Consumer Complaint: Hi, I called Equifax to report that my credit score dropped by XXXX points, without any acceptable reason. My activities have effectively been unchanged, I maintained more or less the same balance on my credit cards, have not opened any new accounts with associated hard enquiries into my credits. Typically, my credit score ranges by +/- XXXX points - this is acceptable due to impacts with small changes with credit card balances etc. However, no explanation or reason for why the sudden drop by XXXX points between XXXX and XXXX of XXXX. I went over the details with both an associate and supervisor for Equifax on XX/XX/XXXX with call reference # XXXX. All they offered was to send my credit report to me- which I already had and was the basis for my making call to them. The only change I note over the year was my debt burden went down overall- but this should be a positive not a negative. As I have continuous and good credit history - no defaults, late payments etc.
