Consumer Complaint: I recently reviewed a copy of my credit report and I noticed the following hard inquiries. I never filled out an application for credit and upon doing my research I noticed that this is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. This Act states that the only reason to pull an individual 's credit is for the following reasons : 1. A firm offer of credit 2. Insurance 3. Application for employment 4. A Court Order The following hard inquiries are not related to any of the following, I have never given these companies permission to use or have my personal information. If you refuse to remove these hard inquiries, I will move forward and ask for legal verification which would include ; the name and title of the person who pulled my credit, date they purport that I gave permission to have my credit pulled, the method they purport that I gave permission to run my credit. Please include documentation of said permission. If you can not provide me with this information, remove these incorrect hard inquiries from my credit file as soon as possible. I have attached my police report to this dispute.

Issue: Getting a loan
Subissue: Confusing or misleading advertising
Consumer Complaint: Wells Fargo has been providing misleading advertisements about scholarships through their CollegeSteps program. Wells Fargo also has a scholarship program. Wells Fargo has not made students aware of scholarship displacement, a practice that postsecondary institutions use to force students who have received outside scholarships into additional student loan debt or make them drop out of college. Wells Fargo has known about the practice for years and continues to mislead students knowing that the students will become victims of scholarship displacement. Wells Fargo is using their CollegeSteps program as a way to force students to get their loans once they become victims of scholarship displacement. Wells Fargo must be investigated for their misleading and predatory advertisements and practices.

Consumer Complaint: I believe it was XX/XX/2022. I pay my car payment myself not on auto pay and went to pay it and they told me they couldn't take the payment because of the bank Taking back 3 months of payments. And they gave me 2 days to get all the balance due or they were going to repo my car. So I called the bank and of course at first no one knew how it happened and were supposed to send the lender a letter explaining what happened and that they would return the payments to keep my car. But they didn't and the second day I got a call from work work saying they are towing my car. So I get back on with the bank and then contacted the corporate office and took them a like 2 weeks to reply in a email. Meanwhile I had to fill Bankruptcy because of that and I just built my credit up from a previous bankruptcy so I'm really mad about that! Anyway a few back in forths and a month later I heard back again and they are still looking into it. So in XXXX XXXX XXXX you this happened in XX/XX/XXXX I grt a call from corporate office telling me there is nothing they can do because someone that didn't sound anything like me and that's their words but some how had my account info and had the payments pulled back! And this is after seeing several bank accounts in my name I didn't open. Anyway they said they can't do anything but me and my lawyer feels they owe me XXXX for the balance of the car they let someone takes payments back on! I'm pretty that's the dates but I have them and the emails. I stayed banking with them because my lawyer told me too in case they compensate me for my car. Never did and never heard back from them again.
