Consumer Complaint: My ex spouse set up an account with Wachovia in XXXX ( I believe, it may be another year ) ; for child support to go into. It was a custodial account with our minor children listed as recipients. Wells Fargo bought out Wachovia & the account never seemed to read the proper balance so I was continuously being charged fees and they would take up all of the child support payments for my kids. His current wife & him decided to use the statements from the account he set up for the kids to answer credit mailings sent to their residences in multiple states ( they were XXXX XXXX, I am a medically XXXX veteran ) and created many false credit lines. It caused repeated financial strain, homelessness, & food bank lines were a way of life for us due to all the erroneous fees charged on this account. I believe I finally got fed up with them in XXXX and the account closed out organically as I went to the child support office and had the payments sent to my XXXX account. The damage was already done, my credit was ruined. I couldnt find a rental as a XXXX veteran with XXXX young kids. I believe there was a credit card at one point before my XXXX bankruptcy as well. I currently hold a XXXX card with the company as I did not realize the affiliation with Wells Fargo until I received a statement & didn't want to have to do another credit pull as I had just purchased a home at the time I signed up for the credit card.

Consumer Complaint: I had a mortgage with wells Fargo and unfortunately Lost the home during that period I applied for many loan modifications and worked tirelessly with the company to try to save my home at the end it was sold on short sale. I saw on the news about wells Fargo owning people Like me money I called the company and they keep telling me they have no records of my mortgage which I find odd its been 7 years and I dont have any records from that such as my loan number. I feel with my social security number they should be able to locate my account.
