Consumer Complaint: Approximately 10 - 12 years ago I deposited money into a new account and also had given Wells Fargo {$500.00} for overdraft protection. The employee then made multiple accounts with that money in my name. The bank manager found this out for me* - when I asked for the money back they told me.i wouldn't be allowed to have it. Also they forced me to pay - {$200.00} overdraft ( which should have been protected! ) I never asked for multiple accounts but in the news I saw around that time that Wells Fargo employees were doing this to make their " new client '' quota 's and get bigger bonuses. I was taken advantage of and to this day nothing was done to make it right.

Consumer Complaint: I check my account on a daily basis and since I don't make a lot of money I sometimes have to pay bills 2-3 later than I want when I pay with my debit it will show pending for more than 2 days which is not normal if I pay a bill and it shows that it is posted and not pending it's should have not been returned I sense that this is a manipulation of funds and that debits are posting later than sooner.

Consumer Complaint: I was contacted by what I thought was a remote job from XXXX. They claimed to be XXXXXXXX XXXX and used the name XXXX XXXX. They sent me a check in the mail from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to be used to purchase work materials for the amount of {$4900.00}. Upon depositing the check into my Wells Fargo account on XX/XX/2023 they began asking to send the money to different places and the check was found to be fraudulent and now my account is negative that amount and I do not have the money to pay this back. This was a scam and I should not have to pay this.

Consumer Complaint: I called Wells Fargo numerous times to get a credit card i never applied for removed. I went into a bank branch at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to replace a damaged debit card and was told that due to our commercial account being in good standing we were pre approved for a XXXX line of business credit. They had me fill out a form and came back and told me i was denied. I thought pre approved meant no credit check. The bank teller named XXXX ( who is no longer employed by Wells Fargo ) informed me that i was approved for a XXXX credit card instead. I turned down the credit card flat and she informed me that the account was already opened. This is i believe a bait and switch. Anyway i refused the card. They apparently mailed out a card to someone and claimed that it was used by me. I do not have their card nor have i ever accepted the card. They opened it without my permission, admittedly closed it to a XXXX balance and opened a second card and issued it to XXXX knows where and whom. I filed a complaint under the class action XXXX vs XXXX for which a settlement check was sent to me for 900 something dollars. Wells Fargo refuses to abide by the settlement and continues to dispute my dispute with the credit agencies that i do not owe them anything. Instead they have me listed as owing them over XXXX XXXX dollars. Please help as this has been ruining my credit for the last 5 to 7 years.
