It has been 30 days and you are in VIOLATION of this law because I am a victim of identity theft!! Please delete these items IMMEDIATELY! These accounts should not be furnished on my consumer report as they are in VIOLATION!!! Consumer Complaint: we had a hurricane and received a settlement w/ the insurance company thru an attorney of {$57000.00}. Of that money {$32000.00} went to us to fix our roof and rest of the home. the rest went to the tarp company and the attorney. Wells Fargo told us if we were spending under {$40000.00} to fix our home then we would get the checks signed off and given back to us. We gave them the closing statement and the settlement agreement. After {$46000.00} was signed off by wells fargo, wells fargo said they would have to hold the last {$12000.00} check until the house was inspected. We were leary about sending the check to the south carolina location so we consulted with the local office and the branch manager there said we could hold onto the check, and have the inspection. Then when the inspection takes place as long as 75 % of repairs are done wells fargo should release the check to us and endorse it. So we had to pay for our roof on the credit card and had made wells fargo aware because we were only working with {$20000.00} left after we paid out the attorney and the tarp vendor. Wells Fargo even had the audacity to ask how are we going to fund the project since they are not releasing the final funds to us. We had begged them to release the money but they said they consulted with XXXX XXXX and it was XXXX XXXX who would not agree. I called XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX said they don't make individual calls like this. So it seems Wells Fargo is misleading people. So last Monday, XX/XX/XXXX, we had an inspection and the inspector said we are 100 % complete in our repairs. She sent a receipt on XX/XX/XXXX showing she uploaded the report saying it was sent to wells fargo around XXXX. The online system continues to show we are still pending to have an inspection as of yesterday XX/XX/XXXX. I called wells fargo today and was on hold for 10 minutes and then got hung up on. I called back and spoke to a XXXX. I asked the status of our check since our inspection was completed 6 days ago and why was this not updated at the XXXX website where people can check the status. I told her I was going to report this to CFPB. She put me on hold for 10 more minutes and refused to let us know if our inspection has been processed by wells fargo and if we can take the check our local bank to get endorsed so we can pay for our roof on the credit card. She said we have to call back monday to speak to the executive department and we will be assigned a case manager. This process takes up to 10 business days which means we may not get our answer for 10 more days or our check endorsed for 10 more days. I believe Wells Fargo engages in stall tactics and deceptive practices to try to keep the insurance claim the money in the escrow account from customers who have had hurricane damage. Hence I am reporting this as we are suffering distress enough from the hurricane and months of enduring tarps on our home and haggling with the insurance company and now haggling with the mortgage company causing us more severe distress. We pay them on time every month. I was told several months ago by a supervisor at Wells Fargo that if we submitted the closing statement from our Attorney showing the breakdown of attorney fees and what we are getting to fix our home, {$32000.00} we should have no problem but that was not the case. Even with the inspection that was done and the inspector saying we did 100 % repairs we are being stalled to get our last settlement payment freed up by this bank. I know Wells Fargo was recently in the news for bad practices regarding illegally repossessing automobiles hence I feel I need to report this to the CFPB for investigation. They also were reported for a prior hurricane for not releasing escrow funds to customers we recall reading.

Consumer Complaint: Good day, My complaint is against Wells Fargo for improper use of my information, I reached out to them personally after getting nowhere disputing unlawful reported information on my consumer profile to the third-party reporting agencies my dispute is for the LATE PAYMENT there choosing to report and LATE PAYMENTS are illegal according to the LAW Which states 15 USC 1681A ( 2 ) ( A ) ( i ) ( 2 ) consumer report does not include- ( i ) report containing information solely as to transactions or experiences between the consumer and the person making the report. I did not give permissible propose to report, sell nor furnish any of my private information and this was on XX/XX/XXXX they reached back out to me and said they received my inquiry and will get back to me well XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter in the mail saying and I quote under Credit Reporting : Per the enclosed Consumer Credit Card Customer Agreement & Disclosure Statement ( Agreement for your account Wells Fargo may report information about you to consumer reporting agenciesetc but what they fell to recognize or acknowledge what is and what is not apart of ones consumer report by LAW which I stated and pointed out to them and they bluntly dont care and choose not to follow the LAW about unlawful reporting so Im filing this complaint and contacting other institutions, to outline the clear and obvious breaking of the law after I notified and Warned them of this inaccurate and unlawful reporting without my written permission which is also identity theft according to 15 USC 1681b ( 2 ) several laws have been broken but there not the only corporate just one of the last ones on a journey to reclaim justice I hope you can aid me in this matter maybe they will get a better understanding of what is and is not allowed by LAW upon someone consumer report because LATE PAYMENTS ARE NOT

XXXX reviewed the claim and supposedly the house and sent over damage estimates. Wells Fargo was paid {$51000.00} on XX/XX/2023. XXXX sent the claim payment to XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX is not a part of the XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX and should not have received any information or payment on behalf of the XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX. Wells Fargo, again, has committed another fraudulent activity to obtain money from a home while the home is in short sale. They accepted the short sale offer and the insurance claim check. Our Short Sale Group, XXXX XXXX XXXX was not made aware of the insurance claim. To date, they are still uninformed of the claim or insurance payment. Emails of the short sale and insurance claim correspondence is attached below. Again, there are no incident reports for a fire on XX/XX/2023 at XXXX XXXX. Wells Fargo need to be sued and shut down. I'm sorry this information is beyond me. We also didn't receive any information of the incident, claim, and payment until after XX/XX/2023. The letter is postmarked XX/XX/2023. Photos and documents are included. Did Wells Fargo set the fire?

I received another communication from Wells Fargo, again asking for proof of coverage between XXXX and XXXX. This time, I called the number on the letter [ 5 ] XXXX phone call log from XXXX, where I called Wells Fargos Hazard Insurance Processing Center. I pointed the representative to the documentation that I had already uploaded that satisfied the requests. The representative agreed with me, said that they would update their system, and told me that no further action was required on my part & that I would not be charged. However, I received another letter from Wells Fargo saying that I was charged {$100.00}. [ 6 ] XXXX letter from Wells Fargo indicating a {$100.00} charge for a lapse in coverage between XXXX and XXXX. I replied to all communications in a timely manner and provided satisfactory documentation, even getting confirmation from the Wells Fargo representative. I believe that this charge is unjustified, and should be refunded in full.

I accidentally use XXXX linked to my checking account to send out {$1000.00} this early morning XX/XX/2023 around XXXX. The recipient got my payment and refused to deliver the concert ticket as promised. I realized that it's a fraud/scam and immediately reported to my bank Wells Fargo this XXXX opening XXXX dispute cases # XXXX and # XXXX. Besides filing the dispute, I also urged the bank to request a chargeback and attempted to cancel the transaction as it showed pending status. However, the bank informed me that it will take up to 5-10 business days to get someone assigned and to investigate. I told them the process is too slow as it happened on the weekend night and the fund is possibly being drained by the recipient already. I am asking your assistance to urge Wells Fargo to look into this dispute case as soon as possible and work on the chargeback request and also attempt to cancel/reverse the transaction on my behalf so I can get my {$1000.00} back. Consumer Complaint: The incident happen XXXX, 2022. I can't remember the exact date when this happened. My emailed was hacked as well as my phone, and lost my wallet as well. Someone deposited a check into my checking account some where in XXXX Florida at a Wells Fargo bank without my permission. I was unable to get into my wells Fargo app due to password was changed on a lot of my accounts as well as my XXXX XXXX was hacked too. I found out that XXXX was deposited into my account and that the check that was deposited was returned for non sufficient funds leaving my account in a negative. I reported my card lost to Wells Fargo, but didn't know what was going on in my account at the time of reporting it lost due to I couldn't see what was going on with my account. Went to the bank on a Tuesday to find out that it was in a negative and told them that I didn't authorize to deposit any checks and I was no where near XXXX for that weekend. When I was in XXXX working the whole time. They closed my account and stated to do an investigation on my account. They sent me a check for XXXX cents when I know I had more money then that. Never heard nothing back from wells since now. They have been calling stating that I owe XXXX due to overdrawn account. I have told them that how am I liable for something I didn't do.
