affidavit showing that this was indeed my account. I received documentation from the credit bureau as the item being updated but nothing showing a signed contract. I have yet to receive any documentation from the company ( XXXX XXXX ) regarding this account. This account is currently listed on my credit reports as a negative item with a balance of {$9000.00}. I have never had an account with ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) and do not even own a timeshare. I have never utilized any services related to this company. The company claims to have no record of my disputes but clearly I've even filed past grievances with the CFPB regarding this same issue. The misrepresentation of this negative account is egregious. I have provided identification proof showing the different name variation and address utilized when this account was opened. The information was not mine. The data furnisher also have yet to provide any type of proof regarding this account. I keep getting the same run around answer with the credit bureaus and the original creditor. I WANT THE PROOF! I don't want your updated status without proper verification.
