Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2017 I notice a collection from XXXX XXXX XXXX for the amount of {$970.00} from XXXX XXXX and I disputed the collection with XXXX and they couldn't fix anything in my credit report because I have an ITIN Number. Now I don't know how to remove that collection from my credit. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX Their phone number is not valid. There is no way to contact XXXX XXXX XXXX. I called XXXX XXXX collection department and they said : The account was open in a different name and address than mine. Don't worry they said, we are going to investigate this fraudulent account. Its been about 5 months today and XXXX XXXX XXXX still show in my credit report and now I got a call and a letter from a different collection agency ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) saying same thing, I own to XXXX XXXX {$970.00}. I contacted XXXX XXXX and I'm disputing this supposedly new collection hoping that it will not show in my credit report like the one from XXXX XXXX XXXX because i called Called XXXX XXXX Sales, Billing and collection and customer service again and they just either hang up on me or they just wouldn't find the fraudulent account. I need help and resolving this issue since XXXX XXXX is not taking the necessary action in my behalf. XXXX Bless

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX is the collection agency that XXXX XXXX sent my account to. 2 months ago, they took my balance of {$550.00} off of my credit report. After about 3 weeks they put the amount back on my credit report and reported that account was opened on XX/XX/2017 which is 100 % false. I tried to call CONVERGENT and they could not even find my information in their system. They should not be able to remove that from credit report then enter it again with a new date that is fabricated.

Consumer Complaint: A collection of {$52.00} was placed on my credit report by XXXX XXXX. I contacted XXXX XXXX, the original creditor, who stated I have no current or past due balance with XXXX and they would contact Convergent to remove the entry from my report. This incorrect, negative information is still reporting on my credit reports.

Consumer Complaint: I checked my credit reports and XXXX had a listing for a debt collection agency ( XXXX XXXX, XXXX ) for a XXXX account I never had. I disputed it at XXXX and sent XXXX XXXX, XXXX a letter of my dispute. Today I received their response, " This debt is valid, attached is verification of the debt '' and a copy of a XXXX bill with my name and an address and state I never lived at. In my research this seems to be a common scam.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX is attempting to collect on a debt that they are aware is over 10 years old. I've notified them that the debt is old and it should be removed from my credit report. They told me " they don't report to the credit bureaus '', which as I understand is a very old tactic. I asked for proof of the debt, which they sent, and confirmed that it was old and should not be reported on my credit. I again requested that they remove the debt from my credit report. They have not complied and are telling me that the debt is still valid when they were never holders of the debt and the utility company is no longer collecting on the debt, as it has aged out of their system.

Consumer Complaint: I received multiple letters from a company called XXXX XXXX , XXXX stating that I owe and outstanding balance of {$660.00} on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX. The original creditor is listed as XXXX XXXX XXXX. The XXXX XXXX XXXX is located in XXXX XXXX, which I have never lived in, nor lived near. I have never opened an account with them in anyway ( savings, checking, credit, Auto ). I also ran a full credit check for all three credit systems and the supposed debt was not listed anywhere on the reports. I have attempted to contact XXXX XXXX, XXXX multiple times over the course of two weeks and can never reach anyone there. I only get dropped to an unknown voicemail asking to leave a message. There are zero options to get to a real person to actually try and correct this issue. All documentation has been held and is available for full disclosure if needed.

Consumer Complaint: I have contacted this company and asked them to validate this debt and to send me the original contract from when this account was first started, they in return sent me someones bill saying the debt has been verified! Verified by who? I do not know because I am still waiting on the contract with my signature that I originally asked for. Under the fair credit reporting act I have a right to see the contract of anything that I allegedly owe. Several times I have sent the same letter to the company, with the first date being back in XX/XX/XXXX and I still have not received what I requested. As a bill from someone ( not me ) is not validation. I dont know who opened this account but it was not me
