Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX I had issues with XXXX XXXX when I transferred to XXXX it took XXXX over 3 months. XXXX XXXX gave XXXX the run around with the finale bill. I sent XXXX several times US REG Mail to the issues. They had already put the account on my credit file before they settle the finale bill with XXXX. I also called them over 120 times to this situation that was going on. I mail them REG US Mail and then some one call back said it was being sent up to a higher department with no results to the issue and they never resolved the issue and I kept calling them with no results always some one is working on the issue.

Consumer Complaint: I recently received an alert that a collection was added to my XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX credit report. The report showed a collection from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, stating that I opened an account with XXXX on XXXX XXXX, XXXX, and owed a balance of {$660.00}. I contacted the collection agency and told them that I 've never had a XXXX account and that I do n't owe them {$660.00}. I also asked them to provide me with proof of a written contract stating that I opened a XXXX account on XXXX XXXX, XXXX, and they refused to provide me with such documents. I also called XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX to dispute the collection and the collection was removed from XXXX, but not XXXX and XXXX. Please have this collection removed from my credit report because it is making a very negative impact on my credit.

Consumer Complaint: I had a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX account that was charged off. I spoke with XXXX XXXX in XXXX of XXXX and agreed to a settlement of {$770.00} to be paid by XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I was told a letter confirming this settlement agreement would be sent out within 10 business days and I went ahead and paid {$150.00} towards this agreement on or around XXXX XXXX, XXXX. On or around XXXX XXXX, XXXX I contacted XXXX XXXX again to inquire as to where the letter confirming our agreement was and that I was hesitant to make payment to them without confirmation of the agreement. I did not receive a letter. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX I contact XXXX XXXX again and told them I was upset that I did not receive the initial letter and that they had made it frustrating to repay my debt. They offered to settle the account for {$650.00} to be paid by XXXX XXXX, XXXX, an amount that is higher than what I originally had remaining to be paid. I request XXXX XXXX send me a letter confirming this agreement and again raised concerns about not receiving it the previous time. I never received the letter and on XXXX XXXX, XXXX I received a letter dated XXXX/XXXX/XXXX from a XXXX XXXX indicating they had been hired by XXXX XXXX to collect an outstanding balance of {$870.00}. This initial demand letter I believe violates several portions of the FDCPA as does XXXX XXXX 's misleading actions.

Consumer Complaint: This company XXXX XXXX XXXX is using some real shady tactics here, let me tell you. I found out about this debt from my credit report. I was never ever informed on this debt, I have n't needed XXXX XXXX since I left a fixer upper home in XX/XX/XXXX. Somehow the new tenants got the power back on in my name, probably because bills were still coming there for power.I have contacted XXXX and they will do zero to fix this, said to call the cops. I did and they said it was 7 years ago so they cant do anything. This was put on my report as current, and went delinquent in XX/XX/XXXX. Which in fact is false. It went delinquent in XX/XX/XXXX. I disputed this charge, said the balance history was incorrect. They updated and said it is not. It is not fair that these companies can out and out lie when you dispute things. If this is not fixed or deleted I will be contacting a lawyer for damages. a XX/XX/XXXX delinquency hurts my credit FAR MORE then the correct age of XX/XX/XXXX. This is not fair to the consumer and they should be fined!!!!! I have called them even to notify them of their error and they refuse to fix this. The below Bill shows my last payment was XX/XX/XXXX and they said it was partial. Acct was put delinquent XX/XX/XXXX Power was Shut off and XX/XX/XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I 'm sorry to say I don ; t have the exact date I purchased a wireless home phone from XXXX but it was in 2016. It came with a 14 day return policy no questions ask, so, because of low quality performance on the equipment I decided to return it within 7 days, remember I had 14 days to return it. So I took it in to the XXXX store here in XXXX, tx only to here them say I would owe a restock fee, that 's strange because at the time I made the purchase the sales person never once mention a restock fee, I informed them of this fact but they insisted that I owed the restock fee. The said it was in the paper work but they neglected to inform me of this. They became rude and started calling me trying to collect this restock fee but I refused because of their neglect to inform me. So now XXXX has turned it over to a company called Convergent XXXX XXXX the account number is .... XXXX I had already been in the hospital with a XXXX issue going on and did n't need this kind of non sense. Now they ( Convergent ) has reported this to XXXX FICO 8 score further damaging my report. I want this non sense removed from my report. Thank you in advance for your help, I have herd you guys are great with helping people resolve issues. Thanks XXXX

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX To whom it may concern : I need assistance from your agency. Recently I applied for, and was denied a loan, due to the fact that a collection company by the name of XXXX XXXX, has placed a falsified, fraudulent collection debt on my credit files. This XXXX XXXX XXXX, has placed a falsified collection debt with a status date of XX/XX/XXXX on my credit files, as though I have had a recent outstanding balance owed to XXXX in the amount of {$500.00}, and none of this information is true. In XX/XX/XXXX, at the end of my contract with XXXX, I paid my last bill in full, and I have had nothing to do with that company in over 4 years. Back in XX/XX/XXXX, my sister and I were on a XXXX cell phone plan together, and during the time that we had that plan, everything that could go wrong for us with XXXX, and this plan did. We purchased telephones from them, and the phones were just garbage, constant issues, we were constantly trying to get assistance from their customer service, either by telephone, or we had to constantly go to one of their stores. Finally in XX/XX/XXXX at the end of our contract, we both paid our bills in full, and we transferred to another service provider. Supervisors XXXX XXXX, and XXXX XXXX from XXXX can verify what I have stated, my sister and I had dealings with them both at the ending of our contract in XX/XX/XXXX. This XXXX XXXX, has never contacted me regarding this fraudulent collection account prior to them placing this fraudulent debt on my credit files. Just a few months ago, I had to get my attorney involved, because XXXX had, had another collection agency to place this same fraudulent debt onto my credit files, and my attorney had contacted the other collection agency to remove the fraudulent collection from my credit files, or be sued. This XXXX XXXX is tarnishing, and ruining my credit rating by placing this fraudulent collection debt onto my credit files, and I want this fraudulent debt removed from my credit files immediately, and I want hard copy proof on their letterhead that this has been done. I would also like proof that they are licensed to collect in my state, as well as I would like them to provide their license numbers and Registered Agent documentation. I want XXXX XXXX, to cease and desist, I do not owe this fraudulent collection debt, or I will seek legal action against them. I want XXXX XXXX to reply directly back to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and the Consumer Financial Bureau can contact me. This foolishness has to stop, and I want the Consumer Financial Bureau involved every step of the way.

Consumer Complaint: A debt company called XXXX XXXX reported a claim to my credit report, and kept calling me repeatedly with alleged debt, I sent a letter asking for validation of the debt, which should under my rights of FDCPA include 1. The agreement bearing my signature stating that I have agreed to assume the debt 2. Proof of statute of limitations that has not expired 3. Agreement with the creditor that authoritezed them to collect on this alleged debt and a few more, in repose to my letter to proof validation of debt this company only sent a screen shot of there computer screen which does n't included anything I asked and not does it validate the debt, they also sent me a list of states they are able to collect and my state was not one of them, I called the number provided XXXX to ask why they did n't send the proper documentation, they kept transferring me from agent to agent after about 5 transfers and no answers to my question I asked for a manager and I was denied, and I kept getting talked to in inappropriately and hangued up on. This Company needs to find ways to better assist consumers.
