Consumer Complaint: On or around the end of XX/XX/XXXX, my wife spoke with XXXX XXXX and requested that all cable services removed from our account, they did not offer the channels we wished to watch and were planning to a web based service and wanted to keep the high speed internet service the representative was very rude and told my wife she was stupid to not keep the cable channels offered at which point my wife demanded that they turn off service and with in the week she took all cable and internet service boxes to the local office and dropped them off we were told when we dropped the boxes off we no longer owed any money. We then moved to another town as I work construction anyway I never signed a contract for anything I never received a bill stating that I owed anymore money. Until XX/XX/XXXX when it showed up as a collection on my credit report I have been working hard to improve my credit and this showing up like this has caused major problems for me and even though I know in my heart that I do not owe this debt I even called and offered to pay the full amount if they would remove it from my credit report at which time the representative informed me that they didn't do that Now I'm almost deaf but I informed him what point was it in me paying a debt I didn't owe if they were still gon na leave it on my account I understood him to say he didn't care jut wanted the money which is extorsion. I had also sent two letters to Convergent Outsourcing Inc. requesting verification of any money owed to them the sent an itemized bill that does not show the return of all equipment and does not bear my signature a teenager could have made such a bill at the library anyway I am just frustrated these people are ripping people off left and right and I pray that this complaint will resolve the issue. This is a small amount of money to be causing me such a major problem please help.

Consumer Complaint: This student loan has a Max Delinquency date of XX/XX/XXXX and the account was closed and transferred to a collection agency as of XX/XX/XXXX. Per the FCRA, this account due to being a private student loan should have been removed from my credit XX/XX/XXXX at the earliest and definitely by XX/XX/XXXX. As of today, XX/XX/XXXX, the account has not been removed form my credit. We are outside the allotted 7 years that this debt is allowed on my credit per the FCRA. This was a loan that I co-signed for my brother when he was in school. I have only even had one student loan in which i have never missed a payment on. Below I have attached proof of the date of collection for the original account and the collection account with fees being added to it.

Consumer Complaint: My daughter received a debt collection letter from Convergent Outsourcing IncXXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, Wash., XXXX - phone XXXX This company said my daughter owed {$49.00} and the account was placed with them for collection. But Convergent refuses to tell us the alleged merchant or company who is owed the {$49.00}. We have no bank, credit card or XXXX records of any transactions for {$49.00}, so this is a scam. They did eventually give us a phone number of the company and it was XXXX 's phone number. This makes no sense because you have to have a credit card or bank account connected to a XXXX account, so a XXXX account can't be past due. Convergent Outsourcing is a scam. I've contacted Convergent but they are unwilling to expunge this. Please look into Convergent. As I said, this is a scam. XXXX has no record of accounts past due so they are trying to collect on a bogus claim. So there's nothing past due. Convergent Outsourcing made this up to try to rip us off.
