Consumer Complaint: I am writing to inquire about the lawsuit settlement that Wells Fargo agreed, I had a home mortgage with them starting in XXXX and due to financial difficulties, we had trouble paying our mortgage. Wells Fargo never offered a home modification loan and I only learned of a process or what a home modification loan was from another case that was in the newspaper. I then went to Wells Fargo to request the ability to complete a home modification. We did all the paperwork, sent it in only for Wells Fargo to have " lost '' it. We did it three times- with the third paperwork reaching them successfully only for them to deny us immediately after receiving our paperwork and offering no other options. Prior to this I attempted to set up payments to be made to catch up the mortgage. They stated accepted the payment arrangements and when I asked if we were in danger of foreclosure, we were told no. Three days later someone came to our door and served us with foreclosure paperwork. My Spouse filed XXXX XXXX to stop the foreclosure and allow us to attempt to rectify the situation and we started paying the mortgage again ; however, the large amount we had to pay out his check for the XXXX XXXX was difficult to manage and he had to convert to XXXX XXXX, so we could keep our house and other debt was taken care of in order to do so. But Wells Fargo started the foreclosure process again and we requested another home modification. Again denied. They had also told us that any day they would take possession of the home and everything in it as well and we would not be able to get in the home to get our items at that point. This was XXXX and we secured other residence just in case that happened as we had XXXX small children then. we went daily to the house, kept up the yard and paid the utilities. My spouse stayed there overnight. we went overnight somewhere and when we returned our home had been broken into and all the copper piping was stolen. I filed a claim to make the repairs however the check went to Wells Fargo and I had to fight them to get the repairs done. They eventually released the check, and the repairs were completed. I did seek out a lawyer, but Wells Fargo had gone way ahead on the foreclosure process. In the end they sold our house to auction, and the house was sold. To this day Wells Fargo never notified us of the sale of the house, or how much it sold for, I had learned about our house being sold on social media, because I knew the person who bought it. we have moved and if anything was mailed to us we would not receive it as they do not have our new address. It is way past the time frame for having mail forward. Could someone please verify if we would be a claimant on the lawsuit. I called Wells Fargo and the representative stated she knew nothing about the suit. Thank You

Consumer Complaint: The Fair Credit Reporting Act ( 15 U.S. Code 1681 ) says ( 1 ) The banking system is dependent upon fair and accurate credit reporting. Inaccurate credit reports directly impair the efficiency of the banking system, and unfair credit reporting methods undermine the public confidence which is essential to the continued functioning of the banking system. So whenever there is a violation under the FCRA, it impairs the efficiency of the banking system. This is a violation of my privacy with my consumer report, since I control what is listed and what is not. In the event that any accounts are reported without my written consent, that is considered identity theft. This is a violation of both 15 U.S. Code 1681b ( 2 ) and 15 U.S. Code 1681c-2. This leads way to civil liability against the credit reporting agency for negligent and willful noncompliance under 15 U.S. Code 1681n, which allows for {$1000.00} per violation, for account listed without my expressed written consent.

They also deposited fake checks and the bank is making me pay for it. The amounts were {$130.00} for four different fake checks. Also, they charged back my rent which was in the amount of {$1100.00} and they charged back my insurance payment twice which was {$300.00} per transaction so {$600.00} total. They then proceeded to XXXX XXXX themselves the rent and insurance that they disputed through XXXX XXXX and stole it. They XXXX XXXX themselves {$1200.00} one time then the next time it was {$420.00}

Consumer Complaint: Ive had every email breached compromised misused and XXXX by the Unknown. I do still believe family and former friends are still involved by selling my information according to records from XXXX XXXX. But I would like to go ahead and mention the report from XXXX XXXX on Wells Fargo before the crediting the account, missing funds, account take over really gets to bad. Now, first there was a XXXX XXXX ordered on my old account using my old SSN number ... yes, old SSN due to so much from SSA after providing them 100 's of pages of fraud using my ssn and my kids they changed my SSN. But a XXXX XXXX was ordered. Although, I opted out of online banking I recieved an email stating I ordered something from Wells Fargo so, I went to online banking and it asked for a 6 digit code from XXXX XXXX... which wasnt in my possession, nor did I order it. I called filed a complaint with Wells Fargo the same day I realized it, and they closed the account out so they said. Until a week later I discovered the account was still opened. And this was 4-5 weeks ago ... today anyone who has my old information can log into that account via online. Every time Ive called Wells Fargo it sounds like the same XXXX lady each time but uses a different name. Ive very well at keeping up with who I talk to..since Ive been through alot with financial fraud. So, I recieved my report from XXXX XXXX and the following information is not correct : 1. I live in SC and opened the account on XXXX in XXXX, SC, new account number. Opting out of mobile banking and online banking- which means my routing number would be XXXX but my credit report shows me opening the account on XXXX Bank Name saids Wells Fargo XXXX XXXX XXXX routing number XXXX, the status history for this savings account said on XXXX there were 3 Savings accounts opened which is fraud there should have only been XXXX and then when my social security number and profile was changed that was on XX/XX/ -- -the account XX/XX/ isnt me. All saids New Account Opened. This is for the Savings Acct. Now for the Checking account it shows Wells Fargo XXXX XXXX with the routing number being XXXX and the account number actually being my account number but the routing number is wrong. It shows XXXX my account was overdrawn which is false. It shows the following new checking accounts opened on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXoverdrawn which is false XX/XX/XXXX new account opened, XXXX XXXX all were opened new accounts using my information and linked to my SC Wells Fargo account ... shows overdrawn XXXX both false but then looking at the balance history on XXXX the balance was {$76.00}, {$46.00} no account never overdrawn. As of XX/XX/ it shows the compromised account still opened? The routing number after researching all Wells Fargo Banks Routing Numbers in every state the routing number XXXX doesnt belong to any state close to North Carolina routing number but not quite. when researching the actual routing number it shows XXXX MN Wells Fargo with Address : XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: Every month wells fargo will close this out as if it is resolved and I told them I am going to file this every month until they give me back the money they owe me this pertains to case # XXXX These complaints are pertaining to claim # XXXX {$320.00} transactions that I did not make and the XXXX claim which was half of the {$2000.00} claim that I never received amounting to {$1000.00} XXXX Part of this is true but I never received {$1000.00} from the {$2000.00} that was supposed to be credited to me, because the XXXX location on XXXX XXXX and the Wells Fargo on XXXX XXXX XXXX both located in XXXX, SC refused my service because of my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on Saturday XX/XX/2022 while I was speaking with your customer service and you can go back and listen to my call and/or look at the film at those locations. I was inside the branch while talking to your customer service. After they refused to allow me to me withdraw my money, your Customer Service Agents came up with other options, one was a XXXX XXXX and the other was transferring the money to a different bank and I tried both and they both were unsuccessful. I managed to save XXXX XXXX because after they had me to transfer it to my XXXX account I called back and stopped the transaction and the ladies at the XXXX XXXX location allowed me to withdraw {$1000.00}, but I never received the other {$1000.00} because the XXXX transaction DID NOT GO THROUGH, NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YALL REBUTTAL IT AND SAY THAT IT WENT THOUGH PLEASE PROVIDE ME PROOF CAUSE I NEVER RECEIVED IT.. THAT WAS MY MONEY. Also claim number XXXX is the other transaction that I did not make your dispute team denies it and but the fact remains it happened on the same date as the approved fraudulent transactions were made for {$2000.00} XXXX which were transactions that I did not make, and your favorite excuse is it happened with a pin and I say they were all done with a pin and if they were not then how did were the {$2000.00} transactions made or what was the difference in those transaction and/or what makes these transactions different from the {$320.00} transaction that I did not make on the same date as the {$2000.00} fraud transaction was made. Wells will send a document stating something like Wells finds this not to be fraud, who finds it not to be fraud how can you even type something like that without providing any truth or documentation to your lies/rebuttals. I need proof not a Wells Fargo document stating this couldnt be fraud. The fraudulent {$2000.00} transactions happened with a pin code, if it happened differently then please explain the difference in the {$320.00} fraudulent transaction and please explain the fraudulent {$2000.00} transaction and how can you approve me for {$2000.00} and not approve me for {$320.00} which happened same day and time ... That transaction happened on the same day the same way as the others happened but deny for {$320.00} this and approve the {$2000.00} transactions if they didnt happen with someone obviously knowing pen number how did all these fraudulent transaction take please because they all happened with a pin or something cause what makes this different from the other {$200.00} transaction, if they happened different then explain the difference in the fraudulent transaction for {$2000.00} XXXX and please share the difference in the fraudulent transaction for {$320.00} there is no difference they all happened the same way and if they didnt then please explain how the {$2000.00} happened if It didnt happen with someone using or knowing or guessing my pen because you are quick to say that the {$320.00} happened with a pen and it can't be approved well how did the {$2000.00} happen if it didnt happen with a pen and how was it approved... Consumer Complaint: My father who is in his XXXX wanted to close several smaller accounts at various banks and consolidate them at what was his XXXX XXXX account. I do have power of attorney on the account at XXXX XXXX We had him endorse a final check from XXXX XXXX in the amount {$34000.00} and endorsed it on the back as payable to XXXX XXXX and listed the account number. We did the same with a similar final check from XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX. We put it in a US Post Office Box and addressed it to XXXX XXXX with a deposit slip for both checks. Neither check arrived at XXXX XXXX. Both XXXX and XXXX XXXX were contacted and provided tracing numbers. The police were contacted who advised filing a report with the US Postal Office which was submitted. The checks were eventually retrieved showing that an unknown party had signed underneath the account number and wrongfully submitted the forged check as their own. XXXX XXXX promptly refunded the money to my father. XXXX advised that they were contacting Wells Fargo where the funds were deposited. After nearly a year they explained that Wells Fargo was wrongfully denying liability because the check had originally been signed above and endorsed to XXXX XXXX. Wells Fargo was refusing to communicate or answer any queries whatsoever regarding the matter further. I am an XXXX in California. I have contacted an attorney who specializes in such banking cases. He agrees that Wells Fargo is deliberately delaying in hopes that their wrongful behavior will not be pursued. The matter deserves to be publicized and punitive fines are in order for this despicable conduct. We are exploring a class action lawsuit attempting to locate other consumers who have been treated similarly by this established pattern of behavior.

Consumer Complaint: There are two issues of fraud. The first is that my husband purchased a home located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX. The home was purchased on or around XXXX XX/XX/2019 using my credit without my knowledge or consent in violation of applicable laws. As best I can tell, the current owner of the loan is XXXX XXXX located in XXXX XXXX, NC. ( possible loan number is XXXX, although this number could also be the state collection number against the property ) The second is the acquisition of a third-party loan currently owned by Wells Fargo XXXX The loan collateral used was my private residence. This residence is held and owned under only my name, XXXX XXXX. I was not notified of the loan, nor did I consent to the issuance of this loan. The original loan amount and the loan holder is unknown to me. When I followed up with Wells Fargo the bank was unable to disclose that information to me due to privacy laws, even though I am required to satisfy the third-party loan by court order. Both issues were discovered due to divorce proceedings.
