Consumer Complaint: When making payments to my Wells Fargo Visa, the payment amounts above the minimum payment due isn't being applied to my cash advance balances. They seemed to randomly apply most of the payment to my purchase balance first thus not bringing down my cash advance balance in order for the cash advances to be available again. This isn't right and I don't think it is in their card disclosures of how payments are applied.

Consumer Complaint: I have recently been informed that there is negative information reported by Wells Fargo bank in the file Early warning service maintains under my Social Security number. Upon ordering a copy of the report, I see an entry from this bank listing a Fraud In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting act. The List of accounts below has violated my federally protected consume rights to privacy and confidentiality under 15 USC 1681. I told the Early warning to reinvestigate these accounts : 1. checking account ending in XXXX was charged off on XX/XX/XXXX, 2. checking account ending in XXXX that was charged off XX/XX/XXXX, However, they stated everything was complete and accurate. But how is that possible if the open date, date of last activity and much more is incorrect. According to 15 USC 1681 ( 5 ) they are suppose to modify accounts that isn't reporting correctly. 15 U.S.Crx 1681 section 602 A. States I have the right to privacy. 15 U.S.C 1681 Section 604 A Section 2 : It also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish a account without my written instructions 15 U.S.C 1681c. ( a ) ( 5 ) Section States : no consumer reporting agency may make any consumer report containing any of the following items of information Any other adverse item of information, other than records of convictions of crimes which antedates the report by more than seven years. 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 ( A ) ( 1 ) A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any Consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. Also they aren't even in compliance with metro 2 credit reporting. I have evidence to prove my case

Consumer Complaint: I made a payment on my credit card on XXXX. Approximately, 3 minutes later I attempted to make an additional payment on this same account as I realized the auto payment would not draft as the manual payment exceeded the auto payment. As a result additional payment would be required in order to avoid interest. Well, when i attempted to make the second payment I received a pop up message indicating I have reached my daily limit to make additional online payments to the same account. In order to process another payment I will need to call their XXXX # or I have to make payment from a Wells Fargo account. This bank has very suspicious processes around payments, including when making partial payments between statements.

Consumer Complaint: I submitted a cashiers check as an online deposit on XX/XX/29. It is a CASHIER 's Check and Wells Fargo has told me the funds will not be available until XX/XX/XXXX. The issuer has already been charged the money from his account. Not sure where the funds could possibly be at this point? I have received four different answers about the delay... have filed complaints after complaints with the team only to find out different answers every time I have called as the for the nature of the delay. I have been a WF customer for over 8 years and this is just insane. Never have I ever seen a cashier 's check held up. Avoid WF with everything you have.

Consumer Complaint: Recently my place of work was hacked somehow, forcing the company to write physical checks, I have been depositing the same check to Wells Fargo for at least a year now and it shows up the same everytime. The most recent one was placed on hold, I have dealt with holds before, but this one is an exuberant wait time of 12 days. I believe the maximum a bank is able to with hold a check is 7 by Law, meaning there is an extra 5 days added to my wait time. Apparently it was held for a bad signature and when I called and asked there was nothing they can do about it. I have bills I need to pay, my account is over drafted because I had to pay my rent. I literally will be paid again before this check clears.

Consumer Complaint: My Wells Fargo card was used fraudulently in XX/XX/2022 to make purchases at a XXXX XXXX and a store named XXXX. Wells Fargo continues to tell me the charges are valid, On or around XX/XX/XXXX I was contacted by a 'Tate ' from Wells Fargo Executive Offices and we had a conference with the Wells Fargo Fraud Investigation Team . During this conference I was told by Wells Fargo that it 'appears ' that I made the charges- I not anyone known to me made the charges abd yet Wells Fargo is forcusing me to pay for something I don't have. 'Appears ' is not sufficient proof that I made the charges it is conjecture, speculation. The onus is on Wells Fargo to prove I made the charges, it is not up to me to prove I did not. A police report was filed, an FTC Identity Theft report was filed. I nor anyone known to me made these charges. During the conference call in XXXX, the Fraud Investigation Team was asked by XXXX to provide additonal proof that I made the charges. I was told I would hear back within 10 days. I have not. I've tried to call XXXX on numerous occasions but he never answers nor does he ever return my phone calls after I leave a voice mail XXXX can be contacted at XXXX

Consumer Complaint: They allowed my Xhusband to remove me from the deed, but keep reporting to my credit. Then they keep letting him advance on that loan without my knowledge. It's destroyed my credit. Maxed out my debt to income ratio as well. I literally can never get it off because they allow him to keep pulling from the equity on a loan that doesn't just affect him. I have had to pay thousands and thousands of dollars in extra interest when I purchase things because of it. Not to mention what this is doing to my credit score and stopping my ability to advance in a career in the financial industry. I have worked in this field for 25 years and I have never heard of this happening to anyone else.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX of 2023 I filed a claim for XXXX XXXXransactions that were not authorized by me for a total of {$1200.00}. The bank denied my claim and closed it. In order for them to reopen it they suggested I file a police report. So on XX/XX/2023 I filed the police report and once again they denied and closed my claim. Ive done everything I can had to do to prove I didnt authorize those XXXX XXXXransactions. Wells Fargo has been a pain when it comes to fraudulent activity. Ive even changed my username and password with their help.
